Honestly, the airline in the true A-hole of the third story. OP specifically booked the seats together, and was actually a good enough parent to want to be seated next to her kids and had all the supplies ready to keep the kids quiet and under control.
Exactly, she booked the tickets, airline said fuck you, then when the passangers realized they would be alone with babies they swapped seats… like “entitled karen”? Nah man. Fuck the airline and she was “willing” to let the babies be alone… sue the airline btw for real
The airline will always put a child with a parent especially if that young. I took Spirit(don’t judge) only late flight available. They put my son 2 seats behind me. When I saw that, I went to the gate attendants and they changed our seats with no issues.
Even worse, though, are the people in the comments who were roasting OP and calling her entitled because, what, she wanted to make sure her young kids were safe.
The airline industry has gone to utter shite. A friend of mine, who had booked First Class seats for himself and his wife for their 25th anniversary on both ends of their trip, was still separated due to last-minute changes.
Story 3, I get from the way it's explained that the parent tried their best to get the situation fixed without annoying other passengers and when that failed because most airlines are shitty with admitting failures, started by asking if those person could swap seat to fix the situation the **airline** created. No Entitlement there. To be quite clear, I feel like it should be flat out illegal for airlines to forcefully split families like that and not try anything to remedy it, especially when it's related to very young youth.
THIS!! OP did everything they could to make the airline fix the issue, they refused to. when the airline failed at every turn, AND the "gentleman" refused to be accommodating, it was only fair to let him know what would happen if he stayed put. he can whine to the airline if he's so butthurt about it - and he should! it's the airline's problem after all, not OP's
True. But it’s really easy to book your seats the evening before. I might have very long legs and had to have an aisle seat and I got asked to switch to a middle seat.
@@wmdkitty PLUS I ALREADY SETTLED MYSELF IN. AND YOU GET ALL UP IN MY GRILL WITH THE PRODUCT OF YOUR INABILITY TO GLUE YOUR LEGS SHUT? *I MOVE FOR NO BITCH. AND I'M CALLING CPS*
If the man wouldn’t have given up his seat there was nothing else she could do is sit separately from the kids, and let the kids raise hell until they could be seated together. The way the mother handled the situation was superb and no way being a Karen.
The solution was for the gentleman to simply inform the flight attendants that the woman was threatening to leave the children unattended. Which is 100% accurate. Goodbye kids and entitled b*tch. I hated kids on flights usually because the parents do not police the children.
@@darthdrawssometimes8451 yes. My picture is accurate but I’ve been called Mr mom a few times. I’m lucky for my wife too, I have 4 kids and my family is my life
"I better not hear an effing word out of you, boy" would have been my cue to let loose. Just as it was when my father and grandfather said it to me. 🤣🤣
It was for me too. When I was house hunting 5 years ago I had two absolute stipulations. No HOA was the first one. The second was I would not buy a house on a street where the curbs were clogged with parked cars. I have guests often and I've seen street parking spaces degrade into violent confrontation before and wanted no part of that from any neighbor.
Same here. I read the rules for one HOA in a newer housing development in our town, and some of the rules really suck. For instance, you can only paint your home one of four approved colors (all of which are bland as mush), flower and vegetable gardens are severely restricted, you’re not allowed to have clotheslines in your backyard, and no backyard pools are allowed AT ALL. Fuhgeddaboudit!!!! When my husband and I were house hunting, if there was a “yes” by the HOA question on a real estate listing, we immediately rejected it. No WAY are we living in a mini-dictatorship like that!
Throwing the protein drink was Assault with a Weapon, Vandalism and Littering, all rolled into one stupid action... If I were OP, I'd DEFINITELY have called over that Officer and had Moron Arrested...
Yeah, I don't get how OP is the AH in the 3rd story. That's not "harassing" a stranger, it's being honest. Harassment would have been dropping the kids there and legitimately leaving them without asking to switch. I see this as downright politeness on their part, with the airline being the jerks.
Story 3: OP could have told the flight attendant "Since they are now essentially Unaccompanied Minors it will be your responsibility to sit with them for the entire flight per regulations. Bye!"
"Yes, there ARE policies and regulations for unaccompanied minors, and you just INSISTED that there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO to make them ACCOMPANIED minors, so now you'd better watch BOTH of them like hawks, and make sure that the STRANGERS you are FORCING them to sit next do don't diddle or hurt them in any way, or I will sue you, personally, Pamela!"
Yes, as soon as the ticket agent or airline rep on the phone said they couldn't change the seating, she should have registered them as unaccompanied minors.
My husband and I were traveling with our 2 small kids and the airline in their 'wisdom' had put me in one seat, our toddlers in a pair of seats up a row and across the aisle from me and my husband several rows away from us. (The joys of using miles for tickets.) We boarded first because small kids and my husband sat with the kids while I sat in my seat. When the gentleman came to claim his seat my husband offered him a choice. He could take my husband's seat or he could sit with our kids. The man wisely asked where his new seat was.
