    Dad bought Chayotes for the first time and we have no experience with it whatsoever. Searched up 'Chokos fruit', turned out to be known as Chayote) and found your recipe here. Made it for breakfast this morning. My parents loved it! Thank you so much for this recipe, definitely noting it down in my personal recipe notebook :D

    In the process of making this, thanks for the recipe. One thing that I'd like to add, chokos (chayotes) are much easier to peel if you cut them in quarters first, then cut the puckered end off at an angle to get rid of most of the skin, cut the end off, then half the quarters again. Use a vegetable knife to slice the skin off and the same knife to take out the crevices. That's if you want to peel them at all. :)
