You ask what are we waiting for? Personally, a Spitfire. Now...I do own all 3 of these warbirds, and just purchased 3 of the boards. Making my own spitfire, and delta wing. Lol.
I owe you two a big Thankyou. Its been a dream of mine to fly R.C planes since I was a kid. Today I took my son to fly our new Eachine P51 Mustang. Amazing. That this hobby is now so affordable and accessible. I really don't think I would have done it with out your channel and one or two others. So thanks again!
I could not believe this airplane could fly soooooooo easily, it's my first rc airplane and with no experience I took to the air with ease and had unbelievable control of this crazy good WW2 trainer sure I crashed many times even got stuck in a tree and this little plane just kept on flying WoW my first attempt was a the park but to many trees and a inexperienced pilot don't mix but once I found a open field with very few trees I had the best time of my life I own all three eachine- volantex Warbirds and today I had maiden flights with the T 28 and the Corsair F4U they both handled awesome can't wait to get the P51d Mustang in the air !!!!!!!! A BIG tip for beginners find a large flat field with very few trees and wait for a light winding day and the fun possibilities are endless I can't remember having more fun and I am all most 60 years old PEACE!!!!!!! !!!SKYS THE LIMIT TAKE IT THERE!!!
Nate you pulled yourself out of a crash dive week with this one. It flew great & I was overjoyed to see Abby take to the skies. 👏💅👏. Abby how could you tell if it was a Bo-ing you didn't have a zoom🔍🔎 lens 😁😁😁. Finally a plane that could stay in the air. ⚓🧡👍⚓💜👍⚓.
I bought the Corsair as my first plane. I now have ocer 20 flights on it and it is truly amazing! It has survived 2 trees(glad i had a lot of tennis balls and a neighbor with a young baseball pitcher to get it down!) It has nosed in a couple times in expeet mode, and still looks and flies great! I now have a buddy with the mustang on the way for his 1st airplane! And don't tell him but I ordered the Mustang and the F22 from Eachine! Can't wait! Don't hesitate anymore, let these little planes get you into the hobby the right way!
the real T 28, navy model was a super plane with lots of power. 600 feet down the runway and pull the stick back would lift a heavy gunnery tow target quickly off the ground.
I love the energy, enthusiasm and good humour The RcSaylors bring to their videos. Despite the planes shown earlier in the week, there ARE 2-channel differential thrust planes that will fly well out of the box. My favourite is the C-17 from Banggood, which appeared about 3 years ago. It's now also being sold by Flitetest, with a couple of minor tweaks.
Thanks for flying the T-28, it was my favorite to fly in when I was in the Navy and 30 years after getting out my friend had a T-28 that we flew from Carlsbad, Ca to Prescott, AZ.
Looking forward to your opinion on this plane. I love the way it flies. I have my own video up of my maiden flight. Their different designs (P-51, F4U, T-28) give each plane a unique flying experience. The Corsair is definitely different-feeling compared to the other two. I think the Trojan flies best so far, with the Mustang being the most forgiving for newer fliers with it's very under-cambered wing for slower flight. Hopefully the price will come down again. I think I placed the first pre-order at Bang Good for one, and it was only $62 + $3 expedited shipping at that time. I'm surprised at how much it went up. Virus-related increase? Happy flying!
Looks ideal for keeping in the boot of my car (or trunk for you guys!) , I've seen all the planes this week advertised here and there and wondered if they would actually be any good, the first four I'm glad I didn't bother with but this looks really good. Thanks Saylors.

There is no comparison between this awesome T-28 mini RC plane and the other budget planes you reviewed this week. Those should be in the under $35 toy category, but this one is different, I own many Volantex and Eachine Mini models and they are quality RC planes, most in the $75-90 range.
I like the fact that the video compression was trying so hard to reduce the file size that it just cuts the plane out of the picture altogether sometimes

I bought the little Mustang based on your review. I can't imagine more fun for the price. It flies so much better than the other 3 "cheap" airplanes I bought previously. The T-28 looks awesome. May have to buy the PNP version and use the transmitter from the Mustang. All 3 of these little planes use the same transmitter.

