Just dont sprint and only jogg, its not only saver (if jason is coming with shift and u ran out of stamina bec u sprinted), u also play with 3 perks (mine are: thick skinned (epic), marathon (rare) and restful (legandary) lemme tell u smth man, this build is unstoppable if you know what you're doing (u dont need vanessa's speed for that then)
Jacen1347 right? I know it’s supposed to make it easier but I have a legendary tinker and I still have about 10-12 skill checks for Tiffany sometimes. It’s crazy. I thought they meant by repair faster it would be less checks and easier speed. I do notice it speeds it up in between but sometimes you need that because someone level 1 like Tiffany slows to a molasses on a cold day speed and Jason always shows up. Best not to fix much with her. If you want to fix more then give up the solid wheels and use AJ instead
Give it to Victoria and you have decent repair.. that perk on Kenny gives him a great repair to go along with his other balanced stats. Fox becomes a great repair character with that perk.
FRobert717 Tiffany is ridiculously good I used her when I had more experience and she is one of the only ones I ever use now. Trust me she has solid wheels and with the right perks she is deadly I can even fix with her if need be. But yeah she is definitely eye candy based on the part 4 twins. Only my AJ has more Jason kills with the sweater than Tiffany.
Then youve played with crap players, I'm sorry to say. Tiffany is incredibly versatile. A sneaky delivery girl, and if she is spotted by jason, she can juke him for quite a while.
I really don’t understand how Victoria can be 13th, I mean, she is a really good counselor, she is like a cheap version of AJ. I always play with Victoria and I survive most of the time. Plus you are wrong, Victoria can: - repair, she is not the best but she is ok - easily hide from Jason - fight back pretty well
Idk, I found Victoria as a bodyguard type, because of her luck she can hit Jason many times before her weapon brakes and she can join in with other stealthy counsoler due to her stealth as 7.
Vic is 2nd on my personal tier list bc you can work around her weaknesses so well. Her repair is a 3 so you can still get things done and she just cant fight jason too well so you can just use guns or run away
AJ Mason is my favorite. I've escaped with her countless times...and as long as she has firecrackers you are bound to get away if you are being chased.
Mitch is screwed once Jason unlocks the mode it will go the best thing would be to have a collector like Tiffany and a bodyguard like Victoria or Chad all with decent levels of stealth to take advantage and collect all the pieces so that Mitch only has to repair, during the first phase while Jason can't see them

What pisses me off though is when I fix the entire car or the boat with someone like Tiffany and 2 asshats steal it and take off with it leaving her stranded. Like have some class and integrity if Tiffany the non-fixing bimbo got the boat going all by herself or the car, give her a freaking ride!
I recall fixing a car as Jenny on Higgins Haven only for a Chad player to jump in and run me down along with 2 other players. Gotta love those players...

They didnt listen, came to try and pick me up with them (apparently forgetting they were in the 2 seater) and ended up running me over after I ran off road to *avoid* being run over. They weren't working with Jason, either. I was in a party with him and we entered the game together. These two were just really bad at the game. They started screaming over the radio and freaking out about killing me on accident. Jason killed one of them, but the other got away since the cops had already arrived at the other exit... that I had practically ran all the way to while pursued by Jason.
Jenny was my favorite counselor to use since I started playing around the time the game came out. I’ve used her up till the Jason rage buff update and I hate to say that I agree with her being the last on the list. The whole point of her being the fighting counselor has been taken away when Jason goes to into rage mode. When he does go into rage mode,she is basically screwed with her low stamina and speed. Her repair is also bad so you have almost no hope to escaping when he’s in rage mode unless the other counselors repaired the boat,car,or called the cops. You can still repair stuff with Jenny but it will be hard when Jason is in rage mode because the repair mini game is really slow with her. All she really is now is a camping counselour in the end-game. You can still fight Jason back early game though,but if he’s still chasing you while he goes into rage mode and there’s no available way to escape,then your screwed.Jason can still see you in cabins in his rage mode when your hiding so you can’t really do that. There’s perk for a chance to avoid being seen with his sense ability while indoors but he can simply just keep rapidly using his sense ability because how fast it usually cool downs. So I believe should make it to where we can stun Jason again while in his rage mode but make it still really hard to stun him. Though with the fighting counselors it should be easier for them to stun him. Though like I mentioned,it should be harder to stun Jason with counselors such as the speed ones such as bugzy and Vanessa. In this way it would balance the counselors and make them all useful. Then we will have the fighting counselors,repair counselors,and the fast counselors and you can use whichever you would rather do in the game. Though as of right now the speed counselors are the only ones you can have hope with(to escape from Jason when he’s chasing you when he’s in rage mode).

