The dark truth is that this is how Clark really felt. He just lost his inhibitions.
A lot validity in this statement. However, the other truth that comes with this is the fact not everything you feel defines who you actually are. How you act on your feelings is a big part of what shapes you (we all have "good" and "bad" internal feelings at the end of the day right?). So, it is still fair to say he wasn't "himself" but who we are does evolve, hence the validity of you statement 👌🏿

Yes, I noticed that to. I also like it. And also the fact that he chose not to aim his fist at Jonathan Kent when the latter was temporarily imbued with cryptonian powers. It means there is still good in the version of Clark Kent under the influence of red Kryptonite. Also, another important point is that he doesn't kill people. So he is bad, but not evil.

To all my brothers of different colors from different mothers: Let this be a example of what happens when you adopt the foolishness of dating or marrying a single mother. You will work tirelessly, sacrifice so much and those children will never love you like that. Most will unknowingly resent you because you didn't have enough respect for yourself to start your own family. Let this be a lesson that this thankless job of being a step dad will eventually break your heart and possibly... your body.