@@TheRcSaylors I was interested to get a drone (the mavic mini) but with all the rules and the new laws requiring registration of all drones no matter the weight and especially having to take a knowledge test I have abandoned the drone idea. My question are the rules with rc planes the same or is there more leeway where you don't have to register or take the knowledge test, if so i will give up that idea too. Hope someone with good knowledge if not the Saylors answers ( Steve - Linda's husband )
Re-read the requirement, if you have a drone under 250 grams and fly recreational you are not required to register only those flying under 107 they have to regardless of weight but recreational the requirement is for above 250 grams, so mavic mini here we come. I've gotten the P51D Mustang out of this Eachine "The Legend War Bird series" and it's really fun to fly. And birds seem to think so too, as at one point during an early evening flight I had some swallows follow the Mustang around in the sky for a while, which was awesome to see! :-) Super easy to fly, so highly recommended!
I called it ! 😉 I already have the Mustang and the Corsair but, the Trojan is on my wishlist from when they first listed it. It is just that my wishlist is rather long these days, LoL. I will get one though.
I found one of these for $85. What a great flier! I've only flown a 2ch and simulators and it flew beautifully starting on intermediate. The only hard part is landing when the battery gets low. I need to set a timer or something!
Great little plane! It's pretty well balanced. Slightly tail heavy w/o the landing gear on but much less so than the P51. Last time out it was twitchy but it was windy and in the crosswind leg of the circuit. But it still flew great!
How does the T28 fly compare to the P51 and the F4U? Would be nice if Eachine can also release other mini RTF EPP warbirds such as A6M Zero, Me-109, Spitfire, etc.!!!
I'd love to see those released too! The T28 flies amazingly well for such a small bird. Ours had some sort of small twitch in one of the ailerons, but guessing that is an isolated occurrence. Either way, it is there. Flies great though, despite that small issue. Hope this helps! 👍😀⚓😎
Got mine finally, 1st RC fight ever for me. Flies great, fun.. exhilarating! Survived 3 hard landings and a crash into a chain link fence at full speed.
I maidened my VolantexRC (Eachine) T-28 and P-51 today. Both were excellent, but the T-28 was nearly flawless. I had a bad experience with a Sport Cub 500 that kind of put me off of this brand but this video convinced me to give it another try. The net result is that my first real flight after a 30 year hiatus was with the T-28 and it was as docile as any trainer I've ever flown. I couldn't be happier.
@@angelofechter5666 It has lost it's connection to the transmitter several times while in flight. Range isn't the issue because it's fairly close when it happens. The motor will go full throttle and none of the control surfaces will respond. Fortunately each time it's happened it's been fairly low and just eventually hits an orange tree in the orchard I fly in. If I had been at any significant altitude I'm sure it would just fly off never to be seen again. So, I don't put it in the air anymore.
@@KS6DAY haha im glad you still have it then! Might be manufacturing issue. Either way i ordered t28 as my first plane because that was the cheapest i found. How does it feel to fly the t28 in comparison to the sport cub 500?
@@angelofechter5666 The T-28 is better than the my Sport Cub 500 in every way. It was more stable in flight, more responsive to control input and very smooth and quiet. The guy I was flying with commented that it was nearly silent in flight when I did low passes. I'm guessing the prop was just a good match. Overall though, I love the T-28. Having said that I'm betting there are a lot of good Sport Cub 500's out there. I think I just got a dud. That does happen in any kind of manufacturing.
I bought two of these. I lost the first one cause it flew out of radio range. Then got another two weeks later. One of the most fun planes I have. I got the first one about 3 years ago. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in rc planes hobby.
@@beyersbrink7411 the corsair for sure. It's slightly easier to see in my opinion. I've also had it go straight into a fence and was able to toss it back out immediately. Also if I remember correctly, the battery compartment is slightly bigger so you can have a bigger battery than what comes with it
I recently got mine, ordered when it was still in pre-order status, and yeah I love it! I got it because the pre-order was way cheaper than the Corsair or P51. After watching your other videos on those two I was pretty excited and the Trojan didn't disappoint. I want to add the others, but I hope the price will come down a bit. And of course I hope to find a way to fly them with my Jumper if possible.

