Here are some tips for Soyabella. To get a less beanie milk add a pinch of salt to the water before cooking. Don’t let the Okara dry onto the surfaces. I do not open mine until the milk has cooled down to just warm. Then I tip out the milk and fill the jug with clean water and leave until last to clean. Immediately take the Okara out of the grinder and put the mesh pot into the holder cup and fill with clean cold water to soak a bit while you then scrub and clean the blade section. Then return to the mesh pot and use the toothbrush type cleaner with dish soap to scrub down all the outside sections and then do the inside. I then return to the jug, which after soaking cleans up easily. (Be careful of the edge. It’s very sharp). My last tip is - Sometimes, after the cooking process, the mesh pot is very stuck (with Okara) to the blade section. Before you start, if you rub a little cooking oil just around the edge of the blade section just before you twist on the mesh section it helps to stop that sticking

I use a Soybella. I find the beany taste is less if I just delay taking out of the pot by about 10 minutes. I had worried that that much of a delay would make it harder to clean, but it did not seem to be a problem. I add the okara to my oatmeal, or smoothie.

I just received my Soyabella today and am in love!!! You can twist off the strainer without needing a potholder if you leave it in the collection cup and twist, the “+” sign grooves keep the bar at the bottom from moving so you can twist.

I didn’t find the cleaning to be a big deal either, just do it right after you’re done and don’t let it cake on there. The brush it comes with is great to run along the sieve walls.

To me the deal breaker is not having to strain. I didn’t find the texture of the soymilk had any grittiness that would make me need to strain it manually after it’s done.

I have a soyabella and have used it for almond & cashew milk. I've never tasted soy milk.
As a BIG birthday gift to myself I just ordered the Chefwave Milkmade machine. It's suppose to arrive in 4 days.
Do you have an opinion on the Chefwave ??
I have found that soy milk is the only non-dairy milk that works for yogurt. I've had multiple failures with nut milks.
Does a pinch of salt in the hot soy milk remove the beans taste ?

I see white around the glass top/window with the Nutr that is maybe plastic that touches the liquid? Or Silicone?
& the whole lid on the Arcmira looks plastic.
The only one I've seen so far with to plastic in contact is the Almond Cow or did I miss any? - & it doesn't make Soy milk. Maybe that's the way to go, just use nuts not bean for no plastic contact & easier clean up. Plmk you thoughts? Thanks. :)