Shelly’s my favorite too. Decent/good repair, strength and he can be a lone wolf. Most people don’t use him and I can understand why but he fits my play style pretty god damn closely. If I couldn’t use him I’d use Adam or AJ

There is a glich spot on Crystal Lake where a rock is in the water and only counselors can go on it and Jason can't use throwing knifes or shift cause it's in the water
Just saw this one today. Speedo Chad was chilling there the entire match dancing and it turns out he had the other keys so we couldn't even use one of the cars. It's like I always say, "If you're going to play the game then play it right", and I stand by that. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing a Counselor player using glitches to their advantage or teaming with the Jason player. That said, any Jason players who have to team with someone to get everyone isn't a good player regardless if it says 8/8.
I got the game a week ago i know I’m late but everyday and almost every game there’s a glitcher lol all I do is take them to my pre trapped hut and kill them
My main is Kenny. Being an all rounder is perfect. 1. Can repair with Tinker 2. Can escape Jason with Marathon/Restful 3. Can fight back/distract with Heavy Hitter, Swift Attacker, Sucker Punch, etc. 4. Average luck guarantees you will have something to work with in terms of items 5. Low Profile/Home Body/Level Headed makes him a stealthy beast Conclusion: Kenny is a good Counselor if you're the kind of person that does a little bit of everything
Mike G Kenny is really underrated. I think people overlook him because he has all 5s across the board. I prefer using him over Adam because I find him more useful.

Mitch is my favorite. I fully agree on if the character spawns alone in an area (more times than not it happened in the phone house). My chances are usually high on dying first. But that's not to say I put up a damn good fight and give whatever Jason is after me a damn good hunt. Unless the only weapon I have is a 2x4 or poker. Then I'm highly fucked.

I have to say, jenny should be high mids or even one of the best, because if you put the right perk combo on her, she can have jason on her for a LONG time as long as there are cabins around and places to duck and hide from jason with. Yeah her speed is lackluster but her stamina is GREAT when you get the patterns down right. Definately not for a starter counselor, but if you grind it out and learn her ins and outs you can absolutely TORMENT Jason, not to mention that her speed and stamina allow her to hang with other slower counselors when you have the sweater, making it hard for jason to single her out and kill her when you are going for the jason kill. the ideal kill squad with jenny would be a group of counselors like Shelly, Buggzy, and adam (or chad). OH AND DON'T FORGET THAT BOOTY!
Man only if she could run, hit Jason, or repair. If you can’t do those things then you are useless to a good Jason. I get it you think that stalling a bad Jason with Jenny means she’s good but in the end of the day if you can’t do anything when Jason isn’t on you (basically 90% of the time because your a stealth character)then your still a trash councilor
Even though I'm a level 150(For the past month or two) my favorite character is Lachappa because I like to challenge myself with how I use my stamina and I can repair stuff in a heartbeat. Even though Lachappa is physically the worse character I've bested some Jasons (In other words dodging their grabs/stunning them).
Jenny can be built fearless with an extra +10% fear resistance from perks, but yes I agree she's among the worst. I will say that her high luck, like with Chad, makes her low repair serviceable due to rerolling the skill checks.
imo if you learn how to play Jenny as a support member, she is extremely good. She can fight, hide, repair, and sneak. Having low repair is honestly easier for me.
@@hey8985 repairing is not always the main thing also if you have a good team you don't need to have a repairman usually there are characters like Adam and Fox who can be fighters and repairers at the same time, Tiffany can be a beast in a team however if you play You just won't be able to repair anything, it's almost impossible so you have to last the night against Jason, however it's still possible since she's the best runner in the game after Vanessa, I've played as Jason and almost always who can last the night and survive are Vanessa, Tiffany and Chad
Hey guys, great video and generally I agree with most of this list. However I think it's worth mentioning how Jason finds you and what attributes affect what. As a couple of times you've got it a little wrong. So composure affects fear and grabs. High composure makes you less fearful and therefore harder to sense and harder to maintain a grab on... The second way jason finds you is sound or the sound blips, as we all know. This is affected by your stealth stat though. So a ten stealth is barely putting out any ping rings jason can hone in on, but if you have low composure and are afraid. His sense will still get you. The same can be said in reverse. Higher composure means less chance to be seen with sense but a low stealth means he can pick up your sound pings. I'm only mentioning this because you've said high stealth means less likely to trigger sense and thats not right the two are different. Saying that some counselors who have stealth often have high composure too. A.j does and for that reason should still be number one. If she jogs rather than sprints she wont put out sound pings at all. Oh and one other thing for anyone that doesn't know. Post rage no hiding spot is safe from sense. Tents, bunkhouses and buildings with hiding spots will all show red post rage, regardless of whether you are hiding or not. Pre-rage however, If you are in a hiding spot before he uses sense, your building shouldn't show up red. I should say won't show up red. I've managed some crafty escapes knowing that. I heard 3 counselors slaughtered trying to start the car. His sense didnt work i crept out my wardrobe after his morph and the car was mine! Mwahahaha
I'm loving the content guys! My favourite counselor to play as is Deborah because i'm confident in my ability to survive, plus i like to help the team even if they're idiots 😂
When I used to play on console I would switch back and forth between AJ and Tiffany all the time. But ever since I switched to PC a little over a year ago I've only run AJ. This video has inspired me to pick Tiffany back up, so I thank you.
I always use AJ most of the time easy to play as a beginner. then I use Vanessa if I get really good and be able to defend myself against Jason. I sometimes use Tiffany too.
I find playing as A.J. with high level perks like: Home Body, Low Profile, & Level Headed work well is you’re looking for good stealth and decent repair. With those perks she can damn near be invisible to Jason sometimes.
I love watching these kinda vids, like it’s neat to see everyone’s opinions on things like this cause for someone like me I love playing Jenny even tho she’s not the best I’d still rank her pretty high on my list. DEFINITELY higher than Chad😂