@@HM-ke1qm good to know. I'm using this one as a beginner plane just to get use to the basics. But I'm looking to upgrade to something bigger. 800mm to 1200mm. I got a TX16s so I'm pretty invested into the hobby. Figured I'd get more value out of a bigger model next.
All the nay sayers on the deals, I went through link, $85.58 delivered, Please keep in mind once at banggood one needs to click the USA it is $79.99 Through the US shippers and $106ish through the CN shipper, close to $130ish after shipping. For the second time I followed the link picked US shipper, Now I have NOT had a ton of luck with their links, USUALLY I am LATE. Oddly enough this has been the second time I have caught a great deal. I caught the p51 for about $76 and just a couple of bucks to ship. Shortly after banggoods flash sale they were over a hundred. The t28 is $89 today 5/24/21 but during the flash sale it was $72. These are relaxing fliers and easy on the nerves of a new at fixed wing pilot.
Way to go guys you can't do better than these eachine mini war birds. I swear by them they may be a little bit expensive but there worth the money . So easy to fly and the flight times are incredible. I got all three of these they should make more. Another plane you could review or maybe you have reviewed is the XK edge 430 a little more expensive but looks like a grate plane .cheers!
I have the p-51 and corsair the corsair so far my favorite :) dark blue out the yellow nose and also yellow tips on props :) PLEASE Eachine, zero, bf 109, spitfire, hellcat, fw 190, p-40 warhawk, p-38 ?????? PLEASE :) :)
Very nice. Besides the good stuff that you mentioned in the video I really like how it appears to fly to scale. Could it have flown "beginner" slow without stalling? As a beginner myself I would caution any new flyer against getting any plane that must be flown fast in order for it to stay in the air.
I desperately WANT one of the corsair or mustangs...but I can't afford em. Disabled with no disposable income whatsoever... :( even worse, the quad i built is busted so I can't fly anymore until I manage to fix it again. I use fpv as a way to experience freedom of moving around since my body doesn't do it so well. Do you think a nano fpv setup would be able to be fitted to one of these? They fly so beautifully... I might be able to pawn my wedding ring from when I was married (wife left me in May anyway...) and buy one.

Nate and Abby and family I really liked this week do to the fact that I fly and am a real Pilot without the ability to fly in General Aviation at this time. As far as cost goes I have bought many planes that you have recommended. At this price point I like the Carbon Cub2 it is close and is only $129 on sale with remote. I know that that plane is one of your favorite planes, for you two to fly at the same time. For the extra $ I wold spend the extra $30.00 due to they ship for free Horizon is whom I am talking about. Also thank you for the Turbo Timber I really love that plane and the Valiant and the old school P-51 that is no longer for sale. GOD bless you and your family you are livening a wonderful dream. And thank you as I have never got something that I didn't like that you two recommended.
I preordered my T-28 July 19th and they say I should have it by Sept. 15th. Arrrrrr! How did you get yours so 'fast'? The first part of the week was a total bust, but the T-28 is an obvious winner. I have the P-51 and the F4U but I don't believe I will be ordering any more from Banggood until they get back on track. Still waiting for the replacement prop shaft for my P-51 and some spare props too. A little virus crippled the entire world. Nice video as usual and enjoyable. Stay well.
So embarrased. This T-28 was given to me as a gift and .. it's gone. My first experience with RC but I am a private pilot. So how hard can it be. First flight it was pretty windy. Crashed it and prop came off. Snapped the prop back on and flew it for a a couple minutes and the prop came off in flight. I was able to recover but because of wind stopped flying. A week later with my daughter and grandkids went for flight 2. Not windy at all. Launched and it flew great. Apparently did not have it in beginner mode because it was a bit erratic. And it gradually got higher and higher and further and further a way. Apparently there were winds aloft. Before I realized it I was having trouble seeing its orientation despite trying to bring it back it then it disappeared. I cut the throttle and had no idea how far away it was. Went looking and never found it. Really bummed but thinking of buying another one. I wonder if they sell just the plane? I've got the transmitter still.
Sorry but they don’t sell bnf they only sell rtf a suggestion you help you out though is that the 700mm volantex p51 can be pnp and you can just buy the reciever and use the remote to fly it. Hope this helps!

Eachine Trojan is nice! I got mine in a week ago! I really like Eachine RC stuff, good prices! And its good for beginners! I got the warbirds collection going with Eachine, waiting on the new Jet now! ☠️🐾🐾🐾🖖 Semper Fi God Speed 🇺🇸 Only thing i wish Eachine would come out with is a really nice hobby grade separate transmitter for these planes! One transmitter for all there warbird planes BNF!

