Been using the exact Sihoo chair for 3 years now everyday for minimum of 5 hours. Really a great and comfortable chair for its price.
I can vouch for the chair in particular. I bought this over two years ago and have used it for two years WFH every day. My back is still working great.

I think for the perfect budget desk setup, some things should be bought on Amazon, and some of the main features of the setup, such as monitors, desk etc should be bought on a reputable website. However, your reviews have completely changed my mind on this. Especially with the desk. ❤

if there's one thing you wanna splurge on, definitely the monitor mount.
i bought a cheaper one like under 50, and it stripped almost immediately so i could never even touch my monitor without it sagging even though the mount was rated to be very capable of holding up what i've got(which is just a 27in samsung g5, well within size and weight limits of what i bought).

I too have a Flexispot desk that is pretty great all around, especially for the price. However, I would caution people away from the black desk top. It is an absolute fingerprint and smudge magnet. It drives me nuts.
Currently running FlexiSpot E5 Pro, Nuphy Air 96, Logitech MX Master 3S mouse, Fully Jarvis single arms with 2 Walmart onn monitors for WFH setup. FlexiSpot electric lift has slown down over a year of use but still gets the job done. Other than that no complaints with any of these products

I have a corsair wireless mouse with qi charging and with a monitor stand with wireless charging, it is so useful to just place it on there whenever I am done.
Ok great video. Stunning clean desk setup. Im not a fan of black style so i wouldnt by most of them. I do agree buying your own custom wood as it would be best option plus you can customize it with polish etc to last much much longer. What caught my eye was the chair. Looked exactly like those ergonomic chairs premium cost of a budget 500+. Very calm and entertaining video.
Sihoo is slowly becoming a strong brand of ergonomic chairs in SE Asia (In the Philippines at least)

Not sure if you will see this but i bought showroom furniture off the floor at a price discount and they did use black marker on black areas that were scratched to hide the marks - though in our case we knew it was there, so maybe someone at the factory scratched it and wanted to hide it!

I bought the desk, and I highly recommend the desk if you suffer from back issues. Now my desk is clean and minimal

That desk is 1/2 the dbl levels of the normal smart blinds (looking at you, I think, well…I was…until it got really dark suddenly) Smart Wings🚫🪽!

Hey man, I’ve got the same monitor as you and also use the MacBook Pro (the one with the touch bar when they first released) however when I connect it via usb c the display doesn’t appear. Wondered if this was an issue you faced? Sick setup though dude
Might be the USB-C cable you’re using. Are you using one that came with the monitor? If not, you may need to purchase one from Amazon that can also handle data and DisplayPort.

Installed furniture for 25 years, the black marks are scratches, the factory colored them in to hide them. I've done it too many times to count, usually much better though. Flexispot is a very good standing desk though.

those permanant marker marks... are because. it was scratched, and someone tried to hide it.100% i see it done all the time when helping to redo decks and they have black metal railing, the railing got scuffed... out comes the spraypaint, if not that then the handy dandy marker.
Is ther an Australian version of that monitor stand. Doesnt seem to exist in Australian Amazon and all the other options look really bad.

There are cheaper electric desks I wonder if they're any good. I've tried the monitor mount with laptop mount, I thought the arm for laptop was terrible. Plus after mounting the monitor mount had a wierd bend idk. Didn't work out very well. I returned it.
there are many desks at 1/3 - 1/2 the price that works just fine. Most will not cange the hight of the desk so often. I used to work at an adjustable desk for years in a office but I just felt most comfortable sitting, with the desk at a fixed hight. I'm putting up a new home offie now and just use a fixed hight desk

You can use hand sanitizers to remove those permanent markers

If you have permanent marker on it you can put expo marker over it and use a paper towel to wipe it off
