@@0-MACMAC-0 i wish this upon you aswell brother
Yea too much of a pussy ..after he said ask 2 people if they're ok with you riding 😂😂 i stopped watching
I wish both of yall find 100 for being wholesome
😂
I second the MSF class too. I thought I too had failed the practical skills test but I didn't.
Once I heard “you have to hold your permit for 9 months” I knew the easier way was my ONLY options. THANKS 🙏
I have a motorcycle learners permit in indiana but right now there arent a lot of testing providers available due to a conflict with new bmv testing regulations so i might take a safety course in order to get my endorsement next summer.
Excellent advice!! Thank you
I had many years of experience riding dirt bikes so in my early 40s I went the permit route. The main limitation of the permit in my state (NC) is that you can’t carry a passenger. The permit last for 1 year, you can renew it only once for an additional 6 months. But that’s it, and you have to get your full motorcycle endorsement or you can’t ride. But if you’ve never ridden I highly recommend taking the MSF course.
This sounds like where I’m at. 43, used to ride dirt bikes and years of the itch has finally turned into planning. I’m going to get a dual sport so I’m learning about how to get my endorsement. It makes way more sense for me to go the permit route.
i’m 17 and currently saving for a motorcycle this video helped me alot i appreciate it
sameee
im gonna have to do the 30 day permit as the closest msf course to me is 150 miles away and i cant afford a hotel for 3 days.
good news is i live in a small town that has mellow traffic and plenty of parking lots with little to no need for highway travel.
currently looking at suzuki sv650s as they seem to be perfect for commuting and weekend fun
question.. do you still need to do a writing test when you got your permit ? ( I live in Texas and have a driver’s license and I’m 25) thankyou for your answer
Bro in the Netherlands you have to do like your a1 liscense a2 and then you can do your a liscense at 24 each costs about 1000 to 1500 to take
So I already have my motorcycle permit but have not done with the behind the wheel test. Well I'm only riding a scooter w/c travel up to 40phm but Cali requires you have to get a license of course if you want to be legit..lol. I have until May 2024 next year but until now for God's sake, I still fail every time I practice at DMV with that circle thing & I have not scheduled the test yet. So can I still get the MSF course then I don't need to do the behind the wheel test right? And I'm an adult if that makes a difference with the minors.
Hi Im 19 years old living in Cali. So I can just take an MSF course and obtain my license If I pass the course?
great video, can you help clarify one thing please: can a lawful permanent resident (apr) revalidate his own driver license from his country?
So I've already taken the written and have a permit, in the Msf course do I have to do it again? I only need it for a scooter, have no interest in wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle
I raced hare scramble but never actually wanted ride street wise until lately (raced with my brother who passed and I’m getting back into it again) so I booked my appointment to take my written test 😂 I wonder what they are gonna say when I ask them how long I have to wait for my skills test 😂 because if they want an impressive one and done I’ll call my dad to bring one of the bikes up there
If you finish the course do you get full riding license or the permit..
Wait wait wait…. So when you say “the dmv doesn’t supply a motorcycle” but the course DOES, you can get your license strictly from the course, correct?
Yes. So the MSF course will stick you on a bike and teach you basic riding skills. Then you'll take a written and practical test at the very end. From there, you get a certificate you just take to the DMV to add your motorcycle endorsement to your license. Super quick process.
what if you dont have a driver's licence do you still get the motorcycle endorsement in VA@@TSMotoADV
what if you dont have a drivers license?
In maine you have to take at least an 8 hour course and the 16 hour course to skip the road test. There is no pop in and get a permit..
If I take that training can I do on my state?
Do I need a license to do the msf brc in nyc?
What if I want to make a Surron ultra Bee street legal?
never ridden street... just bought a 2005 honda vtx 1300... ive been ridding dirtbikes since i was 3 im now 37 and i gotta say there is no difference between street and dirt... once you know the basics its all gravy...
do you need to get a motorcycle license/permit before you go through the MSF class? In the video it said i need to add motorcycle endorsement to my license? ( I am over 18 btw in GA), not getting a straight answer online
So, the motorcycle endorsement is what allows you to legally ride motorcycles.
