I actually had a super organised group of players pull this off on me when I was Jason, I normally get everyone as Jason but wasn't even annoyed when it happened as I can appreciate how tricky it is to pull this off

It's annoying when I was Jason people organized and killed Jason. But when I played as human we tried to kill him at this method. But because we are disorganized we died.

Half the time when I use to play I was in lone wolf mode because the room were filled with troll, little kids that didn't know what they were doing, idiots or Jason helpers. Killing Jason wasn't a priority for me unless I actually had a decent group I was playing with and I knew I could do it. Ontop of all the times that I did try to do it and the kill glitched causing me to die in the process made me care about killing Jason even less. The developers even said that killing Jason was suppose to be a rarity.
i recommend getting jason’s mask off first before getting the sweater, because he won’t get alerted if you go into the cabin. so unless whoever’s playing jason is on your side and also trying to see how you can kill jason, GET THE MASK FIRST

How it actually goes: All the female counselors die so no one can use the sweater, or someone wastes the sweater trying to stay alive, or Tommy Jarvis doesn't get called because you just can't find the damn house, or once you find the radio Jason keeps cutting the power and trapping the electric box so you can't use/fix it, or the person who's playing Tommy can't find a machete/axe, or gets killed before he can do what he needs to do, or he escapes and leaves for some reason, or everyone dies trying to get rid of Jason's mask and now you have no one left alive to do the rest of the steps, or Jason decides it's a nice night for a swim as soon as his mask is gone (which is still a free escape but if you actually want to kill him it's over) or, most likely, you're right about to do it but then someone gets jealous of Jason's serial killer status and decides to outdo him by running everyone over for no reason

For crap's sake, no I did not steal footage from other youtubers. Please notice at 1:30 that myself, Delirious, Ohmwrecker, and Bryce are all standing around in the same lobby as we recorded these instructions. Tommy can also use the axe to kill jason and u dont need just a bat or axe to knock jason on his knees and if you pick up Jason's mask he won't be notified if you walk into his shack (big fan btw)
When you enter the shack, Jason will hear his mom's voice saying "THEY'RE HERE! HELP ME!" If the Jason player knows what that means and teleports right to you, yeah, you have a problem.
I'm having issues with this. me and my friends have been doing this for 2 hours. But every time Jason falls to his knees and Tommy wacks him, the cutscene doesn't play. instead Jason gets back up
Tommy should have a prompt to press E, son of use a standard Melee attack. Also make sure you're using the machete, although I've also seen the axe been used to deliver the blow as well
I understand what we were doing wrong. We were playing on PS4 and Tommy was hitting R2 instead of pressing X. We eventually found out how to do it. We killed Jason 4 times.
Step1: knock Jason’s mask off Step2: call tommy Jarvis Step3:find Jason’s shack Step4:take the sweater and axe. Step5 give the axe to tommy. Step6: use the sweater and have someone else hit Jason. This game is actually pretty fun and I’m pretty sure it’s free on ps4 which half the console players have and maybe the better version. I rate this game a 8/10. The -2 cause the randoms sometimes are kids and don’t know what they’re doing at all or you can’t invite friends cause it’s underrated. Btw ps4 when Jason mask is off and you use the sweater and hit him on his knees,you can’t hit him again, otherwise you’ll cancel the kill for the entire game cause there’s no sweater anymore. Instead when Jason is on his knees press the x button.
This game is awesome! I love how you basically HAVE to coordinate with people to win as campers. I found 4 or 5 great people to play with while playing the game. Put those headsets on people!!! It makes the game so much better!!
There's a reason the axe is in the shack. Grab it and give it to Tommy. After the mask is off and you stun Jason with the sweater, Tommy can hit him so he drops to his knees and then can deliver the killing blow. Way easier than using the machete since someone else would have to knock him to his knees.
Here are some corrections to this video from someone that still plays the game....from day 1 until today ...(not just played it in the beginning, left the game and came back) ....At 1:45....Using the machete to knock Jason's mask off is a good choice HOWEVER it also depends on the perks and the strength of the counselor, obviously a high strength counselor will have a stronger ability to knock the mask off in one or two hits.... At 1:58 - You are the correct, once the mask is knocked off it is useless, Tommy DOES NOT need to pick it up but the mask can be used to silence the alert that Jason receives when someone enters his cabin if the person entering the shack has the mask in their inventory......At 2:47...this part is partially correct, Tommy can use a MACHETE to kill Jason but he can also use an AXE to kill Jason, in fact, using the axe is a better option because it has a stronger ability to knock Jason to his knees if there is no one available to hit him after the sweater has been used. It's also good to note that the axe will ALWAYS spawn in Jason's shack so you will always be able to grab it from there....At 3:10....I would avoid this example in the video, most times Jason will be able to resist by time the sweater girl has a chance to hit Jason with the bat, it's better to either have a 3rd person hit Jason or Tommy can hit Jason to knock him to his knees, and then once Jason is on his knees Tommy can kill him (by pressing E on PC, or X on Playstation or A on Xbox)
Was playing two nights ago, you don’t need a machete to kill Jason or to knock off his mask, it’s like a game of chance when I comes to the mask, but you need a bladed weapon to kill Jason, so machete or axe will do

When I play as Jason nobody enters Jason's shack without paying a toll because I always trap the entrance to the shack. You either give up a pocket knife, get injured, or use up a health spray. Nobody enters for free, nobody.

