+G SAR That's adorable! They do tend to gravitate to certain birds. Mine are much the same. Coco loves Marnie, the blue Indian Ringneck that has some extremely popular videos on here.
hi, i have one, and when i hand him, he hold on my finger so tight and make a pain for me, he is afraid to fall down. now I'm handing him for 7 days 10 minutes a day. Question: how can i make him relaxing on my hand?
It all takes a lot of time and patience in developing trust with any parrot. I was lucky enough to be home with Coco 24/7, so I handled him all day long. He also bit quite hard for the first while. Don't show fear. If you show fear, they will play off of that, lunge and bite every chance they get. I recommend you join a few good parrot pages on Facebook, maybe even just begin by searching for some Indian Ringneck pages. Lots of like minded and experienced bird handlers on FB. Best of luck to you!
My ringneck eye pins but hes always nasty when hes doing it. I have heard it can mean good or bad ahaha. Wish my boy was friendly :( he talks and sounds super cute
This is my bird of choice and one day I will get one but im waiting for the right moment in my life so I am 100% ready to take one on ;) I love them ;)
i've been trying to find these type of birds in my area but i cant find them! does anyone know a breeder that sends their birds to the middle east specifically qatar ( a country close to dubai ) this bird is so damn cute and i've been searching for AGES
I had someone else comment on another video that they are banned in many areas of the middle east. This may be why you are having difficulty finding one.
Some do and some don't in my experience. Coco is more of a shoulder boy, whereas my Quaker, Kiki is one to sit on my finger. Repetition, building trust and treats really help!
I have worked from home since the day I adopted Coco, so he has had constant human interaction. I also use a carefully selected compilation of bird videos I've chosen from TH-cam that I play for my birds when I am not able to spend that one on one time with them. Repetition and a keen ear are key.
Unless you know the person you are meeting up with and that they have properly vetted their birds, also not exposed them to others that may not have been properly vetted, I would not recommend. Whenever you introduce new birds into your home it is recommended that they be quarantined for such time that allows proper vetting. For personal reasons (I lost a 6 month old Congo African Grey to Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease), I do not socialize my birds with others and am very careful about re-entry into my home and handling of my own birds after I have been around or handled others.

Coco pins his eyes when he's thinking. It's seldom he's aggressive, but he can be a little beaky at times.

Is coco a Lorikeets bird ?
Coco is an Indian Ringneck Parakeet.
I have a question does coco have any other friends and my ring neck parakeet and coco should meet up no?
