This was he first record I bought as a kid. Imho, this is one of the best scores made in the eighties. It is genius✨✨
Really love the way this score is mixed and mastered. It’s dreamy and fuzzy in the brass with these crisp sizzling strings and harp overtop.
Amazing score! one of my fave movies for 34 years since i was 4 and the prequel show is awesome

This is my 3rd favorite film of all time, i remember asking my dad to get this DVD until I finally got it in 2021s Christmas
Even this era of filmmaking nobody makes the film scores like they used to back then. As this is epic as it is iconic.

Trevor Jones doesn't seem to get the same kind of respect as either Williams, Zimmer or Goldsmith... such a shame, given how he's given us great music to rival them.

@GillesNuytens Labyrinth is the other Jim Henson movie with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. I really hope you like it when you eventually see it. Although i think if you had watch it as a kid, it would had more impact on you than as adult. There is so many good songs on this soundtrack.