Update, the Trojan is the easiest of the two I got. Not that the corsair is hard, the Trojan is fine with slow speed. The corsair tends to wanna drop if you get too slow. Definately enjoying the t28

The trojan started doing this weird shimmy when leveling out via the auto stabalization, easy exchange with amazon though, hope the second one doesnt start.

I flew my 1st p51 into a tree...bought another one then ts Isaias blew thru and now I have 2!
This is a nice plane. I have the P51 but I think I like this Trojan better. And thanks you two, it was a fun week and a great idea!
I have flown the P51 with FPV, it handled the weight, Corsair and T28 did not. That said the later 2 are a bit faster, IMHO.
Have it, love it! Took some weight to balance it out, but what a nice flyer.

Got mine finally, 1st RC fight ever for me. Flies great, fun.. exhilarating! Survived 3 hard landings and a crash into a chain link fence at full speed.
I maidened my VolantexRC (Eachine) T-28 and P-51 today. Both were excellent, but the T-28 was nearly flawless. I had a bad experience with a Sport Cub 500 that kind of put me off of this brand but this video convinced me to give it another try. The net result is that my first real flight after a 30 year hiatus was with the T-28 and it was as docile as any trainer I've ever flown. I couldn't be happier.
Hey what was so bad about the sport cub in your opinion?
@@angelofechter5666 It has lost it's connection to the transmitter several times while in flight. Range isn't the issue because it's fairly close when it happens. The motor will go full throttle and none of the control surfaces will respond. Fortunately each time it's happened it's been fairly low and just eventually hits an orange tree in the orchard I fly in. If I had been at any significant altitude I'm sure it would just fly off never to be seen again. So, I don't put it in the air anymore.
@@KS6DAY haha im glad you still have it then! Might be manufacturing issue. Either way i ordered t28 as my first plane because that was the cheapest i found. How does it feel to fly the t28 in comparison to the sport cub 500?
@@angelofechter5666 The T-28 is better than the my Sport Cub 500 in every way. It was more stable in flight, more responsive to control input and very smooth and quiet. The guy I was flying with commented that it was nearly silent in flight when I did low passes. I'm guessing the prop was just a good match. Overall though, I love the T-28. Having said that I'm betting there are a lot of good Sport Cub 500's out there. I think I just got a dud. That does happen in any kind of manufacturing.

I bought two of these. I lost the first one cause it flew out of radio range. Then got another two weeks later. One of the most fun planes I have. I got the first one about 3 years ago. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in rc planes hobby.
Actually showing crash ..then flying right after is best review possible...very few rc planes can do this without little to serious repairs..
I think it's better without the zoom. Gives us a better perspective of how the plane looks out and about.
Love the plane. I don't mind the lack of zoom. I just switched to my laptop and used my zoom. Thanks for your efforts.
Literally bought all cause of you guys. Even got the eachine f-22. That lil bugger is shifty for sure but flies fast for the small prop

@@beyersbrink7411 the corsair for sure. It's slightly easier to see in my opinion. I've also had it go straight into a fence and was able to toss it back out immediately. Also if I remember correctly, the battery compartment is slightly bigger so you can have a bigger battery than what comes with it
I recently got mine, ordered when it was still in pre-order status, and yeah I love it! I got it because the pre-order was way cheaper than the Corsair or P51. After watching your other videos on those two I was pretty excited and the Trojan didn't disappoint. I want to add the others, but I hope the price will come down a bit. And of course I hope to find a way to fly them with my Jumper if possible.
Cool indoor flyer for the winter. It should be able to fly in a gymnasium.

@@HM-ke1qm good to know. I'm using this one as a beginner plane just to get use to the basics. But I'm looking to upgrade to something bigger. 800mm to 1200mm. I got a TX16s so I'm pretty invested into the hobby. Figured I'd get more value out of a bigger model next.
Only issue is Banggood delivery time. I ordered an in stock helicopter and it took 11 weeks to arrive!

