That was awesome, I started learning things I didn't know about my SV-2 after just a couple minutes watching. Much easier to digest than reading through the Korg Manual. ;) Thanks for the video!!
Thank you for this, really helpful guide! The thing I love about this synth is it’s simplicity to use, old fashioned knobs… I’m realising now, that with the software, quite how in depth it can go if you want it to - yet it still seems a lot more simple & intuitive than my old Yamaha S90 ever was 😂
Hey Chuck. Awesome review. I just received mine and I love it. 2-3 "complaints" (if you call them that and please let me know what you think. 1. It doesn't come with the USB-B to USB-C cable needed to connect the software. This is super lame for the price. They don't sell these at best buy (other than for printers) and audio equipment doesn't come overnight soi I thought this was a huge oversight. 2. It isn't blue tooth (I know most things aren't but they should be). 3. since it is not bluetooth and there is not even a cable that comes with it there should be a value pack with a case or cover, the appropriate cables needed and with options like bluetooth adapters for midi (or other korg products like their sequencers and synths should come midi / blue tooth midi enabled if not bluetooth enabled). Thoughts??? I love it but why didn't it at least come with the "printer" cable and when are these ever gonna be "wireless"? Thanks Man!
Hey there, you may be able to help me out here. I have my SV-2 connected via midi to a sequencer that also controls many other midi instruments. Each instrument has it's own midi channel obviously. My issue is that the SV-2 is responding as if in Omni mode, in other words, no matter which midi channel I'm sending midi on, the SV-2 is responding to all of it. I know how to select the midi channel for the SV-2 but can't figure out why it's receiving on all channels rather than the one I've selected. After doing some research, I see that there are four midi modes hidden in the midi implementation chart: Mode 1: OMNI ON, POLY Mode 2: OMNI ON, MONO Mode 3: OMNI OFF, POLY Mode 4: OMNI OFF, MONO Any idea how to select the midi mode or confirm I'm in mode 3? The manual says mode three is the default mode. Perhaps a factory reset? Thoughts?
My experience with the SV-2 was limited to the 30 days or so that I had the unit for review. Your best bet would be to post your question(s) at the SV-2 forum over at korgforums.com
To purchase the Korg SV-2 on Amazon, please help me out by using this link (I get partial credit for the sale):

Hi chuck. How to do recording while playing the song and do play back on Korg SV2? Ur assistance is much appreciated. Tq
Is there any autopan effect? I can't tell from the TH-cam videos especially on the EP.
How many sounds has this board with the Editor?
For orintal quarter tone subscales?
Is it possible?
