- Crossed over 1k beautiful miles yesterday! This bike gets better and better by the day. Got a new mic, its a little better, but not perfect. Im gonna mess around and try, as im confused why i get some popping or static.. could be the actual gopro media mod... Anyway, heres a quick video!

Heated grips are a game-changer.
Have you removed your fuel tank? I was going to remove mine to install heated grips but I don’t think the tank comes up like the older models.

How is the clearance from your legs to the frame sliders?
The noise is from GoPro Media Mod which constantly switching between stereo/mono when you ride above 120km/h. Switch to Mono Mic to solve the problem.
I dont think you have the option to switch to mono on the media mod. I have since grabbed the DJI wireless mic
@@motocorn I don't mean to switch to mono cause it will be greyed out. I mean mic that has single channel only usually for mobile phone
Super looking bike. I'd go for heated gloves over grips. I hear the Triumph grips aren't great.
Im planning to have RS as my first bike early next year.
Had a chance to drive boneville, rocket and diavel… but RS is so fun…

I like the ND filter. The picture is nicer and you can play with shutter speeds to give that high speed look when it’s darker outside. One little complain, I appreciate if you drop the background music. You could include a bit when you’re not talking but if you are it’s just a distraction. Just my 2c.
I included music to slightly mask my breathing haha. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. And since the mic is right in front of my mouth, makes me feel Huge haha

You did you get a race can to fit - did you have to remove complete system & replace with another
You have to remove the stock system completely, as it is a one piece system! Using headers from the previous years is the best option because it keeps the stock catalyst. So no tune required :)

I also have the false neutral problems on mine. Especially when shifting at high RPMs (10k+). I'm still in the process of figuring out if it's me or the bike, probably me though >
Interesting! I have 0 problems up top. Mine are all low RPM and very rare.
Definitely you mate I do it on my moto 2 worried me at first but you just need to be more positive 1st to second !! Great gearbox though don't you think ?
How are your tyres looking after 1k miles? I own the same bike and I was wondering how many miles should I expect from these tyres? considering they're mainly track tyres and I know a tyre's lifespan also depends on how hard you drive the bike.
They’re still looking great! I think I could expect maybe 6-8k? Not sure really haha
you should grab 5000 miles before needing a replacement with spirited riding. i was very impressed with the supercorse v3 mileage!
When I took my bike in for its 600 service they said my tires were 90%… ??? Not sure what measurement they’re using. 50/50 road track tire so I don’t expect that many miles.
I have the Triumph brand heated grips on my Speed 1200RR and to be honest, they’re not great. Well made as with most OEM accessories but they don’t get very warm imo.

That’s good to hear, I recently got a 24 ST Moto2 and wanted to get heated grips for it but was hesitant given how lackluster the OEM grips are for my Speed.

I just hit 1K also man! Loving it except I have to go to the dealer for a check engine light...not sure what it could be yet. Been having issues with an immobilizer fault code randomly also.

Also had the immobilizer fault light yesterday on the 24 street triple RS. Went away after a restart.
@@Starzpeds curious, are you using a quadlock wireless charger above the ignition cylinder also? I can't tell for sure but I'm thinking it might be when I have my phone charging on it and I try to start it.

Aesthetically the exhaust does not fit with the rest of the bike. The bike has an angular design - no curves, unlike the exhaust. Lovely bike.
