Hey Bob I moved out of Gulfport about 5 yrs. Ago but as I was living there and working on cars and race cars there's a driveline shop there. I don't remember the name but if you go down 49 and turn up to go into the train depot in Gulfport go around the back and the line of brick buildings that I'm sure once was part of the depot. Anyway his shop was in one of those buildings. I had him build a few driveshafts for me and he was really reasonable and did awesome work. He balances and does all work for shafts. You have time go check out and see if he's still there. I know it's alot cheaper and closer too than Speedway. Have a good holidays and see you in the next video!
Im in the winter mode in my shop too. Hooked up some power windows and door poppers this last few weeks . Pulling the body to do brake lines and gas lines . Cant for spring. Stay warm brother. Thanks
Hey Bob, "Love this rod". I love everything you create. I wish I could do what you do. Just too old, 89 now and no money is the reason. Watching you makes me jealous. I told you before, I was a teenager in the 50s when you could buy any classic for $150.00. to $200.00. LOL That was a lot of money in THE GOOD OLD DAYS. I drove nothin but classics in my younger years. Later on I turned towards airplanes. I love Airplanes too.
You’re very good at rebuilding transmissions I have a c6 that needs freshening up it might be asking to much to put that video in the form of a tutorial. Its a lot of work filming and editing and I appreciate all that you do
winter time lmao. im on the shores of lake Erie with a wind chill today of -2°. i see sun and leaves out the window..its a white desert here lol..be safe , and careful.. need many more vids
If it's too short, the yolk will bottom out on the tail shaft which is even worse. Plus, you wouldn't be able to install it. This one happens to be just the right length.
Bob that's poor on the part of Speedway or the driveshaft company not installing the rear U-joint you wanted. I think they should send you the correct one and not having you to buy one.
Bob i would call speedway make them send you the correct yoke at that price i would send it back to them didn't you want the big cap ends on both ends of the shaft? Well Bob you and your son and red have a good Christmas
Man no customer service thanks Ai one simple note that could be read , interpreted, and applied but fake intelligence….. Ruined the fact that you did the research so what you ordered Fit….. sorry Bawb I feel tour pain .😮
Working in the cold is a real drag, we get slush, there is nothing worse if you on the ground. Merry Christmas to you and all yours Bob 👍

Happy holiday bob.
Looking Good!
Good stuff, Bob. You do damn good work. Even though it's one of those damn fords, lol. Great work, Sir 🇺🇸 🇺🇲
Crazy goood Bawwb😊
that big ford looks right at home in that thing
i just looked up on Summit Racing they have a Universal Joint, 1310 Conversion, I never had to mess with that stuff. You learn stuff everyday!
Spicer 5-7439x is the part#.
If the gap is over 1 1/4” at the rear yoke with the front yoke fully seated is too far. It’ll wear the tail shaft bushing and seal if it’s too short.
If it's too short, the yolk will bottom out on the tail shaft which is even worse. Plus, you wouldn't be able to install it. This one happens to be just the right length.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!😎
Do what you gotta do Bob have a great December bud ok later ❤💪🏼🏁🎅🇺🇸
Merry Xmas Mr. Bob!
Looks awesome Bob, just a shame you can't find good help anymore, people just don't pay attention to what you need
Bob you got a dam gocart with a big block Ford in it 😅😅😅😅
Very 😎
Looks good I thought that body would be heavier or y'all just strong.😊
You can get a winter grade fibreglass resin
What size are the rear wheels and tires. Great information.
Looking good BOB . 🤓🤠
At $400, I guarantee I wouldn't be spending a dime on the correct U-Joint. They would be!
Will the yoke on the drive shaft fit the B U-joint cap?
thats what I was wondering
The Ford big cap 1310 ... spicer part# 5-7439x ... only has two of the caps that are bigger. The other two are standard 1310.
Did you get a puppy bob. Might be more help than red
Bob that's poor on the part of Speedway or the driveshaft company not installing the rear U-joint you wanted.

Whose dog is that? He looks like he wants to help.

Why don’t you send Red to Miami
Give that dog a wrench 😂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Bob!
iv got a c-6 out of a 78 ford f-150 2wd ,, but it don't have those ribs on the top like yours, what's the deal??
This one is an earlier model.
