It's 7.30 pm on a Saturday evening here in England. I got home from the hospital an hour ago. Taken in last night. I have many medical problems but it is what it is. I now have an ear infection a chest infection and a sinus infection. My balance is off. So Miss Becky work your magic. My feet are up, I have a pot of tea, and all is well. I truly love coming to your channel. It's with young women like yourself that gives me hope that the future isn't so dire. THANK YOU. Those truffles you made I do something like those for Christmas gifts also but each batch I do one has rum added to it and then coated in vermicelli chocolate. I melt some caramels and add them to the inside and once set cover them in caramel crunch sprinkles. I also make Baileys ones.
❤❤
Get well soon!
I’m in England too - Hampshire. I hope that you are feeling better and rested up.
Hope you are feeling better, best wishes from South Carolina ❤
🙏 that you feel better quickly!
I love it here! It's either folks cheering on Becky with a "you go girl," sharing the sweetest story about inspiring a 70-year-old to garden again, or opening up about how her videos got them through tough times 😂❤
She’s multitalented! Cures every ill!
So true!!! 😂
I love it when Becky tucks into the empty pans it reminds me of being a little girl watching my mum baking cakes and getting to clean out the mixing bowl😊
It reminds me of me right now 😂
@KateEASN But now I don't have to fight over who gets to lick the bowl 🥣 😅 or whose turn it is to wash dishes 😮
Oh, well, good thing I'm now a mature, responsible adult 😉 🙃
love, love, love the idea of freeze dried strawberries for the rice krispie treats.
I wonder if you don’t have freeze dried strawberries if you could use strawberry jello ?
Yes, you can !
Good idea, but I’d like to try the dried strawberry first just to see what the difference would be.
As someone else said in the comments I love it here too 💕 These recipes sound and look so good! I appreciate your reactions when you taste something and your 👀 eyes get big 😋. Thank you for sharing and making the whole process look effortless. I know it’s a lot of work on top of recording 📷 from different angles and then editing 🎬. Good job 😊Becky 💕 and I’m looking forward to the next video with the cookies 🍪
I normally do not comment but had to let you know that I love seeing your beautiful pups❤
An easy way to make rice crispy treats is to melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave and add the marshmallows , melt them in the microwave in 30 to 40 second intervals and stir, like you do with the chocolate. You can also just dip your hands in water to press the mixture into the pan. It works better than the pan spray.
All your treats look delicious!
Great info! Thanks!
Hi Becky! Just wanted to give a small tip on the oreo truffles (or anything else you are dipping in chocolate). After you dip the truffle, place it on the furthest edge of the pan instead of closest to you. That way you don't drip chocolate on top of what's already done. Thank you for all your videos!
OH, that's a great idea. Thanks!
Those all look yummy and I can't wait for the cookie show. Those pretzels are super cute and couldn't be easier! Side note about freeze-dried strawberry dust: my daughter adds the strawberry dust to frosting on cupcakes and it is beyond delicious plus has that pretty pink color. Happy Valentine's Day Acre Family.
Becky, I really need to be your neighbor 😂 everything looks so delicious! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone ❤
Ditto! But I’ve learned a lot & soon everyone will love me as a neighbor! 🤣 She has so many amazing treats … l’m going to try!
I love watching your videos. I have been cooking for over 50 years now but I always find new ideas and tricks from watching how you are doing things. Thank you Becky.
That is awesome! Thanks for watching!
Another way to reduce crystalization is to put the lid on the pot for a moment and the steam that accumulates condenses and drips down the sides of the pot. Takes a couple of minutes and works well for me. Hope this helps someone.
Another way to make sure parchments paper stays in place is to oil container or pot you are putting it in, this way you do not get a crinkled bottom on whatever is going into the container 😊
Water drops work as well as oil, too
Thank you for sharing that! Then the parchment sticks and doesn’t move around! Now why didn’t I think of that? 😊
Metal clips you buy in a office supply store can be used to hold the parchment paper to the sides of the pan. If it’s going to go in the oven, they need to be removed before going into the oven. But if you’re going in the refrigerator like your fudge, they can stay clipped to the sides
Best invention ever! I even use them to make corners on silicone mats for the dehydrator instead of buying the expensive liners with edges on them. I use them to dehydrate my leftover whey from making yogurt which becomes an unflavored protein powder. I love not wasting food. Works perfectly! 🎉
I just started to use those clips for holding the paper in the tins. I thought I'd hit on an original 💡 idea. Guess not lol. I keep them on in the oven. No problem if they are all metal, they come out as they went in.
