I was just thinking when I saw the thumbnail that you are THE milk machine reviewer at vegan YT! I've been wondering about this machine, because the operation seems so streamlined. I very much appreciate your careful analysis, as it addresses questions and concerns I had. Thanks for posting!
We are THE reviewer 😂😂😂 I'm thinking someday maybe some company will approach the channel and then we can have our own master machine!!! -- It's hard. I definitely think each machine has its own qualities and you have to see what you value. I'm finding that the super techy ones have given me error issues at times (of which I can't fix) and I guess you can forfeit some amenities with the more basic ones. It's always good practice to find how good customer service and warranties are though ❤
@@EastMeetsKitchen As with clothes washers, fridges, and cars, the more moveable parts, the more potential failure points. That's something I keep in mind. Good advice to also be mindful about the customer service and warranties!
Can you choose the ratios of nuts to water? For example, if I wanted to make a really rich almond milk, can I add more almonds, or is the machine designed to grind only so much per batch?
Thank you for the review! It looks an interesting plant based machine. I cannot afford it now, but I'll keep it in mind if one day I decide to buy one.
Thanks so much!! So very thorough! I ordered mine on a whim…..and i am looking forward to this machine. I have bought about 5 different machines & have not been very happy ….. my first was the almond cow through kickstarter!!! It was great! And the one softer the campaign did improve a lot…. Mine ran only one cycle, while the new ones ran 3 cycles…. But eventually mine failed…..& normally i would have ordered another one…..but i wanted to try others….. i think it probably was the best unit i have used…. But i am very excited about this one….i live alone so the 500 ml should def be enough for me!! You have explained so much & i was happy to learn! Thank you~
Have you tried making soy milk in this? I'm thinking about buying but if cooking the beans before blending results in a strange soy milk then I don't want to purchase.
I know this review is seven months now. But I have a question I would like to see clarified if anyone can help me. We are a family of five. And though we don’t always eat at the same time, sometimes more than 500ml is required. So I wonder if it’s possible to just rince the filter and make another 500ml ou if it’s necessary to really clean the whole machine before making more. Thank you if anyone can help, as it would probably be a deal breaker for us.
How would you compare it to the nutramilk? Is the milk nice and creamy? Say if you used almonds or cashews? Just a thought as the qty is already specific
Hey, Thanks for the review! I was just wondering, would you recommend this for making Oat & Soya milk, or is there a better appliance for those you've found? I tend to drink mainly soya milk, with some oat, and I get through about 500ml->1ltr a day, so would be great to find something like this so that I don't create so much waste @@EastMeetsKitchen
The milk is whatever temperature water you put into the machine it doesn't heat it up so if you have any ingredients that need to be cooked you need to cook them before putting it in

A potential issue I see for my small kitchen is having the water tank on the back, so it takes up more space in order to be filled.

@chloro8306 did you learn answer? Wondering same thing
It's recommended not to use more than 1 1/2 scoops but some people have used to and said that it works just fine
I struggle with the filter opening too. Perhaps a couple of notches on the design might help. Great review.

Glad you enjoyed the review though😊

You can cook them before putting them in the machine it won't make it taste weird

Yep you can just rinse the filter then use it again however many times you need
may i ask how long i can keep the milk in the fridge for? thanks for the video! :)
So what do you prefer to use milky plant without heat or nut milk maker without filter?
Thank you for giving us a review 🥛🌱

Excellent video. Thank you.
Can you use the Milk to make capuchino it foaming in the milk
froter
Is it suitable for Soyabean milk making.
I would say it's more geared towards grains and seeds but you can make soy milk - you just have to cook the beans first.

Does it boil the water for some time? To what temperature?