Story 3 - Oh for f's sake, Reddit, the gentleman was entitled, not the mother who needed to be with her _small children_ I don't even HAVE kids and I can understand that basic bit of logic! EDIT: Of course the airline were the AH's for this, but the dude should have understood and been pissed with the Airline, not refuse the mother
Story 3: as I understand the story, there was 2 different airlines involved, and although I have no clue how she booked the trip, I would assume it was probably on a 3rd party website. My experience with these types of sites leads me to believe that they may not have gotten a choice when it came to seats on the second flight. However, it is entirely possible that the airlines assigned random seats for whatever reason, as that seems like it is not out of the realm of possibility. My family has actually experienced this, as evidentiary the 3rd party site that we used and the airlines own site allowed the same seats to be reserved. We were told this by the stewardess, as apparently it is not a rare occurrence. Anyway, regardless of how the seat situation happened, if you do everything you can to fix it with the airlines, and explain the situation to the other people, and they refuse to move, this is not being entitled. They refused to move even when the situation was made clear to them. OP had every right to do this. The only exception I could see is if they paid extra for the seat they were in. But most airlines don’t let young children sit in exit rows, and I don’t think OP was in first class judging by the story.
If three people can sit across an airplane row without an aisle between them, they are probably in economy. Most planes that I've seen have two seats, aisle, and two seats in first class.
Yeah like what did people expect her to do? She asked nicely and explained the issue and they refused to move, so then the options: 1) she could sit there with one kid and have the other sit on their own (unsafe) 2) she could have both kids sit there together while she sat elsewhere (unsafe) or 3) she could make the person sitting there realise they’re being a bit of a twat and move (safe) I would have made the person feel even more uncomfortable by saying “I find it a bit sketchy that you want to sit next to two underage children without their parent present”
Story 2, the Karen realized how badly her attempt to get everyone to hate op backfired on her. To the point she tried to tell them that they "misunderstood" her in the last meeting.
How is OP entitled for being a parent trying to sit WITH her small children? If the kids were teens, or it was adults trying it I could see entitled. But its ONE adult and TWO small children, the kind that need constant supervision.
@Licht Bach you realize I the post she said "I booked them next to each other" and "when I was given the passes, they were seperate". How is that "booking them wrong"? Please. Explain it to me like im 5.
Story 3: Why are you all so quick to blame OP? She explicitly informed the Airline that she needs to sit together with small children, one of whom still in diapers. They didn’t accommodate her on that, so as a parent in her situation without any help from the Airline who had the duty to correct the issue, she did what she had to do in order to assure the safety/security of her kids. Not a parent but am an uncle.
Right I would never let my kids sit away from me and next to some stranger I would definitely form a complaint like I'm sitting next to my kids and plus my kids r 4 and 6 and r monsters like they get bored so easy then omg they will fight and whinn about everything but no they would never sit away from me they r also shy and emotional so they would of started crying big time but I'm very glad in Australia our airlines are very helpful and I always got hubby
Not a parent but I have a few younger cousins, one of my older cousins recently had a baby, and I have a younger sibling I know how being protective of them is and honestly OP did the right thing. They had young children on a space that is really cramped and was placed in a seat away from the young children. You don't know what kind of unouted creeps could be on that plane and you want your children to be safe. The airlines did nothing about that and I don't think the police could really help if the kids in fact got kidnapped because OP could not get the guy to switch seats. I'm glad this story had a happy ending and OP was able to protect their kids
I love stories like the bar one, where managers and owners try to backtrack on their decision, only to realize the damage is done and they can never regain what they've lost.
Story 1: The reason most ubers have camera is because of people like this. Yeah, the man was right in not wanting to be filmed, but how he acted when obliged his request of 'Turn it off or let me out' shows he wanted no evidence for whatever he might have done to Op. Story 3: Where the heck was Op being entitled? The man clearly couldn't take the hint of "I'm trying to save everyone from being annoyed during this however long flight." Yeah, it would suck to give up a seat you paid for, but would anyone really want to sit next to TODDLERS of all people. Toddlers who need to have a eye on them at all times as to not hurt themselves? Toddlers who need to be entertained for a whole car ride to not make a fuss? Toddlers who are know for crying very very loudly? And to all those people saying the mom was entitled, would you leave your TODDLERS alone with some random you never met before? Get real. Story 4: HA! Owner messed around and found out. What even is so wrong about having your employees get food and drink from the place they work? It just means your getting a bit of what you paid them back. Owner just wanted to throw their weight around and found they threw it to hard. Story 5: Trying to ruin a kids life...over a shirt? Couldn't they had just made Op wear something else, like a gym shirt of something? That seems like someone really hated whoever was on Op's shirt and decided Op must never have anything good in life for a FREAKING SHIRT!