if you're supposed to like running and repairing because you have Jenny in the top 1, XD she literally can't do either of the two there are only two ways to play with her and it's as a protector of your teammates or being a rat that hides all the match
If you throw Nerves of Steel on Tiffany the composure doesn't really matter because now you see where you are going. I'm a Tiffany player and my perks are Level 3 Thick Skin, Level 5 for starting with a map, and Level 2 Nerves of Steel
Also how is repair a weakness, literally any counselor with 2+ repair (EVERYONE BUT Tiffany & Brandon) can get good skill checks, its not hard to fix stuff with 2+ repair

I love all of the counselors. But my fav would be Adam. Because he has great strength, Speed is lil down, stamina is good, and that repair with grease monkey on and dads a coo jeez he is amazing
Debby was my first main for those stealth plays. Then Victoria came out and then those stuns with stealth omg it was mean lol then the Jason buff happened and Victoria became a lot less efficient, but still fun 😊
Pre patch I'd have Definetly said Chad was the best Counselor, especially if your goal was to survive the night. Now, not so much, but he's still fun to play.

Good that you mentioned that these are the best counselors in your opinion. I think you're not really considering the overall roles the characters should have in game. You mentioned it with Buggzy running and protecting, and Debbie being the best tinker for what she does. So a "chaperone Chad" is a solid build. I think it all depends on what you enjoy playing. The "No Fear Jenny" is ridiculously OP, but it requires rank 5 of your perks to pull off. Low profile legendary (legendary is fear resistance), nerves of steel, and preparedness at rank 5 makes you almost immune to fear. No stat degradation, and you can keep eyes on Jason the whole game. That being said, my asterisk for Jenny not being the worst is literally the one usable build of her. Victoria isn't that bad. She's a lower speed Tiffany, but 3 in repair so she can get it done. But again, either play Tiff for running, or AJ (BaeJ) for stealth and repair.
Vanessa is the hardest Counselor to kill , by far .

