Nice list! I admire how you provide succinct yet compelling descriptions for each film. It strikes a nice balance, offering just enough insight to pique the interest of those who haven't yet experienced some these movies without giving anything crucial away. While I've seen some of the movies on your list, some I haven't even heard of but will definitely be seeking them out. Keep up the good work.
Kinda funny how basically all of these are in my best of the year too (although I have unfortunately not yet watched Fallen Leaves and Godzilla minus one) yet your top 2 fell flat for me. I think that's me though. Overall it was a pretty incredible year, there's more than one movie that had me in tears that didn't even make my top 10.
FALLEN LEAVES MENTIONED ❤❤🇫🇮🇫🇮 I'd love to hear your opinions on other Aki Kaurismäki movies, he has such a beautiful filmography (I'm going through it rn and he's becoming my favorite director)

Asteroid City was my movie of 2023. I think it will be seen in the future as one of his best pictures. It may just be my favorite movie.

Have a wonderful day 💜
2 of my 3 favourite movies in the honorable mentions, I'm out
I agree with the last chunk of Oppenheimer being the best chunk of the film. It was easily the most interesting section of the film to me personally.