Flying with 2 Toddlers Story: I don't think OP was the Entitled person at all... The people that REALLY Pissed me Off in this story are the Airline Employees that booked OP and her 2 TODDLERS in 3 seats spread out over the plane...Which by the way IS ILLEGAL AS HELL!!! It's Criminal Negligence and Child Endangerment to separate 2 TODDLERS from their Parent/Guardian ON AN AIRPLANE FOR A MULTI HOUR FLIGHT!!! If I'd been OP, I'd be calling the FAA and whichever Federal Department that oversees how Airlines Operate and raise Unholy Howling HELL over what that Airline tried to do...I'd also be calling CPS to sick them on the Airline for their actions which would lead to Child Endangerment if OP hadn't convinced the other 2 passengers to switch seats with her... THEN I'd be filing in Court for an Injunction permanently Banning ALL Airlines from separating Parents from their Minor Children on all flights (except those flights where the minor child is flying unaccompanied, which the Airlines already have decent Policies in place to deal with)... After that, I call the News Agencies to REALLY make sure the dagger is well planted in the Airlines back and viciously twisted... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
3rd Story: I will never complain about any reasonable actions by a Momma Bear protecting her cubs!!! She was very reasonable in ensuring her cubs' safety!
I'm on her side. There is NO WAY I am leaving my TODDLER with a complete stranger at all!!! What kind of person would do that? At least she found a way to do it in a nice way instead of blowing up and making a scene.
I would have moved seat in a heartbeat, not putting up with anyone else's kids, i never asked anyone to care for mine, my responsibility, I'll be damned if I'm doing it for a stranger!
I kinda don’t blame OP, it was the airline’s screw up, but if I’d paid extra for a better seat, I’d have switched, but I’d have had a big-time attitude about it.
Same. Yes ma'am, I'll move. I'd take that middle seat even when I hate it because being next to a toddler I do not know would be a nightmare. I don't know how to handle children.
What exactly was the mother who was flying supposed to do? She created the best outcome. Grandpa should have stood up and said: it’s the number 3 cylinder.
I think mom on the plane was super smart. What better way to get a self centered controlling guy to move, than ask him to help as he had taken that option away
@Licht Bach It was the airlines that screwed up-The failed to give her the extra service that she paid for. You have been trolling this board because you're just a miserable 'child'
@Licht Bach but is wasn't her poor planning. She did book seats together but when she got the boarding pass for the connecting flight, they'd split up the seats. She tried to get it fixed and no one would/could fix it. So, she planned properly, got screwed, tried to solve the issue and got no help to do so. She was at last resort. She doesn't sound like an entitled mother, she was in a crap situation and did the best she could. She was bluffing with the man on the flight. As she said, she doesn't know what she would have done had the man not given her the seat to be with her kids. Her bluff worked and he moved.
Ya Lichtenstein Bach you just sit next her her crying kids. Not her fault. She booked them together and for the second flight she tried but they just kept pushing it to the next person in line. Should have been taken care of before the stewardess. Airline people before that just too lazy to try to change the seats
Flying mom with toddlers: Yes, entitled parents exist. But this story is a good example of how we may not know the whole story. I do not have kids, but sometimes ya gotta think outside of the box. This lady wasn’t entitled, she was doing what she was told to do by the airline. Having kids does not mean you’re imprisoned. People need to quit being so silly.
SO the OP tries to book the seats together but the **AIRLINE** screws it up and refuses to do anything about it.... but somehow the OP is the entitled person?!?! Those complainers are pure dog turds... She did her due diligence and tried hard to get it corrected, the **AIRLINE** was the one at fault... I think she did the only thing possible... unless those whiney bastards would have been willing to watch the kids since they refused to move...
Old man who had every right and still not be a dick move: no what I'm going to do is sit here and enjoy the flight the best i can. You can take care of your kids.
I hate how people say that the mother in story 3 is entitled. As far as I'm concerned and half of these stories where the people have quote on quote earned the title "entitled" it's because you instantly blew up in someone's face for not doing what you want for no good reason. As far as I'm concerned she tried to get everything situated before the flight started and no one would help her. It's not like she demanded their seat or anything she just asked nicely and honestly would you want your kids to sit next to a stranger? She's clearly doing it because she doesn't want her young kids to be separated from her and so that nobody gets 100% bothered on the plane you sit next to a screaming toddler on an airplane because they're fussy no one's going to have fun. Could have she tried explaining it better to the man? Yes, but dose it make her entitled for wanting to be close to her children? No. Now if she were to be like "Give me your seat! I deserve that seat I'm a mother blah blah blah" and then scream that the man tried to hit her just because he said no THEN she would be entitled and definitely in the wrong. But I don't know what makes someone entitled for not wanting a stranger to be seated next to your children. As far as we know she's the only parent accompanying these children on the flight if their father was there and able to see what was going on this wouldn't be a problem.
STORY 3 OP wasn't being an A-Hole the airline was since they separated a mom and 2 minors and refused to assist saying there was nothing they could do. I'm sorry they had to know when the tickets were booked there were minors traveling LONG gone are the days of anonymous airplane travel if they can kick you off for being an undesirable person they can easily change seats around
@@aussiefamily4886 We don't have them in the UK either so very happy with that when I listen to some of these stories - nightmare!! eta: at least not in owned houses - maybe something similar in a block of flats or something?