Being over 18 in Georgia, you don’t need a permit first, you can just take the course and get your motorcycle license test waiver (good for 90 days) which means you can just goto the DMV and add the endorsement to your license within that 90 days without having to do any testing there.
dds.georgia.gov/georgia-licenseid/motorcycle-license
So do we need a motorcycle permit for the msf class or do we get that during class ?
Neither! You’re able to get your license immediately following the class, provided you pass the test they give you.
No permit required.
One note though, California does have some requirements for permits depending on age.
I have never had good luck with cars
People run into cars like their car is made of stone
I got into e scooters and I love it
But most people can’t work on them
So I’m looking at motorcycles now and mopeds.
I’m very excited t get one
Super cheap
Faster than cars
Good on gas
All that
Does anyone know if I need to do BRC AND BRC 2 for the waiver ? Or just the 3 day BRC course. I’m in Illinois btw.
Just the BRC, BRC 2 is beneficial for some more advance skills and getting more comfortable though.
@@TSMotoADV ty!
Ok dumb question but if I don’t have a drivers license will the msf course certificate allow me to get the motorcycle only license or does it only apply to endorsements. I’m in VA as well
from experience in texas, one guy from my msf course got kicked out cause he did not bring his license. not sure if va is the same as well.
Virginia does offer licenses for just operating motorcycles, but if you decide to take an MSF course, just check with whoever's doing it that they don't require you to have a driver's license on their end.
So I’m dumb. I waiting too long after finishing my safety course. Does anyone know if I can go to the dmv still and get my endorsement on the license?
Same thing happened to me… after 6 months you have to retake the course… it doesn’t make any sense but that’s their rules on it
So I went the second route out of impatience of waiting so long. But I still have wanted to take the BRC class. Now you said that they provide you with a bike. Now are you referring to in class, or do they allow you to take it to the DMV for your drivers portion. Or do you no longer need to take that after you pass the class?
They provide you a bike for the class. And depending on the state, you don’t need to do the riding portion at the DMV, finishing and passing the class will give you the needed certificate to add the endorsement to your license.
So I'm 15 am i allowed to take the MSF course even at this age or do you have to get a permit or take some other test because i would rather take the MSF course
I am wondering the same as soon as you turn 16 and get a license the MSF course is valid, you can take the MSF at 15 from what I’ve seen but it’s not gonna do you good till you get your regular license and then go to the dmv to update the license
Can you a buy a motorcycle without a motorcycle permit from someone on craigslist? I'm also about to get my driver's license. I'm from seattle, WA & don't fully understand it, since I really wanna bike already.
You can absolutely buy, own, and register a bike without a motorcycle license. You just can’t legally ride it.
Silly question 🙋♂️ but do I have to have a drivers license to get a motorcycle license? I can’t just skip in getting a drivers license?
Great question, a lot of the research I've done shows most states have options for getting a motorcycle license without a drivers license! Take a look at what your local DMV has on their website, a lot of times there's information on that!
I'm 30 from Massachusetts.. I have never ridden a motorcycle before. Do I need to take the permit test before I take the class. Or can I do the class and get my license.
So, in MA, you need to take the permit test first. Once you have your permit, if you take the BRC, it waives the road test requirements in MA and allows you to get your license on completion.
Do i have to have my drivers license before i get my motorcycle license? im 16 trying to get into riding.
Depends on your state. Some states require it. Some states don’t. Most states require you to have a motorcycle permit no matter what if you’re under 18 as well.
Your local DMV website should outline all the requirements, sometimes a little hard to find. But it’s typically all there from what I’ve seen in most states.
Kinda of funny when u said I have a husband.
Real
This were i stop watching 😂
Yall got little brains😂🤦♂️
@@paazamalem-ghabut1242that’s kinda bad, to each there own man.
I went straight to the comments..🤣
Do you recommend showing up to the DMV early for my appointment and what should I bring to the DMV after passing to get my endorsement?
Excuse me do I need a license before I get my motorcycle license? Cuz I don’t have it I just turned 18
This depends on the state! Some will allow you to and some won’t unfortunately.
What if you are the under age of 18? Im 16 rn and im really into bikes, is it the same route as the easy way or is it different?
Most states require you to have a permit and take a safety course if you’re under 18. Your local DMV website should outline all the requirements.
