Pre ordered 2024 GLC this past September and got it on 12/19. Honestly I already regret. Mine is an AMG with Pinnacle package, added on this and that and prepaid 4 years maintenance for $1995, the total was $71,000 and yet theres so many features that my $53,000 usd 2020 X3 has but 2024GLC hasn’t. Paid so much for an heads up display but it doesn’t show street’s speed limits anywhere, dash cam just picky on USB drive, tried 5 new ones only 1 was able to be recognized but 3 days after the screen shows that the USB is too slow so dash cam won’t start recording, WTF?!?! Never had any machine or computer doesn't read a fully formatted USB drive. Also BMW does 4 years maintenance for free, I don’t even have to go to the dealership, they always send a valet and deliver my car at my house when the services done. Not worth to have it. Mercedes should focus on practicality not fancy looking car but less functional.
Great video as always. I bought a brand new 2023 GLA 45 AMG a month ago and after 400 miles, check engine light was on. It is in the dealer for the past 8 days, with no ETF. They said all is good with the car, but it has some electrical problem that is false and triggers the check engine light for no reason. Now we are waiting on the engineers from Germany to guide our tech here in US. I am very disappointed. They gave me a loaner GLC 300 AWD with AMG performance pack. This includes the bigger and better Brembo brakes with drilled rotors. It stops excellent, and it drives great, it is just very slow and clumsy compared to my GLA 45 AMG. Can't wait for mine to be fixed.
I test drove and was about to buy a 2024 Mercedes GLC300 with AMG package but my wife hates the exterior look (I do too but I can live with it). Then she suggested looking at Cadillac. Be warned: Hello, are there any other customers with a GLC W254 (2023) -same goes for the GLC coupé or the 2023 C classe- with an incomplete the ambient lighting (despite having paid for the SA894 option)? FYI, The assembly plant runs out of LEDs (among others) and assembles the vehicles without installing the missing LEDs. (Air vents, door handles and central console edges) They deliver the NEW GLCs to customers and IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A RETRO-FIT NOR A REFUND. Quote Mercedes-Benz. This is how we are treated: "the customer just has to be happy to be able to pay a good price for a one of our vehicles..."