No she had seats but they were widely scattered and she had toddlers. The airline would not fix the situation and apparently expected her to plop her toddlers down next to random strangers and go sit somewhere else.
Story 3 I mean maybe handing the guy the bag of entertainment and giving instructions was a little vindictive, but she was just trying to get across the very real fact that if he didn't trade seats, these 2 children would be his neighbors for the next few hours. Apparently that didn't dawn on him when she asked nicely so she made it more apparent what a chore that was going to be. Definitely not entitled, not sure what those people heard that I did not.
I was security for a popular pub and later bought and ran the pub next door and I would always let my employees drink in their off hours and bring their friends as they were my best customers.
Story 3; the mom did everything she could to be seated with her kids. When the man refused to move, I think it was awesome that without whining, she pointed out the consequences of his decision and gave him the opportunity to change his mind. No harm, no foul, but MC
Well I can say, no I wouldn't swap seats, since my first officer wouldn't like it. That being said, as the captain of this aircraft, I will sort this issue out! If my flight crew can't rectify a situation like this, I sure as heck will. And NO I don't work for AA.
It sounds like the parent (on the plane) was prepared to take care of her children. It would have made more work for the stewards to look after them, and you'd think it would be appreciated by all if they were seated together. If there were three seats available together, why not do the sensible thing and just seat them together. I think she did the right thing, letting that selfish man know what he was in for if he insisted on not trading seats.
Honestly, sometimes it feels like any request for help is seen as entitled after the Karen meme blew up. You know, maybe that person asking to swap seats isn't an entitled Karen, maybe you're just a selfish a-hole. The fact that some people believe that she was entitled when she was polite and did everything to not bother other passengers until she was forced to is so bizarre to me. What was she supposed to do? Just accept that some stranger is going to be left unattended with her children for hours? Oh yeah, let me put my children in danger on the matter of principality! Mother of the year!
You made me laugh, Darkfluff! I tested positive for Covid at the beginning of last week & have been feeling very sorry for myself. Haven’t had a hug or cuddle from my little grandchildren as I’m isolated. Your stories really gave me a lift! What a star, you are! Thank you xx 🎉
For everyone saying the mom was acting entitled I would like to ask a question. What would all of them have done if they weren't allowed to sit with their children ? Would they trust a random stranger to be alone on an airplane with their very small children ? She wasn't acting entitled she was just trying to do whatever it took to sit with her children. What's entitled about wanting to be next to your kids on an airplane ? People might disagree with me on this one but I'm with the mom on this one. Love your videos Peace and love to you and your family 💙💜💙💜💙💜
@ Licht Bach that’s your opinion. Maybe you are the Karen. All I can say is that next time you fly I really really hope the flight is filled with crying babies and toddlers. Cancel headphones won’t help
@Licht Bach what would you do if the airline separate you and your kids on a plane full of complete strangers. She wanted to sit with her kids that she booked. Stewardss wouldn't help and the guy didn't want to move at first. She got him to move so she can protect her kids. She only acted like it cause there was no other choice. She did it for her kids whom she was able to watch. What would you do, dude?
@Licht Bach The airline did. Try cleaning the wax out of your ears and actually listening to the posts. The airline of the joining flight booked them in separate rows and, when she realized this, she tried to fix the issue.
The last story had me laughing hysterically. I could just visualise the old man with oil and gunge or over his face. At least he took it well and realised the error of his ways.😂😂🚙🚙
I don't blame OP on story 3 too much, more the airline as they had told her last minute, and basically pushed her forward telling her there was nothing she could do and that she would need to bring it up with 3 different people ending with the passenger, though in fairness OP should have imagined something like this would have been a possibility on a connected flight.
@@jacthing1 if that's the case, then I'd put the blame mostly if not solely on the airlines, as I can understand a parent not wanting the children with a stranger for a couple reasons.
@@darralynemunro7350 No, because that would be actual words, and he said he didn't want to hear a word out of him...didn't say anything about laughing.
Certainly glad pops took it as well as he did in the last story, even if he was asking for it lol. It's always good to verify the situation before moving forward with a plan.
Story 3: There's nuance in the story as presented that separates the mom from being an entitled parent. First, she had booked and reserved seats to put the kids next to her in one row. When layovers have you switch to other planes or airlines entirely, there really should be something behind the scenes that attempts to preserve groups in a row if not the seat position 1:1. Secondly, every single person in the chain passed the buck on her, which is frustrating as all hell. This wasn't a Karen mad that she wasn't getting her way for her comfort, this was a mother trying to keep the tribe together. I can only hope that her kids were well behaved during the flight.