All the nay sayers on the deals, I went through link, $85.58 delivered, Please keep in mind once at banggood one needs to click the USA it is $79.99 Through the US shippers and $106ish through the CN shipper, close to $130ish after shipping. For the second time I followed the link picked US shipper, Now I have NOT had a ton of luck with their links, USUALLY I am LATE. Oddly enough this has been the second time I have caught a great deal. I caught the p51 for about $76 and just a couple of bucks to ship. Shortly after banggoods flash sale they were over a hundred.
The t28 is $89 today 5/24/21 but during the flash sale it was $72.
These are relaxing fliers and easy on the nerves of a new at fixed wing pilot.
Way to go guys you can't do better than these eachine mini war birds. I swear by them they may be a little bit expensive but there worth the money . So easy to fly and the flight times are incredible. I got all three of these they should make more. Another plane you could review or maybe you have reviewed is the XK edge 430 a little more expensive but looks like a grate plane .cheers!

Very nice. Besides the good stuff that you mentioned in the video I really like how it appears to fly to scale. Could it have flown "beginner" slow without stalling? As a beginner myself I would caution any new flyer against getting any plane that must be flown fast in order for it to stay in the air.
This Trojan and the P51D di cab fly pretty slow, just need to speed up a bit while taking turns.😉
I desperately WANT one of the corsair or mustangs...but I can't afford em. Disabled with no disposable income whatsoever... :( even worse, the quad i built is busted so I can't fly anymore until I manage to fix it again. I use fpv as a way to experience freedom of moving around since my body doesn't do it so well.
Do you think a nano fpv setup would be able to be fitted to one of these? They fly so beautifully... I might be able to pawn my wedding ring from when I was married (wife left me in May anyway...) and buy one.

Nate and Abby and family I really liked this week do to the fact that I fly and am a real Pilot without the ability to fly in General Aviation at this time. As far as cost goes I have bought many planes that you have recommended. At this price point I like the Carbon Cub2 it is close and is only $129 on sale with remote. I know that that plane is one of your favorite planes, for you two to fly at the same time. For the extra $ I wold spend the extra $30.00 due to they ship for free Horizon is whom I am talking about. Also thank you for the Turbo Timber I really love that plane and the Valiant and the old school P-51 that is no longer for sale. GOD bless you and your family you are livening a wonderful dream. And thank you as I have never got something that I didn't like that you two recommended.

I preordered my T-28 July 19th and they say I should have it by Sept. 15th. Arrrrrr! How did you get yours so 'fast'? The first part of the week was a total bust, but the T-28 is an obvious winner. I have the P-51 and the F4U but I don't believe I will be ordering any more from Banggood until they get back on track. Still waiting for the replacement prop shaft for my P-51 and some spare props too. A little virus crippled the entire world. Nice video as usual and enjoyable. Stay well.

So embarrased. This T-28 was given to me as a gift and .. it's gone. My first experience with RC but I am a private pilot. So how hard can it be. First flight it was pretty windy. Crashed it and prop came off. Snapped the prop back on and flew it for a a couple minutes and the prop came off in flight. I was able to recover but because of wind stopped flying. A week later with my daughter and grandkids went for flight 2. Not windy at all. Launched and it flew great. Apparently did not have it in beginner mode because it was a bit erratic. And it gradually got higher and higher and further and further a way. Apparently there were winds aloft. Before I realized it I was having trouble seeing its orientation despite trying to bring it back it then it disappeared. I cut the throttle and had no idea how far away it was. Went looking and never found it. Really bummed but thinking of buying another one. I wonder if they sell just the plane? I've got the transmitter still.
Sorry but they don’t sell bnf they only sell rtf a suggestion you help you out though is that the 700mm volantex p51 can be pnp and you can just buy the reciever and use the remote to fly it. Hope this helps!

Eachine Trojan is nice! I got mine in a week ago! I really like Eachine RC stuff, good prices! And its good for beginners! I got the warbirds collection going with Eachine, waiting on the new Jet now! ☠️🐾🐾🐾🖖 Semper Fi God Speed 🇺🇸 Only thing i wish Eachine would come out with is a really nice hobby grade separate transmitter for these planes! One transmitter for all there warbird planes BNF!

Have you noticed a weird shimmy when it returns to level even in low wind. Like a dog shaking water off. The ailerons flutter.

Update, the Trojan is the easiest of the two I got. Not that the corsair is hard, the Trojan is fine with slow speed. The corsair tends to wanna drop if you get too slow.

The trojan started doing this weird shimmy when leveling out via the auto stabalization, easy exchange with amazon though, hope the second one doesnt start.
