    That treadmill moving bit just reminded me of Austin Powers. LOL.

    Have you tried moving the desk off the wall instead of against the wall maybe doing like a more middle of the room type of setup I have seen a few like that and they end up turning out great not sure if that would be another spot to try out?

      I thought about that or even adding another desk to make an L, but with the treadmill it just doesn’t leave much extra space.
      Once it’s downstairs that will probably be the way to go. Nice spot in the middle

    For an efficient but not-so-good-looking fix for the keyboard, just take out any key that you never use, such as F6, F7, numpads, and put it in the place of the Esc key. Your keyboard is mechanical and the keycaps are easily removable, just try to pull upwards a bit on one.

      That’s not a bad idea. I use the escape key way more than my pause break key. I’m going to do that right now

      @@JustinMiller_Tech May I also suggest a brand new key cap set for your keyboard? White shrine-through keycaps can really make LEDs pop, and your current keycaps look pretty worn. Great vid and super nice improvement :D

      Appreciate the comment and recommendation!
      The keyboard has seen better days. I got it in 2018, so its age is showing.

      The local library has some 3D printers! Would be fun to try it out and see the results

    Nice setup! Would you consider including a list of the gadgets and things in your video? I'm most curious about things like what is the desk you use and the chair. But you could also include things like what monitors you use, the monitor arms, stand for the Mac, computer specs etc. You don't need to mention it every video but in ones like this I know I would love a list of the items you use just for my own curiosity. EDIT: List in the description that is. You do list things off in the video but I'm referring to more of a copy and paste list into the description, with or without links for products.

    What monitor arm are you using?

      It’s the Amazon Basics (B07QTTNTFX) that is discontinued now. Seems they maybe used Ergotron parts? They were rated to 25 lbs which had no problem holding the 32 inch screen.

      Would you rather stack em or get a tv to mount above?

    Too many cables on the floor! :)

    • @JustinMiller_Tech
      @JustinMiller_Tech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know! I ordered a new power strip and some zip ties, but I think I’m about to get an under desk basket cause there are just so many! Option #2 was move into an ultrawide with a KVM switch and reduce 3 of the cables from the additional monitor

      @@JustinMiller_Tech Power strip under the desk is a good idea and the cable basket as well! An opaque one will keep things looking neat even when the desk is raised.