Jenny was my favorite counselor to use since I started playing around the time the game came out. I’ve used her up till the Jason rage buff update and I hate to say that I agree with her being the last on the list. The whole point of her being the fighting counselor has been taken away when Jason goes to into rage mode. When he does go into rage mode,she is basically screwed with her low stamina and speed. Her repair is also bad so you have almost no hope to escaping when he’s in rage mode unless the other counselors repaired the boat,car,or called the cops. You can still repair stuff with Jenny but it will be hard when Jason is in rage mode because the repair mini game is really slow with her. All she really is now is a camping counselour in the end-game. You can still fight Jason back early game though,but if he’s still chasing you while he goes into rage mode and there’s no available way to escape,then your screwed.Jason can still see you in cabins in his rage mode when your hiding so you can’t really do that. There’s perk for a chance to avoid being seen with his sense ability while indoors but he can simply just keep rapidly using his sense ability because how fast it usually cool downs. So I believe should make it to where we can stun Jason again while in his rage mode but make it still really hard to stun him. Though with the fighting counselors it should be easier for them to stun him. Though like I mentioned,it should be harder to stun Jason with counselors such as the speed ones such as bugzy and Vanessa. In this way it would balance the counselors and make them all useful. Then we will have the fighting counselors,repair counselors,and the fast counselors and you can use whichever you would rather do in the game. Though as of right now the speed counselors are the only ones you can have hope with(to escape from Jason when he’s chasing you when he’s in rage mode).

Shelly’s my favorite too. Decent/good repair, strength and he can be a lone wolf. Most people don’t use him and I can understand why but he fits my play style pretty god damn closely. If I couldn’t use him I’d use Adam or AJ

There is a glich spot on Crystal Lake where a rock is in the water and only counselors can go on it and Jason can't use throwing knifes or shift cause it's in the water

Just saw this one today. Speedo Chad was chilling there the entire match dancing and it turns out he had the other keys so we couldn't even use one of the cars. It's like I always say, "If you're going to play the game then play it right", and I stand by that. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing a Counselor player using glitches to their advantage or teaming with the Jason player. That said, any Jason players who have to team with someone to get everyone isn't a good player regardless if it says 8/8.

Jenny and Victoria definitely can repair by themselves. If I find an item with either of them I can put it in under 15 secs wo messing up

Stealth has no bearing on sense. He'll see her sound blip, but good luck catching them if they're any good.

My favorite counselors would have to be Vanessa, A.J., Deborah, Chad, and Tiffany. I play all of them and I don’t usually play anyone else 😂
My main is Kenny. Being an all rounder is perfect.
1. Can repair with Tinker
2. Can escape Jason with Marathon/Restful
3. Can fight back/distract with Heavy Hitter, Swift Attacker, Sucker Punch, etc.
4. Average luck guarantees you will have something to work with in terms of items
5. Low Profile/Home Body/Level Headed makes him a stealthy beast
Conclusion: Kenny is a good Counselor if you're the kind of person that does a little bit of everything
Mike G Kenny is really underrated. I think people overlook him because he has all 5s across the board. I prefer using him over Adam because I find him more useful.
@@XXSteel I feel the same way. Kenny doesn't get enough credit because he doesn't excel at anything. I think that honestly makes him a top tier character because everyone else is geared toward a certain task. Kenny can do it all

Mitch is my favorite. I fully agree on if the character spawns alone in an area (more times than not it happened in the phone house). My chances are usually high on dying first. But that's not to say I put up a damn good fight and give whatever Jason is after me a damn good hunt. Unless the only weapon I have is a 2x4 or poker. Then I'm highly fucked.

I have to say, jenny should be high mids or even one of the best, because if you put the right perk combo on her, she can have jason on her for a LONG time as long as there are cabins around and places to duck and hide from jason with. Yeah her speed is lackluster but her stamina is GREAT when you get the patterns down right. Definately not for a starter counselor, but if you grind it out and learn her ins and outs you can absolutely TORMENT Jason, not to mention that her speed and stamina allow her to hang with other slower counselors when you have the sweater, making it hard for jason to single her out and kill her when you are going for the jason kill. the ideal kill squad with jenny would be a group of counselors like Shelly, Buggzy, and adam (or chad). OH AND DON'T FORGET THAT BOOTY!
Man only if she could run, hit Jason, or repair. If you can’t do those things then you are useless to a good Jason. I get it you think that stalling a bad Jason with Jenny means she’s good but in the end of the day if you can’t do anything when Jason isn’t on you (basically 90% of the time because your a stealth character)then your still a trash councilor
Even though I'm a level 150(For the past month or two) my favorite character is Lachappa because I like to challenge myself with how I use my stamina and I can repair stuff in a heartbeat. Even though Lachappa is physically the worse character I've bested some Jasons (In other words dodging their grabs/stunning them).

