Jack Smile666 Not lying. It legit works lmao. The killers mask (Jason's mask as referred to ingame) allows several things to happen, such as Pamela not to warn Jason that a counselor or counselors are present in the cabin, and I believe lets you do more damage/higher stun chance towards Jason.

Him being able to grab you immediately out of a speedy teleport(or whatever it is called) is pretty dumb. Slap a slight cooldown of grabbing outside of that and I'm set.

This is hard truth, yes.
One change I'd make is only have Jason able to use his "super special moving ability" when no-one is looking at him. In the movies we NEVER saw Jason disappear. He was just there, we looked away, and he was not there anymore. That should've been mirrored in the game.

What I don't get is why people don't understand that you bought a game that is meant to mimic a movie franchise, where a SUPER NATURAL SERIAL KILLER is chasing helpless counselors. Of course it's gonna be hard, it's supposed to be.
Sneaky Sniper The people that complain about this aspect obviously don't know the franchise and are the same people that hate the dark souls series. They want the game more "balanced" and "fair" when they know these games are supposed to be like this so they can stay on their high horse of mediocre game skills and claim to be the best. You can't reason with those people.
Sneaky Sniper hard and nearly impossible are very different things. For example Jason can literally teleport to people and kill them on the spot without them having any chance to escape. Also the stuns for him don't last nearly big enough. You get about six seconds to run, and that is never long enough to actually get away from him. Also it is nearly impossible to escape by yourself because of the amount of things you need. When you do take a vehicle to escape he is alerted and can essentially destroy the vehicle simply by touching it. Lastly from what I'm aware the music has been changed to be random instead of only when Jason is around, from my experience playing I highly think that is true. So to recap, Jason can teleport to people, break the vehicles by teleporting to them, if you are seen you will die, and you can't escape by yourself. The only times I have ever escaped or seen someone escape is in a private game because in public games everyone is a selfish asshole.

So unrealistic that the 5 foot 95 pound girl gets grabbed and killed instantly by Jason. The fact that the same girl can knock him down with a baseball bat is laughable to be quite honest. None of your concerns have any validity, just ignorant statements from someone who clearly doesn't understand the franchise.
To be fair, that IS how it is in the movies. There is an unstoppable monster trying to killing you and you have very LITTLE chance of survival. It makes sense that he's op because he IS. Hell the man normally kills everyone in a movie or there's 1 or 2 people left, he even went toe to toe with Freddy Krueger and KILLED HIM! HE KILLED A CLONE OF HIMSELF! If that's not an accurate representation of the game I don't know what is. This is not dead by daylight, it's Friday the 13th. Being op is just what Jason is.

The fact that Jason is "overpowered" makes the game more exciting when playing as a counselor and you're actually hiding from Jason.
He's Jason he's supposed to be over powered to near impossible levels he was in the films. This is one time the term "get good" should apply. That shouldn't effect the score. Glitches are another story though unfortunately.
Ebany Hawk95 Only from part VI and onward. I-IV he was just a normal man. A man who would have stayed dead had the fans accepted Tommy Jarvis as the new antagonist in a new trilogy starting with Friday V. Be glad Bethesda didn't make the game at least they are fixing the bugs and glitches, Skyrim is still buggy as hell.

Tony Hart It would be really nice if they migrated hosts like COD does. I've been kicked so many times because the host loses Internet connectivity or just plain quits because the match isn't going their way. I'd probably be around level 30 by now if it wasn't for all the xp I lost that way.
I personally love that its hard to win as a survivor. I find if its easy to win in these types of games, the fun of it just goes out the window. After all, you are playing a game based of a franchise where the killer pretty much kills everyone. Although, when people are just kill hungry and just want points, its not fun either. I love toying with the survivors as Jason.
Soooo, they didn't like it because Jason is overpowered? They must hate every single Dark Souls game ever then, lol.
It's really not though. Jason is overpowered, just like most of the enemies you encounter in Dark Souls are, so you have to learn about them and about how they move and react so you can beat them.

Once you figure out some proper strategies when running from Jason, it actually gets a lot easier.
My only complaint in terms of balance is Jason's ability to teleport and immediately grab you. Doesn't exactly give you any opportunity to counter him in anyway. If they put a cooldown maybe on his grabbing ability after Jason phases, I feel that the balance in the game would be just right...

But that game doesn´t really have anything overpowered, you are just really weak when you start. But the more you level up the easier the enemies get.
Jason will never get easier no matter how much you level up.
Actually you can kill Jason with an axe. This fact slips through the cracks SO much! The only difference between the two kills on Jason is that Tommy holds the machete with one hand but the axe with two hands.
I don't understand. The whole point of the game is: counselors need to survive and Jason needs to kill. I ran into some people who get angry if you kill them as Jason dropping eff-bombs and calling you names cause you won't let them escape. Isn't that the whole point.

it was one of the stretch goals like some of the current jason skins in the game but they didnt reach enough money for it. Im sure they will release dlc for the other movie skins
personally, I enjoy the fact that Jason is OP af. It basically means that you actually need teamwork to win. If you team up with the other counselors, 3-4 of the counselors can easily put a tag team beat down on Jason while the others prepare the escape routes.

Jason is perfect the way he is they don't need to change anything about his powers. Because really it all depends on who's playing Jason. If the player is a good Jason. You're going have your work cut out for you. If the player's a noob you welcome the break. Kinda like a comic relief.