Lol I use them as “chip clips” to close bags.
Hey sweet friend, Everything you make looks so delicious!! I appreciate you with the addition of your dye free sprinkles. I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer to both lungs both breasts and my spine. Your culinary wisdom gives my family and I joy watching you especially with your beautiful eyes and I love your mother and father and your furbabies. Sending blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Oh Kristen, I’m so sorry to read your comment just now about your metastatic cancer. That is heartbreaking. I hope you’re still doing well and that that damn C has gone away. I will pray for you and send positive thoughts to you my dear. God Bless! Hugs!
Becky you can use a wooden skewer to stick the candy with and then dip them. It's not as messy that way and uses less chocolate to dip.
Yes. Not to be mean but it looks so messy.
So, that wouldn’t crack those hearts? It definitely would be neater!
No it wouldn't hurt them. They soften just a little and then you stick them in the center and then dip them. I make all kinds of bon bons and dip them that way. Then you can cover the small hole easier also. I have also used a little paraffin wax in my chocolate to make it shiny and it dries faster.
Becky I’m 54, have raised my 3 kids and I have 11 grandchildren. You inspire me with every video I watch! I’ve always considered myself a good cook but I have learned a lot from you and you keep me wanting to learn and cook more! Thank you ❤
I love how varied your recipes are, and how they always seem like something I could easily do, as well. Your efforts are paying off for my family!
Thank you so much 😊 That makes me so happy
Love your holiday cooking videos!!
I’m just about to make treats to send to my daughter and her fiancé.
*Fireball Whiskey Marshmallows
*Chocolate Covered Cherries
*Shortbread
*Snowball Cookies and one other item I haven’t decided on. 😁
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!! 🌺❤🌺❤
That all sounds wonderful! Bet they will love them!
What a "sweet" friend you are. I bet your friends who rec'd these goodie boxes love them. Thanks for sharing. hope you have a fabulous Valentine's day.
Just so beautiful Becky! These candies & cookies look superb! I’m certain you’re going to be the loveliest heart in town with these adorable & delicious treats! Everything turned out amazing. I really love your channel & enjoy watching you & again have learned so much! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you! 🌹🍓🥨🍪🎁💌💝🅱️
Becky since you're doing candy every year you might buy a reusable piping bag and tip set. ... It's reusable and MUCH easier to control for decorating. 😀
Man do I wish I was a neighbor or friend who lived near u. These all look so good even though I'm not a fan of white chocolate. I'm on day 4 of quarantine with covid. Haven't slept in 4 days. It's 8:20 here on the east coast so I'm about to head to bed early. Hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day.
Hope you feel better soon
Feel better soon.
Becky, you keep me living sometimes. ❤ thanks for being our friend. You have no idea the impact you have.
I love that you used strawberry powder for coloring! I have often used freeze dried fruit for flavoring. I also use powdered vegetables in sauces and stews to sneak the extra nutrients into picky eaters. ❤
Thank you for sharing your kitchen with us! 😊
Always use silicone brushes in cooking. The bristles can come out of others brushes and get in your food and Lodge in your intestines and cause life-threatening problems.
Becky I have a candy recipe that everyone loves even those that don’t like white Chocolate (like me). Melt 2 cups white chocolate in microwave. Add 1 cup broken up pretzels, 1 cup of rice crispy cereal, 1 cup captain crunch peanut butter crunch cereal, 1 cup peanuts. Mix together and spread on a baking sheet very thin. Set in refrigerator till set up and hard. Use a turner to break up into whatever size pieces you like. Store in airtight containers. I have been making this recipe for about 30 years and every year friends always ask for it. So so easy to make but it’s delicious. You want only a thin layer of white chocolate to coat the cereals and pretzels so don’t over measure the chocolate.
@barbaraanderson4175
That recipe sounds delicious! I’m going to add it to all of Becky’s and have a candy goody day for my friends and family to enjoy😊
Becky is such a beautiful soul. She was blessed with a loving ♥️
Just a hint…. Set dipped candies on a cooling rack . Chocolate won’t be pooled at base.☺️. Love all your goodies today! Looking forward to cookie videos!