I’ll admit the 3rd story the op would have been a Karen if she just dropped everything on the guy for not moving and not say a word but because she tried everything and then at the very end basically did a scar tactic to scare the man off is better than dripping everything on him and running off like most Karen’s Also I think she knows it’s not a good idea giving her kids to strangers
Yeah, she said it would never ACTUALLY happen. If he had continued to refuse to move, then she would have continued asking people to shift around, even if she had to shift 15 people, or more, to get the row together with her BABIES. And it is ALL the airline's and airline employees' fault. They REFUSED to do their jobs, and I think it's probably ILLEGAL for them to actually take off with a BABY BEING UNSUPERVISED. Honestly, if they continued to refuse, she should have called the police, and CPS, and reported the airline, itself, and EVERY EMPLOYEE WHO REFUSED TO HELP HER for child endangerment. After all, you don't know if the people they are FORCING to sit next to those BABIES are child molesters or abusers, or what. IT'S DANGEROUS. Good parents ALWAYS vet their babysitters FIRST.
Sure it can. If someone across the street's got cars up on blocks, trash & detritus all over their yard and you're trying to sell your house, of course anyone who comes to view it is going to think twice about making an offer.
Anything that you might consider relevant when deciding to move somewhere or not has an impact on the value of a house. That doesn't mean it's your business, though...
In regard to the mother with the children on the airplane, it is important to remember no one on the plane loves or cares for your child(ren) other than you. I have been on both sides of that equation. I have moved simply because I did not want to be with someone else's child because it was not mine. My personal situation where it was me needing someone to move was when my daughter was a four-and-a-half-year-old. This was 26 years ago before all the technology we have now and somehow our reservation had been changed not my fault not the other person's fault and because I can't stand when someone takes your seat before asking, I waited in my seat that was right behind my wife. A young lady showed up who was in the window seat who would now be next to my daughter in the middle. I looked at her explaining the situation and she looked right in my eye and said “It is a short flight the window is really important to me, deal with it.” I was thinking okay do you really want to sit next to a four-and-a-half-year-old who will now make you their new best friend? Cool! I sat there and my daughter asked her did she want to color, did she want to play tic-tac-toe, did she want to play Barbie? At about 30 minutes into a 90-minute flight this young lady looked at me and in a sheepish tone said “Sir, Sir perhaps I was a little hasty in not switching seats, would you like to join your family? The best way to describe her face was similar to Oliver asking for more porridge. I looked at her reminding her how clear she had been on the importance of that window seat and the shortness of the flight. I continue by saying I had gotten over it and she should continue to enjoy her seta for the next hour. The look of horror on her face was worth the stare of death from my wife who told me to change seat with her. I guarantee you that young woman never ever said no to a parent needing to swap seat with her again.
Story 6 - I was thinking they should put the furniture outside, too. OP's mom was a step head of me. I tip my hat to her pettiness. And story 7. You can't say Grandpa's method of finding the blown cylinder wasn't quite effective.
story 4: I used to work at a bar...and there was NEVER a rule saying that employees can't drink after their shift is over. matter of fact, we were allowed one free drink after we clocked out. there was no drinking during the shift...and that makes sense. 🤷🏾♂️
Story 2 someone violated multiple Federal and likely state laws. Retaliation or even threats of retaliation against someone making a report is illegal. From the story its likely the Union also violated those laws as who files a report is to be kept confidential.
Obviously that school never heard about Tinker vs The Des Moines Board of Education, which went before the Supreme Court in 1968. It set the precedent that students don’t give up their free speech rights at the schoolhouse door.
The mom on the airline was NOT being an entitled Karen. She was being a protective mom who after complying with what she'd been told to do, used psychology to keep her family together. Considering the world today, I don't blame her at all! She didn't hassle anyone, ask for a manager, pitch a fit or lie. She made reasonable requests.
So the airline just expected OP to leave her kids with strangers, after OP explicitly booked connected seats. And Reddit is giving her flag for finding a solution? THIS is why the Karen meme was a mistake!
story 3, i don't have kids myself but i do have nieces and nephews, all of them are young enough that i would not be ok with a stranger sitting with them, so OP you did what any good parent would do.
Story 1: Do Uber and Lyft share information about bad customers? If you lose one service because of your behavior, then you should be black balled from both.
That last story had me LMAO because it makes me think of my father. He would have done and said the exact same thing that the grandpa did. He's been gone 32 years, but still miss him like crazy.
Oh boy ..... christen me and the inside of my car with a protein shake ....."Hello, police officer who just happens to be sitting over there ...... I'd like to report an act of vandalism in my car ..... and possibly an assault by hitting me with it as well". Add that to his $75.00 cleanup fee.
First story: In my home jurisdiction, using sexual orientation in remarks like that instantly bumps it up to aggravated harassment, which is a felony. The recording is evidence enough.
Cameras are for everyone’s safety and to keep things honest. A male friend drives for both Uber and Lyft. After a female rider accosted him, I told him to get a camera. He did. Another female accosted him, tried to turn it around on him, but he had the camera footage to show what she was trying to do to him. He has daughters, so he keeps them in mind when it comes to female passengers. That these women are someone’s daughter, so he’s respectable.
Story 3: imagine the problems of having to deal with two random toddlers on a plane and the mom makes you deal with caring for them because the airline screwed up. I'd say I'd switch with someone if their two toddlers were next to me (even if it was only one I'd switch because toddlers are hell).
