- Kane Returns as Jason Voorhees! Go behind the scenes at Digital Domain on the set of the motion capture shoot for Friday the 13th: The Game to witness what it takes to build a title like this. The Friday the 13th team is excited to pull back the curtains and show off every phase of development that we can. See kills designed by Tom Savini being performed by Kane, including the infamous "Sleeping Bag Kill" from Part VII!
Kane is joined by Tarah Paige and Ryan Staats. Tarah plays the female camp counselors and she's done motion capture/acting in games in the past. She's best known for her work playing Lara Croft in the last two Tomb Raider titles. Ryan handles dying at the hands of Kane quite well while playing the male counselors for Friday the 13th: The Game.

I love people like Kane. An actor that isn't just in it for the cash grab, they're in it for the fans and the fact that they love them. The fact he participated as Jason in so many films and even volunteered to star in Freddy VS Jason just shows how loyal he is to the fan base.

When you get right down to it, THIS is the reason why Kane Hodder should be considered the best Jason Voorhees. Not only did he reprise the versions he played from New Blood to what would have been Uber Jason had that lawsuit not happen, but he had to carry the added weight, trying to go against his own usual movements in an effort to imitate his predecessors. From CJ Graham to Warrington Gillette. Of course he also had to pretend to be Roy Burns as well. This guy was not just some stuntman, that is literal acting range.
This is awesome, I love watching these types of things.

sad to see this game die this year at december 31st. wish this game couldve been something better without the lawsuits to take them down. this made the game more interesting to see an OG Voorhees play the actual jason for the game animations. Rest easy Friday the 13th the game

I'll tell you one thing Kane probably this more because there was no makeup so he could have more fun with it you know not dealing with all the makeup on his face and not dealing with not having the peripheral vision he set out of his right eye so you could tell he had more fun with this and yeah it just goes to show there's a hell of a lot of working making these games that people don't seem to realize there was that much going on they do these so you realize how much really goes into these video games that we all love so much it's a lot of work and it may look stupid and cheesy but in the end it works.

You should make a female version of Tommy, so when someone dies Tommy and whatever that girl's name would be could come back and give the remaining survivors double the advantage
Tommy has apparently been in 3 of the Friday the 13th films and has slain Jason on atleast one occasion. I don't know of any female characters that have had a track record as big as his(haven't really seen any of the movies, so correct me if there are any) and making up a new character would be kinda dumb.
Simon No, there hasn't been a female Tommy in any the movies, that is correct. But the reasoning for my statement is because when people come back as Tommy, 50% of them (for what I've experienced) don't help the remaining survivors and just escape, I don't know about you or anyone else but that honestly gets on my nerves hardcore. I suggested something along the lines so we (the remaining survivors) had another chance (other than Tommy) to escape. The character doesn't even have to be female at this point I just want another source of help. I don't see how an addition to the game would be dumb.

It's not easy being Jason and killing a person again because they're now Tommy. Having two people come back ruins it.
Fiery Fox But it also ruins it when Tommy comes back (his purpose is to help the remaining survivors escape, I know you knew that) and escapes without helping anyone and just leaves them on their own. Or update the game where Tommy can't leave until every counselor has escaped or has died.