The point of the game is to survive, it's like beating a game it's not going to be easy just because the game is based off of a movie. Jason being overpowered adds more satisfaction when you survive and a lot more fun to the game.
Just yesterday we tried to escape Jason by car. He stopped us, and one of my teammates smacked him with a bat. Jason went flying into the air, then sunk into the ground and the game ended as if time had run out. Legendary
People I've played with who complained about the difficulty of being a camp counsellor also are the people without mics or just simply refuse to cooperate. Playing with people who work together almost guarantees that a lot of players will survive. It's a game of teamwork and lots of people I've had the displeasure of playing with don't see this.

the fact that you can survive is great plus it's not impossible and if your smart or experienced enough you can outwit the Jason even as Jason you have to watch out this makes it fun cause unless your careful in both stances you can be an easy mark

This game is about bunch of counselers hiding and running away from a man that's almost 6ft tall that wants all of them dead, you're not supposed to be able to kill in every other game, most of the Jason will always be the winner, just like in the movies. Having multiple ways of killing Jason and one that can be done by ONE PLAYER would ruin the experience :/

Jason is a bit overpowered, while in my opinion it's completely understandable considering.... you know it's Jason?? I do feel like the counselors need to have a better chance of surviving to make the game more enjoyable. In my first round of Tommy, I was running to a window but I ran out of sprint, Jason appeared behind me out of no where and I got the TV Screen Static effect and I couldn't even see him. By the time the Static Effect went away I was already being carried by Jason and he through me through a window. I didn't even have a chance to do anything!
i mean you just sayd it, why would you sprint across the map lol only sprint when he is about to get you. with practice it gets easier to avoid him.

I think the challenge of surving Jason adds to the fun more than take away from it. It makes the moment you survive or escape ALOT more satisfying
Literally the only problem I have with the game is that when a car is ready to go, only the person with the keys can get in, and everyone else can't get in til the car is actually started. The problem with this is that there are people out there that don't know this and think you're just not getting into the car because you don't want to. This literally just happened to me today, the guy had a mic and was starting the car and he was saying "yo man you better get in or im gonna leave your ass" but by the time i got the option to get in the passanger seat he had already started driving. It pissed me off lol I literally tried getting in the second i was able to and still couldn't, and to make it worse not only did i repair the car but he ran me over and killed me.

I haven't played it yet, but looking at the react to the game is scary XD Jason is perfect. The build up of music and then how difficult he is works up to how the movies portrayed him. Fire don't kill him and water only phases him.
Ive noticed that if you play with a noob Jason you will survive hoping your team mates have mics and work together. But if you play against a person who knows what they're doing as Jason you will all die.
when friends and I play, we usually don't allow the Jason to use any abilities for the first 20 sec or so. with that being said we also down allow the counselors to leave the hiding spot they find for that time as well. it allows the counselors the time to actually do something instead of Jason immediately spawning next to them while not allowing them to have the chance to repair the boat and cars before Jason can do anything. We also state that the last counselor alive cannot be grabbed by Jason making the final moments of the game more intense and enjoyable.
Fun fact: Forest Green was what Crystal Lake renamed itself after the Pamela/Jason debacle in an effort to put that terrible time behind them.

I love how everyone talks about f13 now, but when the developers needed money, no one was there. No one even hyped up the game till after it was released

I have matches where I've killed all councilors. But everyone now is getting good at playing the councilors. I'm mean they have the power to plan attack and work together. So I'll have those 2 or 3 kills out of 7 or 8 also. Need to fix if the Jason leaves game someone dead or survived takes over. I've been so mad losing XP sometimes while I was doing great. Keep up the good work

There is a path in Higgins called Shelly's Path after Shelly from part 3.
At 9:40, you can sneak into Jason's cabin without alerting him if you have his mask in your inventory. If you're planning on camping 20 minutes, it's the smartest place to hide because Jason wouldn't look there unless he was alerted.
I really wish there would’ve been a single player campaign. That would’ve been like a modern day Manhunt
pro tip
if you crouch and walk, when the little sound bubble starts to appear, take off running. youve got about 3-4 seconds you can run then crouch or stop before another sound bubble goes out, it should be a small one again. if you catch it right you can run during the stealth bubble instead of the loud/large sound bubble. helps to get you around the map fast while not being detected by a large sound bubble off in the distance.
I have no idea if this actually works, but I seem to get around just fine doing it
I was once Jason and I made a load of counselors fight each other by the tent camp and any one who ran died it was so funny
Hate they cancelled the new movie, but hope that the success of the game will show studios that the fandom is very much alive and eagerly awaiting continuity in the franchise
You can actually stop pamela's head from alerting jason, by stealing his mask.

I really hope im not misstaking now, but after hearing 1 sec of your video i recognized ur voice!! You were in my literally first game ever in F13 :O my nick was "Plebasaurus rekt" and you might remember how i kept missing you with the throwing knifes because i had no idea u could aim by holding... "*mixed with overwhelmed laughing* your name contains pleb so now i know what to call you after those misses" u said (or something like that :P) My jason was kinda handicapped since i had no idea how to play, but i still choose to only chase you since you were funny :D (Your voice is kinda original so i either played with you or your long lost twin :O)

I was playing in a glitchy lobby and nobody died or escaped yet and someone called Tommy while my character was still alive on the minimap there were 2 yellow arrows I even saw Jason kill my original character it was so cool