I mean she did ask him to move and explained why, and the guy refused. I'd say the guy was kind of a asshole for doing that, yes it's his seat but if you don't then your making everyone else on the plane as well as your own's flight worse. Due to the toddlers screaming the whole time
On the 3rd story the airlines would of had a lawsuit on their hands by refusing the mothers request in the first place. If the mother was forced to leave her children next to people that could of been pedophile. To the people that thinks she is the ahole, do you leave your children with complete strangers?
Maybe, but some people are just stupidly paranoid. I knew a guy who threw an absolute shit-fit over the idea of traffic light cameras because 'the government will have your picture'. And I'm like, wait 'til this guy learns about driver's licenses.
@@foxfireinferno197 it's as easy as tuen off the camera, wait for a street where is almost to no traffic and pull a knife and place it against the neck of the driver from the back seat where the driver can't defend itself.
I think you have read the first story before, but having said that, a lot of cabs have CCTV in the car to protect them from being robbed or stab, some people fail to notice the sticker with the words "THIS TAXI/PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE IS PROTECTED BY CCTV"!! ( I am in the UK)
Ok to anyone who said that mother was rude or entitled all I have to say is WTF?!? The woman was desperately trying to fix a problem and wanting to change seats not leave her toddlers with a stranger. I would happily change spots with her since it's better for her to deal with them if they get rowdy or otherwise than leaving them with a stranger who might get annoyed with them or not. There was an earlier story when a dad left his two kid with the storyteller at the time while he went to sit with his wife who was sleeping but after the landing flight she was scared and mad at her husband for leaving their kids with a stranger. It only ended well because OP was nice he mostly slept. Can't and won't say for all but I blame the airlines for this incident.
The people angry at the mom for doing what she did must not know what is like to fly with kids and how dangerous it is to have them sit away from you. I would have done what she did if it got me the seat bc leaving any child in a different row than you could leave them acceptable to danger, dangerous people or situations. It's not safe and she did exactly what she had to. No it's not the guys fault and no its not his responsability but a seat is a seat and if a parent came to me with the situation. I would gladly give them my seat because it's safest and it wasn't their fault that the airline changed their seats
Story 3: The mom was just showing that stubborn man the consequences of his stupidity. He would have been stuck next to toddlers and someone needs to take care of them.
Story 1: This guy is an idiot, he lost his' Uber account permenantly just because he had to misbehave It's not like people are going to watch the recording unless he misbehaves, just what kind of stuff is this guy worried that the Camera will pick up? Sexual Harassment? (If so, then Bullet dodged)
Story 3: The dude was being a stubborn AH about it, like OP was literally trading her seat for the one with her kids, it doesnt actually matter how far forward or back you are on a plane, youre still gonna get off.
What was the lady in the airline story supposed to do? The airline did not seat her and two young kids together so she did what she had to. Was she just supposed to have her kids spread out all over the plane? These people calling her entitled are idiots and clearly do not have small kids.
There was a story about a Karen that used to book their kids good seats and be like "oops! They messed up our seating can you move so I can be next to my kid?" She got called out and I think the dude got an upgrade so she could sit next to the kid or the person in the back row got moved up to the kids seat. Either way that's not what happened here if you have basic listening and comprehension skills. I bet you 100% if she didn't make a stink about it people would've been like "you're a Karen because you put your kids on everyone else." It was a lose lose situation.
Throwing a drink at a Uber Driver that’s is considered assault, if I was the cop that just pulled and saw all of that l would arrest him right on the spot for assault too bad the officer didn’t see it.
The owner had to flex his muscles. In doing so he poisoned the water and drove customers away. Once the customers saw the grass was greener over there they stayed. You must always remember which side your bread is buttered on.
Depending on the age of the kids, it is actually against the law for the airline not to put them together.
The poster was lying. The airline would never do that.
The airline will always put a child with a parent especially if that young. I took Spirit(don’t judge) only late flight available. They put my son 2 seats behind me. When I saw that, I went to the gate attendants and they changed our seats with no issues.
@@co7314 depends. There could be communication failures between airlines since this was a connecting flight.
Absolutely horrible that the airline would separate a parent and two toddlers. I hope she lodged a formal complaint.
Its American airlines what did you expect?
Even worse, though, are the people in the comments who were roasting OP and calling her entitled because, what, she wanted to make sure her young kids were safe.
The airline industry has gone to utter shite. A friend of mine, who had booked First Class seats for himself and his wife for their 25th anniversary on both ends of their trip, was still separated due to last-minute changes.
@@H-to-O Because United Breaks Guitars.
If the elderly couple was my grandparents my grandpa would have taken the seat and my grandma would watch the kids lol
Airlines still either mix stuff up or purposefully ignore you. And I'm sorry but I bought this seat. I'm sitting in this seat. Your fault Karen.
Nope. She didn't book her seats, she's entitled and forcing people to move.
@@wmdkitty PLUS I ALREADY SETTLED MYSELF IN. AND YOU GET ALL UP IN MY GRILL WITH THE PRODUCT OF YOUR INABILITY TO GLUE YOUR LEGS SHUT?

