Over the years I have found great hope, inspiration and strength in learning more about the profound history of the Jewish people for millennia. The challenges they have had to face, the insurmountable odds and perilous adversities they have had to overcome in life and yet they have never given up hope of a better future, they have perservered and been steadfast in their resolve, and have always been able to get back up again onwards to victory, to more than just survive but to thrive.
The very best fruits of Modern civilisation that many people benefit from and often take for granted, owes much to the Jewish people and the foundations their essential contributions to modern civilisation have provided.
The least we can do is to give Israel unconditional support, understanding and solidarity when it is required in a time such as this. That is what true love does.