I hate how there's no warning that you need to press X or A when you want to hit the finishing blow. The first time I played, Jason was on his knees and I damn near missed it because I pressed R2 instead, but luckily I recovered quickly. The whole server would've been pissed at me lol.
I've gotten his mask off, the sweater, and Jarvis 5 fucking times but everytime I use the sweater on him and hit him he doesn't get stunned and fall to his knees. every single time I've gotten grabbed and murdered glitchy ass game

Jeremy Case There is a few small variations to this, for example Tommy can also use the axe if he wants to for example, just this is the most consistent method.
FORMINCRAFTIA i got it one time so far the hit detection is still wonky even in combat mode and obviously in a pub Jason wants to kill you so he's mashing tf out of resist its been a combination of those two things that's made it way harder than it needs to be. Sucker punch and bugsy gets his mask off easily (epic sucker punch really helped a lot) but even in combat mode about 75% of the time I miss Jason completely I think consoles are way more jank I should have got it for pc

I cant remember if it was Micheal or Jason, but they legally cant die because of licensing contracts to keep making movies. So when you kill him think of the end of the movies where they think they kill him but he always comes back.

Tommy can also use the axe to kill jason and u dont need just a bat or axe to knock jason on his knees and if you pick up Jason's mask he won't be notified if you walk into his shack (big fan btw)

I'm having issues with this. me and my friends have been doing this for 2 hours. But every time Jason falls to his knees and Tommy wacks him, the cutscene doesn't play. instead Jason gets back up
Tommy should have a prompt to press E, son of use a standard Melee attack. Also make sure you're using the machete, although I've also seen the axe been used to deliver the blow as well

I understand what we were doing wrong. We were playing on PS4 and Tommy was hitting R2 instead of pressing X. We eventually found out how to do it. We killed Jason 4 times.

if you get the mask then jason won't be alerted to stealing the sweater, and you can use an axe as tommy to kill jason, and you need to use the axe if jason is in rage
I literally did this a few minuets ago, it started out as an escape but then turned into a fight with I thought would end up getting me killed. I didnt even know how to kill Jason exactly yet it happened lol

Having the mask in your inventory is so you dont alert Jason when you enter his cabin to get the sweater.

This game is actually pretty fun and I’m pretty sure it’s free on ps4 which half the console players have and maybe the better version. I rate this game a 8/10. The -2 cause the randoms sometimes are kids and don’t know what they’re doing at all or you can’t invite friends cause it’s underrated. Btw ps4 when Jason mask is off and you use the sweater and hit him on his knees,you can’t hit him again, otherwise you’ll cancel the kill for the entire game cause there’s no sweater anymore. Instead when Jason is on his knees press the x button.
This game is awesome! I love how you basically HAVE to coordinate with people to win as campers. I found 4 or 5 great people to play with while playing the game. Put those headsets on people!!! It makes the game so much better!!
Get the mask off first and he doesn’t get informed that you in his shack
There's a reason the axe is in the shack. Grab it and give it to Tommy. After the mask is off and you stun Jason with the sweater, Tommy can hit him so he drops to his knees and then can deliver the killing blow. Way easier than using the machete since someone else would have to knock him to his knees.

Here are some corrections to this video from someone that still plays the game....from day 1 until today ...(not just played it in the beginning, left the game and came back) ....At 1:45....Using the machete to knock Jason's mask off is a good choice HOWEVER it also depends on the perks and the strength of the counselor, obviously a high strength counselor will have a stronger ability to knock the mask off in one or two hits.... At 1:58 - You are the correct, once the mask is knocked off it is useless, Tommy DOES NOT need to pick it up but the mask can be used to silence the alert that Jason receives when someone enters his cabin if the person entering the shack has the mask in their inventory......At 2:47...this part is partially correct, Tommy can use a MACHETE to kill Jason but he can also use an AXE to kill Jason, in fact, using the axe is a better option because it has a stronger ability to knock Jason to his knees if there is no one available to hit him after the sweater has been used. It's also good to note that the axe will ALWAYS spawn in Jason's shack so you will always be able to grab it from there....At 3:10....I would avoid this example in the video, most times Jason will be able to resist by time the sweater girl has a chance to hit Jason with the bat, it's better to either have a 3rd person hit Jason or Tommy can hit Jason to knock him to his knees, and then once Jason is on his knees Tommy can kill him (by pressing E on PC, or X on Playstation or A on Xbox)

Was playing two nights ago, you don’t need a machete to kill Jason or to knock off his mask, it’s like a game of chance when I comes to the mask, but you need a bladed weapon to kill Jason, so machete or axe will do

When I play as Jason nobody enters Jason's shack without paying a toll because I always trap the entrance to the shack. You either give up a pocket knife, get injured, or use up a health spray. Nobody enters for free, nobody.

I hate how there's no warning that you need to press X or A when you want to hit the finishing blow. The first time I played, Jason was on his knees and I damn near missed it because I pressed R2 instead, but luckily I recovered quickly. The whole server would've been pissed at me lol.
I've gotten his mask off, the sweater, and Jarvis 5 fucking times but everytime I use the sweater on him and hit him he doesn't get stunned and fall to his knees. every single time I've gotten grabbed and murdered glitchy ass game
It's really buggy, yeah. The most important thing is to make sure he's not in the middle of an animation or already stunned by anything else.

FORMINCRAFTIA i got it one time so far the hit detection is still wonky even in combat mode and obviously in a pub Jason wants to kill you so he's mashing tf out of resist its been a combination of those two things that's made it way harder than it needs to be. Sucker punch and bugsy gets his mask off easily (epic sucker punch really helped a lot) but even in combat mode about 75% of the time I miss Jason completely I think consoles are way more jank I should have got it for pc
