tomorrow never comes is a beautiful powerful song when it came to powerful songs his voice was at his best in the 70s but when it came to songs like fever and having a smooth voice he did it better in 1960 melodious ballads Elvis did better in the 1960s but powerful types of Bridge Over Troubled Waters is better in 1970 thank you
I was there back when he started. I remember night when he first sang on Ed Sullivan show. They (TPTB) wouldn't anyone to film him below his chest, because of his wild gyrating hips. That was a big no-no back then, and yet today you see performers come on stage half naked and doing everything except, actually getting it on with their background dancers. I absolutely love Elvis, there was no one that could hold a candle to the kind of natural born talent he had. I loved everything he did, but when he sang a gospel tune...chills would run up and down my spine. Not many people know that he was a very religious man. He gave so much to the poor and needy during every Christmas season, but he always did it anonymously. Too bad his life was cut so short. Thank you!
Remember when he was on stage performing n he did one of his karate kicks lol n his ankle gun went sliding across the stage hahalol what a character he was....
He was having fun with this gem.....he was just so mesmerizing. ...so many talents and of course his beautiful voice is unmatched (in my humble opinon)
Elvis is my ALL time favorite & I'm glad that I found your channel! I was loving him since my childhood thats all we did is play Elvis in my house & I'm huge fan of Queen as well... BUT Elvis is the ONE and ONLY KING OF ROCK, GOSPEL, BLUES, COUNTRY he covered it all. I was 11 yrs old when passed away very heartbroken like every other fan of his. I collected news articles pictures & made a scrapbook of him & this was way before his death. Like I said it was Elvis in my household even his fantastic Christmas Album.
Definite Elvis fan here ! Looking forward to seeing more! My favorites are “Can’t Help Falling In Love”, of course, but also, “It’s Now Or Never “, “If I Can Dream “, and one most people forget, “Smokey Mountain Boy” from the movie “Kissin’ Cousins”.
My wife turned the a.c. on high and putca large bag of ice on her forehead plus a fan blowing on her BEFORE HE STARTED TO SING THIS SONG...(LOL) ELVIS IS PERFECTION !
When he died , I was 14 years old and didn't know him . But by all the attention after his death , I started to love his music , his beautiful voice and his looks. He's still my King of Rock !! I know it's not a gospel song, but one of my favorites is "In The Ghetto"
Elvis gospel: Stand By Me, Somebody Bigger Than You And I, Take My Hand Precious Lord, A Thing Called Love. Thanks so much for playing Elvis songs. His music is priceless!
This has always been a favorite. When I was in high school marching band, I got so excited when the band director handed out the music to us. I'm sure I got in trouble more than once for singing instead of playing my clarinet. 😂😂 My favorite Elvis is the gospel though.... check out How Great Thou Art.
Has there Ever been anyone who belonged on stage more than ELVIS PRESLEY. I often wondered, could you imagine if he was named anything other than Elvis. I mean he was like totally destined for this. I mean, think if his name was George, John, Paul, Michael or Steve. Everything just fit him so perfectly from his name, to his swag (long before the word was invented), charisma, style and fashion. Just the epitome and model of what a true superstar really is. He set the bar too high. Anyone who really knows his legacy of music will never see the likes of him again...those who never delve in to it will surely never understand what true greatness that one individual can possess in the field of music.
What a loss....all these years after his death and he is STILL MISSED SO MUCH...you might enjoy " I believe " "If we ever meet again this side of heaven " "What would I do " enjoy. ..
Sold out here in Melbourne, Australia too, when they showed us the Elvis from Hawaii concert on a big TV screen at the Rod Laver Arena back in 2002. Tickets sold out in 1 hour on the first day, so they extended it an extra 3 days. They did another concert years later in 2017 m.th-cam.com/video/TWBTL6qSjLY/w-d-xo.html
Elvis's voice was smoother and 1960 the 1960 version of fever is superior to this one Elvis was always great but he's saying his best in his younger years thank you
