Thank you for the review, so handy. Have played around many ways of using the portable espresso. Personally, I like a strong long black coffee, bitter the better. A few things I have found. Pod capsule coffee using a non OEM Espresso capsule, have found after numerous attempts that the outflow membrane is not being pierced enough, making a very weak coffee. Dont have access to the OEM Espresso capsules, not sure whether these have the same issue?. Then used the grind coffee basket option, also played around with varying grinds, finally needed a fine grind to get a good strong intense coffee, up there with a barista made coffee. Personally have experienced most long blacks to be a very hot coffee, the portable espresso for me makes a perfect temp hot coffee, but only of espresso size, not long black. Overall very happy, as I am in remote locations majority of the time, gets me as close as to the real thing.
Thanks for your feedback. I find non oem capsules have the same issue with proper coffee machines too. Especially if the membrane is plastic. I've tried illy classico ground coffee. It's a mild coffee but to my liking.
Nespresso have a patent on a seal along the inside lip of the pod which creates a pressurised extraction. 3rd party pods are not allowed to do this and thus produce a different extractionz
Thanks for the video. I brought one of these away with us after previously having the hand pump version from Anaconda. This is much better although took me half an hour to work out i needed to double tap. 😂 Should have watched your vid first! Pumped out some great coffee. No difference in taste or crema from our Nespresso machine at home.
Enjoy. Mine had a lot of use. It's been great. Don't do what I did and put boiling water in it. Recently the plastic cracked from the heat. I'll be buying another one soon 😢. I'll make sure the water has cooled a bit after boiling next time.
Illy Intenso pods with this machine were disappointing compared to using nespresso machine. Fresh coffee in this machine is ok, but i would be just as happy with Aero press or french coffee press, as it's not that great. Excellent when the power is off and you haven't had your morning coffee yet.
Cheers mate!! much appreciated as I couldn’t work out the button combo for heat water vrs hot water in. There is nothing in the instructions or packagaing that explains this.
Great video! Just one thing, while you paused the video it seems as if they water started leaking to the reservoir. Is this normal or was there an issue?
Hi, you can hold it over a cup. If you're doing an auto heat via the machine you'll be holding it up for a while however while the water boils. It only takes the standard nespresso capsules
I've tried multiple times to get this thing to work, but when I put the pod in and try to screw the base on, it's not screwing in as the base doesn't line up to be able to screw it on firmly. HELP!
Does it screw in place without the pod? With the pod in place, when screwing it on it compresses the pod to puncture it to allow the hot water to go through it. If it works without the pod but not with it, don't be scared to put some pressure to puncture it.
I can't say I've come across that issue. Have you tried a different cable and charging brick?? Also make sure the battery is seated properly. Might be something to chat to the manufacturer if that doesn't fix the issue
Any follow up on this issue? I've just got one for Christmas and have had it charging for about 2 hours but doesn't seem to work when I unplug it. Just flashes as Mohamed said
This might be a dumb question but the part of the machine where the coffee comes out of, is it meant to be screwed tight or loose - mines come abit loose and not sure hows it's supposed to be?
It's in between to be honest. It's warmer than luke warm. It's warm enough for me but for my wife she would like it hotter as it can cool down quickly in the cold outdoors.
I'll see what i can do. Will it be a deal breaker if it's not with coffee grounds? Don't have any on me. Cleaning is so easy. The small components only need a quick sponge and then rinse. I also run clean water through the machine once
Def not a deal breaker. Just would like to see it run coffee through. Anaconda has some mixed reviews. I’m tossing up this unit and the wacaco nanopresso
No problem. Most reviews I've seen for this unit have been positive. Two reasons why i went for this over the wacaco, 1 can do a large cuppa. At the time wacaco could only hold a small shot. Think there's a larger option for extra $$. Might be different now...2 the hand pumping is just not geeky enough for me :D
I wish people would not keep reviewing machines designed to give you good espresso on the move and not talk about how good the coffee is. It just makes me think the reviewer does not care as long as it produces something hot and coffee flavoured.and that is no help to me. Would you be able to say how it compares to your favourite coffee bar or a espresso machine? That gives me some sort of comparison.
Hi there... Using nespresso pods will never be like a coffee shop so it won't compare. If anyone says it's the same burn em on the stake! I prefer a coffee shop any day. Didn't add this in because I thought it's a given. I did mention to my wife a few days back we should try it with ground coffee but haven't had the chance yet.

I have just got the XI version with 100ml tank. Love these devices. Been looking for them for ages.

The instructions start on page 2, BUTTON OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS...Everybody missed them...

I had the same issue myself and took me a while to figure it out. Glad i could help
Thanks for the review, Im sold mate😃, picking 1 up tomorrow from Anaconda , cheers 🤙🏽
Awesome enjoy your new gadget!
Great video! Just one thing, while you paused the video it seems as if they water started leaking to the reservoir. Is this normal or was there an issue?
It's normal since I don't have a pod in the way. I don't have an issue while the coffee is in place. Great question and thanks for reaching out to ask
Hi, you can hold it over a cup. If you're doing an auto heat via the machine you'll be holding it up for a while however while the water boils. It only takes the standard nespresso capsules
No problem! That should work fine then. Enjoy!
you are rigth the battery is hard to if it have to at what I paid I can not find any I have asked Anaconda but not with any luck can someone help
Thanks mate. Perfect
It is possible to connect for regular android phone charger to make charging?? Or it is possible to use powerbank to charging?? Thanks advance 🙏😊
You sure can

I need solution : my machine isn’t charging and when i connect the charger it just keeps flashing

I haven't heard of any developments. Please keep us updated with yours though
Still didn’t catch a solution @geekydad8565
And yes i’ve tried another cable and charger but nothing works , leds keeps flashing but its not charging.
If you can give us a contact with the manufacturer please let us know.

Not a silly question at all. Mine screws in snuggly
@GeekyDad thanks for the reply, that's good to know! Going to start using it now 😅
Hi, is water really hot after heating or just lukewarm as some people wrote? Thanks
It's in between to be honest. It's warmer than luke warm. It's warm enough for me but for my wife she would like it hotter as it can cool down quickly in the cold outdoors.
Great video! Any chance you could do a video with coffee beans and Nespresso pod. Also how to clean it.
I'll see what i can do. Will it be a deal breaker if it's not with coffee grounds? Don't have any on me. Cleaning is so easy. The small components only need a quick sponge and then rinse. I also run clean water through the machine once

What’s the compatible Capsule size ? Please
Hi, it's what they call their "original" capsule. Others will not fit.
Can’t find anything vertuo compatibility @@japostolakis
@@veronicadehomersley1739 😞 not a capsule i use myself. Most of these devices usually will just use the original since it's the most popular
Nespresso essenza mini. I used the Illy Intenso. In Australia most of the coffee pods at Woolies are nespresso size....
Thanks for the valuable double tap - not in the instructions!
It's on page 2... With a big heading...look again