Don't you need your permit before the MSF course? Or is that just the Tipic?
Depends on the state you're in actually! Where I am in Virginia, you don't need a permit at all if you're over 18 and do the MSF course.
Wait, what risk you are talking about?!?!
I get certificate from MSF but next step please I’m from Rhode Island
You'll want to goto the DMV and have them add your motorcycle endorsement to your drivers license.
can i get my MC license without a drivers?
Depends on your age and state. Some states allow it, some don't. Most require you to be at least 18 though.
in tennessee do you have to hold a permit for 6 months as a minor before getting a motorcycle liscence? Also, i hope u and ur husband are doing fine.
From what I've seen, most states require you to hold a permit before you can get a full motorcycle license if you're under 18.
I'm gonna guess the hubby wasn't so jazzed about the increase in probability of you being in the hospital 😂😂😂
He’s definitely not now 😅 crashed while racing two weeks ago lol.
Bro your trolling the audience with the husband part 😂
damn i was hoping this was a vid that explained how to get it WITHOUT going to the DMV. That place is hell on fking earth. For me i HAVE to have a permit to take the course, so skipping the dmv is inevitable.my state doesnt let yiu take the test online. Its like theyre forcing you to go ugh
Do I need license for a dirt bike?
No need for a license if you're just riding off-road!
@@TSMotoADV and the registration?
In most cases, you can't register a dirt bike, in stock form, they don't meet the requirements to be utilized as an on-road vehicle. Some states, like Virginia, offer a process to get your bike to meet the requirements so you can legally register it and ride it on roads.
But if you have a straight up dirt bike, you don't need to register it at all. If you have a dual sport and plan to ride on the road, you need to register and insure it, and also get a motorcycle license.
It’s taking me forever to pass the temps😩😭
just enrolled in a smart MFS course while watching this video.
Boyfriend taught me how to pop a wheelie on a grom today after only riding it once.. officially a little female squid
Hell yeah! Great bike to learn that on too. Not a huge drop to the ground if it doesn’t go well 😂
You’ll love riding!
1:04 your husband ayo 🤣🙅🏾♂️ what type of shit you got going on. Anyways I just want my dirtbike to be legal so my family can hop off my nuts. Not doing no mirrors nor blinkers, and I will put the plate under the back fender. Aye at least I’ll be able to wheelie legal😂🤷🏾♂️
pretty sure in order to make it street legal you have to put blinkers and mirrors and a taillight on it. if you are wanting to drive it on the street
Yup, in VA at least, it's a whole process to get a dirt bike street legal, gotta add a mirrors, head light, turn signals, gotta do a bunch of stuff with the state police and DMV to get it certified and such. Pain in the ass, but someone local to me just did it recently and documented the process pretty well.
Bro had me dieing lol trolling the audience for reals I was like wtf 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When I hear range training I think something else lol
You're not wrong! Been a while since I've done that kind of range training myself.
#1 rule of motor vehicles: don't speed, you have to pay money on tickets.
you'd be suprised. i've gotten 3 speeding tickets in the last 2 years and have yet to pay any of em.
@@kazvsty Good way to have police showing up at your door putting you in cuffs for a felony and jail time.
Husband? This is the straightest gay man on earth lol, good video
Thanks for the info and I have an amazing story, if anyone's interested. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.
Since then, I've been getting prayers answered wayyyy more often, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions for praying, as best I can.
Lmaoo 😂
Seems everyone says this is the easy way, but it seems like the hard way if you ask me lol. Apparently doing it this way can keep insurance costs lower somehow.
Isnt that better then??
@whin if I'm going to save $3.50 to $5 per month. Not really, in my opinion
@@Lincolnator721 ya and considering the course costs like $200+ that aside I don’t even have any classes in my area😭
Depending on what kind of bike you buy and how old you are insurance can be a huge or insignificant part of the cost of riding. 20 year old on a sport bike is going to pay a fortune. A 40 year old on a 300cc dual sport will pay less for insurance for an entire year than that kid might pay per month.
@nephilymbass1 you have a good point you have to pay alot on gas and insurance to have a racing machine.
my husband is crazy
Wise man once said never take advice from a man with a husband. . .
