  • Dear friends
Thanks to many of you who commented that my presentation pace is acceptable although a few still feel otherwise. No hard feelings, if for whatever reasons you are uncomfortable with my videos but yet want to locate all my food recommendations, you can skip me completely. Copy the google links that I’ve provided in every episode, here you can easily access the locations, contacts, maps and even reviews. Meanwhile please go out and support our street food, be it in Penang or in PJ. Thank you and see you in the next.

hi uncle Elmo, i used to live in Penang for 7 yrs back in the nineties and food quality was better during those days. No cutting corners or putting profit first ! So in that sense, i am rather fortunate to have eaten a lot of Penang's classic dishes.

Me & my family couldnt believe the food in Gurney Drive was so bad. We went there 4 years ago, the food was bad. They charged my lougong RM35 for a bottle of sugar cane juice. We ended up the next night driving to Eden restaurant to have steaks. Other small kopitiam near kek lok si, char kuey teow was very good.

For me, Penang is the best place for Chinese food in Malaysia. Sure for Chicken rice, I prefer Singapore and BKT, Klang. Should have tried the Assam Laksa in Balik Pulau, it's awesome and Ghee Hiang biscuits are great too (and I am not even into biscuits) in your list.

Personally I think you are visiting the convenient and popular store. For the spirit of Penang Lang, we will choose to go to place that is tasty even it is inconvenience. Char Siew and wan tan in KL are much better, but the gravy of the Chulia street is one of the best in Malaysia. Come to Penang and try to visit around with local. You will find the differences. Anyway, I enjoy your video.
