- Today on our Terraria 1.4 Expert Summoner Guide, we defeat the moon lord as a summoner! We begin with taking down the lunatic cultist in expert mode, kicking start the endgame lunar events! Braving through the 4 space pillars, we craft the Terraria Stardust Dragon Staff and defeat Terraria Expert Mode Moon Lord! This kinda feels like leaving the pool as a kid. I really enjoyed this summoner progression guide and i can just sink in the videos because the immersion is godly. Mixed feelings because its over but really happy that i found this channel.

I started a summoner playthrough a few weeks ago. One thing I will say about it that other classes can’t say is that it’s almost always challenging

Jokes aside I did eventually beat Moon Lord on that character. I haven't touched Terraria in months, only replied to give some closure.
It's always challenging in boss battles and events, but in mining, grinding and building no other class compares in terms of comfort and convenience
Once 1.4 comes to my console im gonna rewatch this guide and play along

Let’s just be honest with ourselves, unless you’re a professional you’re not gonna beat me Lord by yourself, I have the terra Prisma full start us armor I don’t stand a chance. Good luck to all of y’all.

Why people recommend me terraprisma. U already know that eol at daytime is much more harder than moon lord.
Well its not, you just have to get use to its attack pattern after that its honestly pretty easy boss. Once i figured it out after like 20 tires i killed her 4 times in a row during day. Meanwhile Moonlord is way more tricky for summoner because dodge everything is extremly hard and if he hits you you will really feel it.

I was really lucky with fishing quests so I got a cellphone pre-hardmode :)

I found that you have to stretch plantera out, I had multiple routes to my arena which helped by running through them a couple times when I ran out of space
Can you do mage next according to me it is the second most complex class with the variety of items and weapons

i am currently omw to defeat the nebula pillar, i have hallowed armor, pygmy necklace, star veil, SoC, charm of myths, summoner emblem and terraspark boots (everything is on menacing). from weapons i have xeno staff and deadly sphere staff, as well as durendal and morning star, should i craft the dragon staff and am i good?
You should do melee or Mage class expert progression next

last thing i'm going to leave is a tip for those who are still having problems in the "second phase": the vertical speed boost of the empress wings is very good to avoid the mini phantasmal lasers ;)

Rubbish guide as moonlord patch made killing it with summoner impossible
I Guess It Still Works On Mobile But If That Moon Lord Guy Doesnt Die Soon, Oh Boy...
But, I Was Spared By RNJesus On Multiple Occasions Summoner Emblem First Try Feather And Core First Try (Though I Used Fin Wings) Though Sandguine Staff 7th Try Isnt Soo Cool, Blade Staff Was Still Pretty Quick (Though I Didnt Use It) Plantera Dropped Pygmy Staff First Try, My Golem Fight Went Fine Although The Arena Was Trash Because All Of My Temples Are, 2nd Try Xeno Staff, Which I Was So Thankful For, Since Attempting To Farm For It Made Me Rage Quit Multiple Times And Finally First Try Kaleidoscope (And Second Try). Though Even Through All Of That (184 Hours) I Prevailed, And All Though I Didnt Even Do Prehardmode Summoner, As Changing To Summoner Was A Last Second Decision, I Still Love Summoner, Especially With Beating The Empress With, Which Is The Only Boss That Really Made My Heart Race
But It Would Be Cool If Moon Lord Wasn't As Hard As Daytime Empress :/

tbf when I first fought moonlord I was very unprepared with an incomplete arena and running low on potions. I literally used my fishron arena to fight moonlord lmao. Of course, I died on the first attempt but my goodness the stardust dragon really be carrying. He shreds moonlord so easily that I got him to 20% hp. Stardust dragon just took the fist place as my most favourite summon.
I have pretty much everything but hollowed armor. I got the tiki armor.
Just a measly 45 defence if not lower.
And always just try to survive but always get killed. Because of that light coming from his eyes... takes more than half my hp.
When you mentioned Duke fishron wings and seeing you can fly indefinitely. Also seeing that fishron wings come second place, before stardust wings.
So now I have some glimmer of hope. May be hard and may die a thousand times. But doing all the pillars and stuff everytime seems unfair. Well, thanks for the vid.

I love summoner but I really feel conflicted about this fight in particular. I don't understand why not make summons target moonlord outside of your screen, summoner is by far the hardest moonlord fight for no real reason, even melee, despite it's name, has more range at this point. Disappointed to say the least.
What if I'm playing easy mode and still struggle but i cant have infinity flight? ( I mean this drop from Empress of Light )