If the man wouldn’t have given up his seat there was nothing else she could do is sit separately from the kids, and let the kids raise hell until they could be seated together. The way the mother handled the situation was superb and no way being a Karen.
@Licht Bach even better, make all the passengers late for their connecting flights. A lesson learned for everyone,
The solution was for the gentleman to simply inform the flight attendants that the woman was threatening to leave the children unattended. Which is 100% accurate. Goodbye kids and entitled b*tch. I hated kids on flights usually because the parents do not police the children.
She had rockstar approach
I agree, Karen's aren't smart enough for reverse psychology like that. Twas a Momma Bear move all the way.
Buying a house in a neighborhood with an HOA would be a dealbreaker for me.
Yes. I will never do it again.
Nowadays you need to buy the land your self to get away from HOA they are like lice
not all HOAs are bad, but some do get annoying
Story 3 - Oh for f's sake, Reddit, the gentleman was entitled, not the mother who needed to be with her _small children_
I don't even HAVE kids and I can understand that basic bit of logic!
She asked nicely and explained the issue and they refused to move, so then the options:
1) she could sit there with one kid and have the other sit on their own (unsafe)
2) she could have both kids sit there together while she sat elsewhere (unsafe) or
3) she could make the person sitting there realise they’re being a bit of a twat and move (safe)
I would have made the person feel even more uncomfortable by saying “I find it a bit sketchy that you want to sit next to two underage children without their parent present”
@Licht Bach quit lying.
@Licht Bach you realize I the post she said "I booked them next to each other" and "when I was given the passes, they were seperate". How is that "booking them wrong"? Please. Explain it to me like im 5.
CCTV cameras are a good person's best friend and a bad person's worst enemy. They make everybody who views the recording a witness to the event.
Likewise, lady karma likes to... equalize the scales
also, your worst enemy if you are unfortunate to get caught doing something "NAUGHTY" yourself.
yeah
because the camera never lies, it never blinks, and it’s also an UNBIASED WITNESS
Agree not a parent but I have a lot of younger cousins
Yeah like what did people expect her to do there instead? She went with the best option for everyone
Not a parent but I have a few younger cousins, one of my older cousins recently had a baby, and I have a younger sibling
I know how being protective of them is and honestly OP did the right thing.
It’s the fact that OP decided to make her problem also the problem of an innocent stranger. True entitled Karen behaviour.

Absolutely don’t want take care of , entertain or listen to cry a whole flight.
Same. Yes ma'am, I'll move. I'd take that middle seat even when I hate it because being next to a toddler I do not know would be a nightmare. I don't know how to handle children.
@@JosieJOK YES...and then demand the airline refund me the difference for moving to a cheaper seat. Their screw up should cost them.
What exactly was the mother who was flying supposed to do? She created the best outcome.
Grandpa should have stood up and said: it’s the number 3 cylinder.
I think mom on the plane was super smart. What better way to get a self centered controlling guy to move, than ask him to help as he had taken that option away
that flight mom was so NOT entitled she was basically giving him a choice to switch or end up next to 2 cranky kids for the whole flight.
@Licht Bach You weren't paying attention to the story huh?
@Licht Bach she planned the trip properly dude. No one would help her fix what the airline f'd up
Flying mom with toddlers: Yes, entitled parents exist. But this story is a good example of how we may not know the whole story. I do not have kids, but sometimes ya gotta think outside of the box. This lady wasn’t entitled, she was doing what she was told to do by the airline. Having kids does not mean you’re imprisoned. People need to quit being so silly.
I'm glad someone else pointed out the bit about OP just doing what she was told. I think it's crazy that people think she was being entitled.
Not the Karen. She was polite to the man until her malicious compliance. A Karen would have been rude from the word Go.
Also she ask the front desk who directed her to the gate, who directed her to the stewardess, who basically said "put up or shut up"
Old man who had every right and still not be a dick move: no what I'm going to do is sit here and enjoy the flight the best i can.
Every time I hear about another HOA story, it reminds me how if I ever get a home to NEVER get one with an HOA.

Story 3: Did I misunderstand the story? It sounds to me like OP was cheated out of the seats she payed for and took action to get them back.
the airline messed up
The airline messed up and the ones angry at OP don’t seem to understand that
No she had seats but they were widely scattered and she had toddlers. The airline would not fix the situation and apparently expected her to plop her toddlers down next to random strangers and go sit somewhere else.
@Licht Bach then what is it?
@Licht Bach stop lying
Separating a mother with two toddlers is a disaster in waiting. I would gladly change seats for that mother.😂😊
the woman with the kids? can't imagine what it would be like to be separated.

@Licht Bach No, she wasn't! You're just a hater looking for attention!
Definitely with you and the mom in that story. She wasn't entitled at all. She was a mama bear trying to ensure the safety of her two small cubs.
