- We lately converted a #Van for a customer with a lot of solid wood. The customer built some interior parts and decorations himself after we delievered the #campervan. So, enjoy our latest Van-Video!
Wir durften vor kurzem ein Van ( #T5 #VW ) für einen Kunden ausbauen. Es ist ein einfacher aber sehr stabiler Ausbau mit viel Massivholz. Mir persönlich gefällt das Täfer und der dunkle Boden sehr! Und wieder einmal haben wir unseren einzigartigen Wandklapptisch eingebaut. Die Kunden haben nach der Übergabe noch verschiedene Dinge selbst gebaut und ihren "Ätti" dekoriert. This is brilliant thank you for sharing. Well done. I am thinking about doing a very similar project and looking for someone to do this basic cabinetry build as I don't want any complexities in the van except a diesel heater. Is this something you can do and if so where are you based and what would you charge for a build such as this one? 👍🙏

Es gibt leider keine Anleitungen zu den Möbeln die wir bauen, da wir Camper-umbauten nach mass fertigen. Das heisst vieles ist speziell auf Kundenwünsche und Van Form direkt in unserer Werkstatt gefertigt. Wir bieten jedoch hilfe und coachings für Selbstausbauer an (Via Telefon/videocall oder vor Ort in Rapperswil in der Schweiz).

The Customer wanted a simple Camper without electricity Systems... so in this Camper there is no prepared Space for it. In other vans i build in Batteries etc.for example here: th-cam.com/video/dgz55L-Us24/w-d-xo.html
Nice conversion. But how do you ventilate?
There are a lot of possibilities for airflow. Open the front windows a bit, leave the door open or put a little hook in the rear door to let some Air in.

Ich überlege noch welches Holz ich nehme Fichte oder Multiplex,welcher es würdest du

Ja ich verwende viel Dreischichtplatten aus Fichte. Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich super! Wenn ich Multiplex verwende nehme ich meistens Birke... Dreischicht Fichte ist etwas leichter und günstiger als Birken Multiplex - dafür ist Multiplex etwas stabiler.
Pappel Multiplex ist leicht und stabil - dafür etwas teurer. Für mich ist deshalb 3Schicht häufig meine Wahl (-:

Sehr schön! Dennoch habe ich noch ne frage : wie viel wiegt so ein Bett und Seitenschrank aus Dreischichtplatte? Warum hast du dich überhaupt für Dreischichtplatte entschieden? Es gibt Materialien wie Pappelsperrholz in gleiche Stärke welche wesentlich leichter ist. Viele Grüße aus Berlin.
Ich habe diesen Ausbau nicht gewogen... aber das spezifische Gewicht von Pappelsperrholz ist mit ca 480kg/m3 nur sehr gering leichter als 3sp mit ca 500kg/m3 jedoch ist 3sp viel günstiger - preis/leistung (-:

This Bed in this van, from a customer, has the mesurements: 1.8m x 0.8m and folded out 1.8mx1.5m
Nice conversion, what did you use to hold the piece of wood in place on top of the seat that is used to make the bed?
Hey Stephen. Maybe i didn't got your question correct. But the wooden plate wich is used to extend the bed has two dowels that stick downwards a little out - and they fit in two holes in the lower plate. Greetings Teimi

Please may I ask; What is 'Armaflex', why did you remove the original insulation? Is this product better? Thanks
Armaflex is kinda "waterproof" so it is a lot better than stonewool that gets soaked with condens Water. And stonewool isn't "original" the previous owner put it in (-:
Wieso habt ihr die alte Isolierung raus genommen?
Steinwolle kann Wasser aufnehmen und ist deshalb nicht geeignet in Vans (wird grau)
Also wenn ich mal ganz ehrlich bin, sieht es für mich wie ein Hasenstall aus aber wenn das der Kunde so wollte 🤷
