Yes newer data shows that myopericytoma is molecularly different than glomus (despite having morphological overlap to my eye). It is closely related to myofibroma instead. I personally haven’t used the term glomangiomyoma so I’m not as familiar with it.
Please see a dermatologist or a hand surgeon so they can accurately diagnosis you and decide if any treatment is needed. Best wishes for health and healing.
A few questions: What is being done as far revolutionizing treatments for GVM? Do you think this condition has the ability to increase blood pressure and cause wide scale muscle issues assuming a scattered wide presence of GVM? Thanks!
@@JMGardnerMD Really appreciate the reply. I suffer from GVM, sporadic multiple. Sclerotherapy is highly ineffective. YAG laser is better but still ineffective. I couldn't believe this video was posted. My condition is so rare I've had such misery in trying to get help. Thanks again.
I suspect I MAY have multiple glomus tumors that have been misdiagnosed as bilateral bakers cysts and as inguinal dermatopathic lymphadenitis. However, I cant seem to find anyone who can help me rule out or confirm this possible explaination for my crippling pain. I've got the classic glomus tumor symptoms such as severe cold sensativity and point tenderness. The pain has made my life unbearable and for years I have not been able to receive any kind of explanation for my pain or help with treating it. Pleeease, is there any way you could help me confirm or rule out this possible diagnosis? Or point me towards somebody who could? I'd be totally willing to figure out a way to pay you for your input on this highly specialized subject.
I’m adding subtitles to more and more videos as I find time and volunteers to help me. Hopefully we will get to this one eventually. If you go to th-cam.com/video/Q88yDU-Pyis/w-d-xo.html and look in video description for glomus tumor and go to that part of video, you can see subtitles for this.

Glomus is a fancy neoplasm, very round uniform nuclei with blood vessels. I love it
I thought the spindly form of glomus is called glomangiomyoma and myopericytoma is sort of its own thing with a different genetic profile?

Great questions. I actually don’t know the answer to either, unfortunately. I only diagnose this disease microscopically. I do not treat it.

Sure where are you from?
can this tumor be associated woth tympanojugular glomus tumor ?
No. Tympanojugular glomus and glomus jugularus are actually misnomers. They are paraganglioma not true glomus.
Thank you sir.
Sir please give subtitles also....

I fractured my finger and later had glumos tumor In same area. Was it caused by the damage my finger took when I smashed it.