I was watching this gal, Suzy's Homestead, she's in Kenya and her recipes reminded me of some you cook...lots of curry's. Truly creative people like you and her are just fun to watch!
They look so delicious Happy Valentine's Day to you too
Love watching your videos. I have gone back to watch your old videos.
Did you ever think about maybe braiding your hair? I think you would look amazing in different braids.
If you put a small amount of oil on the bottom of your baking pans, your parchment paper will stick and not move 😊 makes pouring mixture in so easy as the paper stays still
I really hope that your friends are as thoughtfull to you Becky😊
I hope that you don’t take this the wrong way, but I think those Oreo truffles would be absolutely perfect for a Pink Ribbon Breakfast (an event we have in Australia to raise money for breast cancer research) 💕💕
Hello Becky, Thank you for yet another amazing video. Give that sweet son of yours a cuddle for me
We just learned from our amish friend who's been making coconut bon bons for over 40 years how to dip them. She uses the same method but will flip them over when she sets it on the tray and uses the little drizzle from what's on the fork to make a super easy decorative swirl on top. She sells them so they have to be pretty. All your treats look delicious
Hi Becky would love to see a change of pace like a live, or an answer your questions video. Have a great weekend!
Great idea!
Me too. I am curious if beekeeping is still in future homestead plans.
And if we'll evere get to see the final painted grow room. Left us on a cliffhanger there...
Oh, a live would be way too hard, there would be so many comments it would be hard to even see them!
@@Meggs23She said after the Valentines videos are over.
Becky you are truly a joy to watch!
The best sifter ever; I’m the proud owner of my grandmother’s!
Oh my gosh, they looked so delicious. Great job Becky. You’re such a kind soul to give away so many boxes to family and friend. One of our young neighbours does the same. She delivers a whole bunch of small boxes of awesome desserts at Christmas. Such a nice touch!
Can’t wait to see your new grease pot from the Three Rivers Homestead collaboration in your kitchen.
girl you're a one-woman bakery, that's SO many delicious treats you made!
Will try that Brown Butter Vanilla Fudge recipe. Thanks

Suzan I hope you feel better. I love watching Becky too. Even though I am 95 she makes me feel young enough to be doing what she does. From Baltimore Md.
Yum! I'd like to try those strawberry rice krispie treats. My husband loves all things strawberry.
You could make red, white and blue rice crispy treats for 4th of July. For the blue layer, you could use freeze dried blueberries. All the rents look delicious.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your family ❤ The treats look fabulous!
For health reasons I no longer eat sugar, but in my fantasy, that fudge has salted macadamia nuts in it 😋
OMG! I wish I was on the receiving end of those treat boxes! They look awesome! TFS all of your recipes.
Everything looked delicious and the boxes were so pretty assembled.
Happy Valentines Day to you and your family as well!

Hello from southeast Tennessee! I sooooo enjoyed watching this! Thanks you for your hard work and generous spirit for your “loved ones.” ❤️
WOW! Everything looks delicious
Happy Valentines back to you! Everything looks delicious.
Everything looks delicious.
I hope you don't mind some input from a professional baker/decorator.
You can avoid the dribbled chocolate on top of your finished candies by dipping the far side of the pan first. Keep the undipped ones off to the side so any chocolate that drips while you are working falls on the empty space instead of building up on the finished treats. It's a bit hard to put into words, I hope you can follow my thought.
For the cookie butter hearts you can optimize the # of hearts you get by flipping the cutter point up-point down, so the candies share a cut side. The downside to this method is less for the cook to snack on.
I was in Portland last weekend. I really wanted to see if you were available for a meet-up, but I couldn't find any way to contact you privately.
You rocked all those treats. You have such a big heart
I need to be your friend & move back home to Vancouver so I can get some of these delicious goodies. We are totally enjoying the honey mustard chicken marinade I use it to make my husband sandwiches & make the marinade separately & use as a dressing for salad and sauce for over his sandwiches or for dipping veggies in. I am so happy that I found & followed you.
Happy Valentines Day ❤your a great friend to Family and friends
Becky your treats all looked delicious! Really enjoyed watching you make them ! Happy Valentine's Day!