Jenny can be built fearless with an extra +10% fear resistance from perks, but yes I agree she's among the worst. I will say that her high luck, like with Chad, makes her low repair serviceable due to rerolling the skill checks.

imo if you learn how to play Jenny as a support member, she is extremely good. She can fight, hide, repair, and sneak. Having low repair is honestly easier for me.

@@hey8985 repairing is not always the main thing also if you have a good team you don't need to have a repairman usually there are characters like Adam and Fox who can be fighters and repairers at the same time, Tiffany can be a beast in a team however if you play You just won't be able to repair anything, it's almost impossible so you have to last the night against Jason, however it's still possible since she's the best runner in the game after Vanessa, I've played as Jason and almost always who can last the night and survive are Vanessa, Tiffany and Chad
Hey guys, great video and generally I agree with most of this list. However I think it's worth mentioning how Jason finds you and what attributes affect what. As a couple of times you've got it a little wrong.
So composure affects fear and grabs. High composure makes you less fearful and therefore harder to sense and harder to maintain a grab on...
The second way jason finds you is sound or the sound blips, as we all know. This is affected by your stealth stat though. So a ten stealth is barely putting out any ping rings jason can hone in on, but if you have low composure and are afraid. His sense will still get you. The same can be said in reverse. Higher composure means less chance to be seen with sense but a low stealth means he can pick up your sound pings.
I'm only mentioning this because you've said high stealth means less likely to trigger sense and thats not right the two are different. Saying that some counselors who have stealth often have high composure too. A.j does and for that reason should still be number one. If she jogs rather than sprints she wont put out sound pings at all.
Oh and one other thing for anyone that doesn't know. Post rage no hiding spot is safe from sense. Tents, bunkhouses and buildings with hiding spots will all show red post rage, regardless of whether you are hiding or not. Pre-rage however, If you are in a hiding spot before he uses sense, your building shouldn't show up red. I should say won't show up red. I've managed some crafty escapes knowing that. I heard 3 counselors slaughtered trying to start the car. His sense didnt work i crept out my wardrobe after his morph and the car was mine! Mwahahaha

When I used to play on console I would switch back and forth between AJ and Tiffany all the time. But ever since I switched to PC a little over a year ago I've only run AJ. This video has inspired me to pick Tiffany back up, so I thank you.

I find playing as A.J. with high level perks like: Home Body, Low Profile, & Level Headed work well is you’re looking for good stealth and decent repair. With those perks she can damn near be invisible to Jason sometimes.
IMO Vanessa is easily the best. I can repair just fine with her without messing up.
Vanessa is my fav female in the game too
it takes her 25-30 sec for a repair though. LVL 5-7 takes only 9-12 seconds. LVL 8-10 only needs 4-7

If you throw Nerves of Steel on Tiffany the composure doesn't really matter because now you see where you are going. I'm a Tiffany player and my perks are Level 3 Thick Skin, Level 5 for starting with a map, and Level 2 Nerves of Steel

Also how is repair a weakness, literally any counselor with 2+ repair (EVERYONE BUT Tiffany & Brandon) can get good skill checks, its not hard to fix stuff with 2+ repair

A bit late but I still play a lot. It’s one of my favorite games.
I love all of the counselors. But my fav would be Adam. Because he has great strength, Speed is lil down, stamina is good, and that repair with grease monkey on and dads a coo jeez he is amazing

Debby was my first main for those stealth plays. Then Victoria came out and then those stuns with stealth omg it was mean lol then the Jason buff happened and Victoria became a lot less efficient, but still fun 😊

Pre patch I'd have Definetly said Chad was the best Counselor, especially if your goal was to survive the night.

Good that you mentioned that these are the best counselors in your opinion. I think you're not really considering the overall roles the characters should have in game. You mentioned it with Buggzy running and protecting, and Debbie being the best tinker for what she does. So a "chaperone Chad" is a solid build.
I think it all depends on what you enjoy playing. The "No Fear Jenny" is ridiculously OP, but it requires rank 5 of your perks to pull off. Low profile legendary (legendary is fear resistance), nerves of steel, and preparedness at rank 5 makes you almost immune to fear. No stat degradation, and you can keep eyes on Jason the whole game. That being said, my asterisk for Jenny not being the worst is literally the one usable build of her.
Victoria isn't that bad. She's a lower speed Tiffany, but 3 in repair so she can get it done. But again, either play Tiff for running, or AJ (BaeJ) for stealth and repair.
