In the Chabad custom of tying it though, you do count the first one but you don’t count the last one. So if you go according to that, then what the Rebbe did here in this video was 9

@@ZDude55 Now I understood why you got confused...i think that you are including in the counting the last wrap, that goes straight to the hand...but that doesn't even get included in the "counting dilema"...when the wraps passes over the ball of the bone of the wrist, it doesn't get counted at all...there's no argue about that...I hope i made things clear now
