iPhone 12/12 Pro: How to Create Webpage/Website Shortcut on Home Screen

There is an easier and faster way to do this, simply go to the website that you what to be added to your home screen, then click on the third button. Which looks like a square with a arrow in it pointing up, once you clicked it. Scroll down and find add to home screen and name what you want it to be called and boom finished.

EZ option: 1. Open Safari 2. Enter desired URL 3. Tap Share at bottom of page 4. Tap Add to Homepage 5. DONE!

@@WaaluigiBoard hey! I ended up making a post asking the iOS shortcuts subreddit. I replied to you before with the link to the shortcut some awesome person made me, but TH-cam deletes comments with links now (I assume to stop spam)
Anyway, if you go to r/shortcuts, and search “open copied link in Firefox focus” you should find the post I made, and someone in the comments sent me a link to a functional shortcut. We went through a few versions so it’s the last one in the comment chain.
From there, edit the shortcut, and then scroll to where it says “text” with a link, and change out firefox-focus for whatever browser you’re using.

@@WaaluigiBoardI keep replying to you, it seems to keep getting deleted…? I made a post to Reddit about this, titled it “open copied link in Firefox focus”. If you search that in the shortcuts subreddit, it should come up, and some very kind person in there made a functional shortcut. Took a few tries. If you download it, you can scroll down to “text” and edit the link by replacing “firefox focus” with whatever browser ur using. Hope it helps

Is there a way I don’t have to use Google to tap the flag to save a page then open safari to print the websites things I want to and open safari if I want to recall the page easier than Google to save in notes with a note or title I want and out in a folder because for several years now I have to use multiple website apps to get basic functions done on my iPhone that no single app will let me do?????
It’s ridiculous but having my family that’s all older to retired or know only basics about iPhones in the go to tech person for their problems which are always easy to fix they don’t do anything big or wrong to screw things up or need specific help to fix something. All my friends can’t afford iPhones and are android users that know nothing about iPhones or using them let alone resolve a problem…..

Yes. When u add the app, before you click done, just click on the app icon. It will be on the screen where u can add a name to the app