@Licht Bach The airline did. Try cleaning the wax out of your ears and actually listening to the posts. The airline of the joining flight booked them in separate rows and, when she realized this, she tried to fix the issue.
story 3: how is it not legally required for an airline to swap seats to keep children with their parents, thats so dangerous to separate them
The last story had me laughing hysterically. I could just visualise the old man with oil and gunge or over his face. At least he took it well and realised the error of his ways.😂😂🚙🚙
Any real man would have given her the seat in a heartbeat.
Story 3 was gangster level compliance, second only to nuclear level
lol for story 7 they at least figured out which cylinder was the bad one 😂😂😂
I don't blame OP on story 3 too much, more the airline as they had told her last minute, and basically pushed her forward telling her there was nothing she could do and that she would need to bring it up with 3 different people ending with the passenger, though in fairness OP should have imagined something like this would have been a possibility on a connected flight.
It sounds like she couldn't have booked the connecting flights. The airlines booked them for her
@@jacthing1 if that's the case, then I'd put the blame mostly if not solely on the airlines, as I can understand a parent not wanting the children with a stranger for a couple reasons.
Last story: Final malicious compliance to Grandpa's last words would be for me to burst out laighing.
I would have been FINISHED. I would have laughed so hard I wouldn't have been able to say anything anyway.😂😂

Airplane mum isn't entitled, what she is is an evil genius... well played airplane mum well played...
That 'entitled' post must have been from a toxic POS!
"So which one is it Grandpa?"
"... #3..."
"Glad you found it."
I’ll admit the 3rd story the op would have been a Karen if she just dropped everything on the guy for not moving and not say a word but because she tried everything and then at the very end basically did a scar tactic to scare the man off is better than dripping everything on him and running off like most Karen’s
Also I think she knows it’s not a good idea giving her kids to strangers
@@AuntLoopy123 and the FAA, naming the stewardess who refused to do her duty.
So the way she behaved towards the man is completely o.k. because "it was just a prank"?
Story 6: I didn't know that a neighbors doing whatever they wanted to do could damage another house value indirectly
Someone complained about a mother wanting to be with her kids!
Story 6 - I was thinking they should put the furniture outside, too. OP's mom was a step head of me. I tip my hat to her pettiness. And story 7. You can't say Grandpa's method of finding the blown cylinder wasn't quite effective.
Grandpa's only mistake was standing too close.
The punk band story. I have never understood bar owners shooting themselves in the foot profit wise.
Sticking a "For Sale" sign at such low price is such a simple yet effective trolling method 😂
story 4: I used to work at a bar...and there was NEVER a rule saying that employees can't drink after their shift is over. matter of fact, we were allowed one free drink after we clocked out.
there was no drinking during the shift...and that makes sense. 🤷🏾♂️
That last story had me giggling...hard! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Oh, that last story had me laughing!
Story 1: for some reason hearing uber stories just makes me think of that " *GET OUT OF MY CAR NOW* " video. Lmao
The last story made me laugh. Gramps got taught a lesson that day.
And there I was sure grandpa would say "It's #3".
To the people that thinks she is the ahole, do you leave your children with complete strangers?
that last story was a wholesome malicious compliance
First story: For a reason is that camera there. I bet he was planning to mug OP.
@Licht Bach How was it fraudulent? He threw a protein drink at the driver and that is assault. The customer could have been arrested.
@@akankshapatwari4167 I think he should have been arrested. Throwing a drink like that, I’m pretty positive that was an assault.
S3: That's one reason why I refuse to fly anymore. Use to get to pick your seats and keep the family together.
last i heard throwing liquid at someone legally qualifies as battery
In the 2nd story, what the manager did is called retaliation and is very serious and very illegal.,
That drink tossed at you is most likely is considered a assault
The last two stories were the best. All were good but chef's kisses to the last two.
Story 3: The mom was just showing that stubborn man the consequences of his stupidity. He would have been stuck next to toddlers and someone needs to take care of them.
I’m beginning to think that the Uber drivers should have their back seats as ejection seats.
Story 1: This guy is an idiot, he lost his' Uber account permenantly just because he had to misbehave
It's not like people are going to watch the recording unless he misbehaves, just what kind of stuff is this guy worried that the Camera will pick up? Sexual Harassment? (If so, then Bullet dodged)
That guy WANTED to cause trouble and didn't want the video evidence to exist!
Story 3: The dude was being a stubborn AH about it, like OP was literally trading her seat for the one with her kids, it doesnt actually matter how far forward or back you are on a plane, youre still gonna get off.
They need cameras as some Uber drivers have lost their lives due to people like that.
What was the lady in the airline story supposed to do? The airline did not seat her and two young kids together so she did what she had to. Was she just supposed to have her kids spread out all over the plane? These people calling her entitled are idiots and clearly do not have small kids.
Last One, BUT he found out which Cylinder was Blown😂🤣..
Story 2. The problem was caused by the airline. The mother booked three seats together and they let her down. They were compelled to sort it out.
That last story about the grandpa had me giggling! I for some reason had some flashback to the show Home Improvement :)
He's lucky it was just oil, not some metal shrapnel.
