It’s good to see companies building kits like Tamiya. It seems so incredible that this company has been able to do what so many of the legacy companies were never able to. The 3D printing, modeling and rapid prototyping available these days has given them a serious leg up against Tamiya.
Jim Rogers and the small crew at JR Salvino's knocked this out of the park. I have 3 kits coming, 1 Elliott and 2 Rollout cars. After seeing this I can't wait to get mine, Chris said sould be here Tuesday. Thank you Luka for doing this build on video. On note, Salvino's says DO NOT USE SUPER GLUE on this kit. The tolerances are so precise that you may have fitment issues when putting the body down over the chassis. Only use a styrene glue. And Luka IS NOT going to wreck the hobby with this one. Lol

Luka Cee, i have been all over the internet to see the interior floor pan and the real car the only part on the chassis jig thats white is where the actual sliver base sits and yes your right that bottom silver brace you build on isn't silver its white. The rest of the pan is Black

Half the fun of these new SSs is seeing how psyched everyone who waited is now they're landing in numbers. Quickie/Easy build or 6 month rivetcounter project these are the bom. A+ kids, good build videos and FaceBarf group too.
Its a good idea to make it this way. I want to see how it comes out with no major painting. Experienced modeler can buy one for a little Nascar fan and get them into the hobby. Especially if It turns out nice and they can say I built that.
Ok. At first I was disappointed when I found out the kit was molded in colored plastics. I am new coming back into the hobby and learned quickly colored plastics suck. However, I love that they are trying to get new people in the hobby. Especially with all the new race fans coming in, these new kits, like you said, will definitely make it easy for those no fans to get their feet wet in the model building hobby. NASCAR kits are what got me into it when I was a kid. My first kit was a mark martin kit in the early 90's. I was a huge fan of his. I might have been 7 or 8 when I built my first. It was a snap tite. No detail. But these kits, wow. For a first kit to get new and old NASCAR fans into model building, I wish we had something like this years ago with the detail kit seems to have, for a first build and not have to worry about priming and painting. Awesome. Awesome. Mine comes in Monday. I guess you would be doing days of thunder themed with those two colors. I'm going to do all five of the movie cars with these new Camaros, but I'm also searching for the original lumina's and doing all 5 movies cars from the 90 lumina kits. I've started on 2 already. Sorry for the long comment. I'm just excited for these kits. Can't wait for the other manufacturers to hit the market as well as time goes on.

I have a question, the chassis on my bowman car is warped. The tail end where the gas tank goes in pops up when attaching to rollcage. I've tried contacting salvinos but no luck. Do you think if I applied a lil heat from a heat gun will fix it?
Not for me, I'm pretty much old school when it comes to NASCAR, drag racing, F1, muscle cars, that being said....Salvino got to think ahead to stay alive, hopefully we'll see some more old school real NASCAR (😜🤪) in the future....it does look like a great kit! I'm allot like you. But I have to say. I encourage you to build one of these kits. It is very enjoyable. And it just might give you an appreciation for these new cars. You may see them in a different light.

Building plastic model kits is an anonymous adult hobby. Has been since the early 80s. But it saw an explosion of popularity over the COVID times. I have a very close friend that his hobby shop has grown into a giant wearhouse for online shopping. Look up Andy's Hobby Headquarters and his on line store andyshhq.com It's the best known Hobby shop in the world. That is no exaggeration. It's fun. You should join on in.
I sure wished these belts would have come in one piece, i simply cant figure it out and hopefully can fix the broken belt going down to the starter. because there is no other way to go
I just ordered the true color to the chassis' Its called Chassis Gray. There's actually no way to see any gray in it hardly at all. Its like a off white

And then The local hobby shops.They will charge full retail ,any where from $ 32.00 to $40.00. Not good at all. For display Queen's.

AMT did the Hendrick Chevys as a snap rite curb side kit in 2010. Then updated the rear spoiler in2011.
