Sir you have no idea how helpful your videos are. Every time I am having a trouble understanding my prof I quickly will run to your channel and hope that you cover the topics (which so far, you have everything) and I’ve been getting A’s on my quizzes. All thanks to you. I just want to thank you for all your hard work and I hope you don’t stop making videos and helping others too. Thank you again!!!

Thank you for your help, I am curious in Example 1, if negative charge is more desirable in more electronegative atom, would that make the boxed structure also a major contributor?

The original and the boxed one are equally major here. Drawing the one in the box is, strictly speaking, not necessary as it is not "materially different" because we have a negative charge on the same atom as in the original structure.

Hello, for the fourth example, why cant the carbon under the oxygen have a lone pair (making it have a negative formal charge)? I got the other answers, but I also had that as one resonance structure but am unsure if theres something wrong with it.

Never mind! I realized that if I do that, I will have a negative charge of 2. And that is not possible!

For the 8th example why would it not be possible to push the N lone pair to the axial carbon to form a double bond? Because its two sp3 hybridized molecules or?

If by "axial" you mean the -CH3 group that comes off the N atom directly up, yes, that methyl group physically cannot accept any more electrons. In my original resonance video I go over the resonance patterns that you're going to see for typical examples, you might wanna check those out if you haven't seen that tutorial yet.
