you should do a follow up video showing the wear and patina on the case
Just bought this case for my iPhone 12. Did u notice at the bottom of your case that it didn't fit properly? With mine if I'm looking at the case from an angle there's a nice lip at the top and as I go towards the bottom of the case the lip gets lower as if it doesn't fit the phone property. Wondering if it's just my case or what. I love the feel & look so I'm kinda upset, my phone is almost hanging out of the bottom where it should hug the edges it's very weird. Very snug at the top and then barely fitting around my phone at the bottom 🤔
Hmm. Can’t speak to the iPhone 12 case personally. Haven’t had that issue with my iPhone 11 case. My iPhone 11 “slipped” into the bullstrap case pretty easily and was even on both Top & bottom. Sounds like a defective case, maybe shoot them a return request? :(
try out the company saddleback leather. I bought one for the Iphone 11 pro max, and it is easily the best leather case out there. straight leather...nothing else. Plus it will patina like no other leather case can

No lie I have the same Spigen case lol 😂 & was thinking about getting the same Leather case & that’s how I ended up here. Great Review can’t wait for the next video or Update on the Patena of the case. Also love the “ Wow “ sound effect is that from Fairy tale 🤔 😆
Yeah the Spigen is a great case still too! The bullstrap was a solid buy though and has held up well so far. Haha yes the sound is from Fairy Tale.
Do you know if you can wirelessly charge your phone if you get the credit card version with cards in the case? Great video
Wireless charging worked for me with the credit card case but only when I used cards that did were not equipped with a “contactless scanning feature”. I use a “Yootech” wireless charger.

Hello, i just have to completely be honest and say this, from my personal experience, this case developed a very bad bubbling/bruising from little water/oils on it. I honestly don’t recommend it, since i have Apples/nomad/bellroy/twelve south leather cases and they all held up fine, but this one seems subpar compared to other cases. Also, it feels like the sides of the cases are loose. They don’t completely “fit snug” and my problem with that is if it ever falls, it feels like it would be easy for the case to pop off on impact.
I spoke to customer service about my dissatisfaction with the case’s bruising and bubbling, and all they said was “it was the beauty of the leather material”. I told them I owned a couple of leather cases and none had such a dramatic bruising from just “wet hands” and all they did is repeat their “political answer”
What is your experience with this? Have you found some of the issues like mine?
Hi TheDEELAW, appreciate the honest first hand-experience. You seem to have more experience with more leather case products, but since my review of the case here's my thoughts to this point.
The Bullstrap Sienna "Classic case" for the iPhone 11 hasn't developed any bubbling/bruising from my hand oils or water exposure (sink/rain). The case is slightly looser than the Apple cases (not so lose though as to fall off if I dropped the case - I have dropped my phone from standing height 3-4 times.) It makes it slightly easier for me when I remove the case to clean the phone. The case does retain some scratches, change to a darker color (when exposed to water or oils), when I dropped the case the black paint on the side buttons scratched off and there are a few deep gashes on one of the corners of the case that dropped directly on the ground.
Summary:
Apple case Pros: Includes a plastic ridge around the rear-camera, the case covers the bottom of the phone's ports (might help to keep the case from falling off), stays consistent with Apple branding, MagSafe confirmed, Apple also is pretty forgiving with any return/exchange requests (haven't needed to make a return with Bullstrap yet)
Bullstrap Case Pros: if you have an iPhone 11 (apple doesn't seem to have a leather option for the base 11 model), easy to remove to clean your iphone, doesn't cover the bottom speakers (minor note), MagSafe compatible per website for the 12 but I've not tested it.

@@garrettjow I’m glad things went well with you, I always try to blame myself if something bad happened to my cases, but I couldn’t understand what was the bubbling issue. And the customer service didn’t help to resolve the issue but only sort of brush it off as “natural leather”. I honestly just wanted a solution to the problem. But I must say, the case looks good. And I may pre order the Sienna color, I’ll forgive this one since i have an iphone 11, and i’m doomed to third party cases.

i liked the bullstrap leather better than apple’s case. but the button covers are WAY better on apple’s.

Not on my IPhone specifically since I’ve used the case, just don’t recommend dropping it there😳
No bottom protection is a deal breaker for me. Nice leather though.
Will this protect the iPhone camera if it falls on floor ?
Mostly yes, the case forms a small “ridge” that just raises slightly above the iPhone’s rear cameras. If you dropped the camera specifically on a raised surface or rock then RIP I guess..
How’s the case been holding up for you so far? I’m on a fence in getting one. Great review btw.
Thank you! Pretty good so far. The case is slightly scuffed in places where I dropped my phone but the case is still holding up well. The color has changed a bit (regular leather patina.)

Is it better than the apple cases?
The leather is pretty much the same in quality as the Apple cases, buttons and openings are similar. Difference is mainly the logo
I can’t say for the IPhone 12 cases with MagSafe or with the card holder.

Are the bottoms going to be closed in the new iPhone 12 bull strap case?

Yeah, not the best design choice IMO. The Official Apple iPhone 11 (not 12) case also has the bottom open.

But my case does say “designed in Miami, Florida + Assembled in China.”
@@garrettjow - I was going to get one for my new iPhone 12max, but see saw that made in China is just like another other cases. Besides, I'm worries when made in China, they might have use cats or dogs skins. :(
@knguye11 - I’m not quite sure if they are actually “made” in China just that mine was “assembled” in China. It’s possibly they tan their leather in Italy and ship to China for assembly.
I sent a question to their customer service regarding this (will post their update).
@@garrettjow you are right. They tan their leather in Italy but assemble in China. Wish all production would have been done in Italy. Would give off that premium feel as Italy is known for their leather goods. Either way I like the case!

Good luck getting a refund from this company if your case gets lost in the mail by the post office they’ll just laugh in your face and say tough luck

I purchased one for my iPhone 12 mini in black !!! They sent me a brown one !!! No phone number to call customer service!!! Everything by email ! I would NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN ! You can by a COACH CASE ON AMAZON HSLF THE PRICE !!!!!
