Sum of best starts out at 1:09:15. Let that sink in. 23 seconds off in a run over an hour. Absolutely incredible.
sum of best is the fastest every individual segment has been done put together right? anyway with perfect luck alone that time could be very possible

I don’t know how I discovered you, Mitch, but you definitely appealed to me. Your old stuff is nice, and while I miss it, you decided to try something new with your streaming content, and I respect your decision. After all, your new stuff is entertaining too.
One of the best runs I have ever seen. Those clips first try set this run apart. If world 5s RNG with the bros was better, this would downright untouchable for a while.

8 Bitdo also makes a USB dongle so you can Bluetooth whatever controller you want to the Switch. I used to use it with my PS4 controller for Mario Maker. It’s only like $20 or something. Totally worth it.

The craziest thing was saying that botched 7-7 clip in the missed WR run blew a run you could never do better than. This finished almost 10 seconds better than that one was projected to 😂 massive. It’s gonna be a minute before this one gets surpassed, just on favorable RNG let alone getting all three clips first try. AND that movement of four train costing 6 seconds by themselves 😂😂

Honestly I can't believe people are still able to beat the records for basically any classic Mario. I just assumed all runs and cats are so optimized it was all but a forgone conclusion. kudos to you
The controller with the best D-Pad I've ever had was a third party PS1 controller with no analog sticks. The D-Pad was the same like in any other PS1 controller UNTIL it broke into 4 parts. You can't see the damage becaue it's under the shell but it had a huge impact on how the pad felt. It was soooo much better then the normal unbroken one.
I've never had a better D-Pad in my life so far.

You went from having to explain that jumping for the wand was stupid which it is unless you can get it off screen. To now having to explain where it actually saves you time I think that's progress. 😁👍

This run is going to stay on top for a long, long time barring someone doing the exact same run with W3Fort-Door 3 and W5Fort2-Jesus Clip. Even just getting nicer W5 HB movement could snag a few seconds... but holy shit this run was pristine.
@@Batmannerz well, I dont see 7.1 and 7.7 first try clips happening again anytime soon. Plus 7.9 mid clip. Being ahead before W7, I can see that happening with better RNG, door3 and Jesus clip. But, W7 no way.

I feel like the there was that one level where he jumped out of the water a couple of times and it slowed him down, but not a whole lot of times where time could be trimmed off. VERY WELL DONE!!
