this is crazy because i feel like you are the only other person i've seen who understands this film on the same level that I do.

I love Wes Anderson films. I saw a few seconds of the trailer in a lobby and knew it was his movie without any dialog or the title shot and thought, Oh, I need to see his new film! Loved his work for years! I streamed it and while it was a bit confusing, the balcony scene with Margot Robbie, tied some of it together. I thought she had such a small part but her presence and their connection was so honest. The burial scene with the grandfather and the kids was also poignant. That one scene where the grandfather breaks and yells out of frustration, when he did that, I felt that. If the nuclear explosions are referencing how things can just explode and how do we deal with it, I guess that's the metaphor and the reason for its inclusion. Thanks for your analysis.

Anybody feeling tired of seeing lame AI film parodies should really check out the fan-made Wes Anderson style X-Men trailer. It's a real video, filmed with actual humans, and it's just so refreshing to watch after all this AI schlock. I think it pays homage to his style pretty well, and it looks like it was actually fun to film.
That's one thing AI can never give us; the fun and satisfaction of actually working on a project.

Once again, an absolutely fantastic analysis. I felt strangely connected to the film when I first watched it, and you put into words why I do. Masterfully done!

AC seemed to me the most personal film so far of his career. It is the view of a middle age man worried about his legacy and mortality and looking for peace in the fact he will die and all that will be left his what he creates.

I like watching them because it's just cool to see how far the technology has come. But I don't think anyone really thinks it can replace actual artists. However, It can be a great tool for smaller creators and artists who cannot afford to make these very expensive movies.

I watched it twice… I don’t get it at all but maybe it’s just me.
