That man was so smokin' hot. I knew that even as a 10 year old at her first concert sitting there being mesmerized by this man. I had tears running down my face through the entire concert because it was so amazing. To see a man I'd had a crush on since I was a toddler up on that stage controlling the entire venue with a simple smile or shoulder shrug just blew me away. When he hit the stage it was like everyone inhaled and didn't breathe again until he left. Apparently, you can scream without breathing too....lol. That's just how I describe how it felt to me. I barely blinked the entire time because I was afraid I'd miss something. Someone on an interview once said that you could have your back to the door and still feel when Elvis entered the room. That's how powerful his presence was.
The thing that always stands out to me is how masculine Elvis was compared to the other entertainers. Also how handsome and the IT factor and voice. I love this man, thanks
The song is a standard covered by many over the decades, up to and including Michael Bublé. Of course, IMHO no one does it quite like or as well as Elvis in this performance🥰 Love watching your reactions! And yes- he was a painfully handsome man!!!❤️🔥❤️
Elvis still making the girls scream he loved it! You may want to see Make The World Go Away live in Vegas 1970 get tissues ready sometimes that song can pull your heart strings. If you love the blues Reconsider Baby R&B version, Stranger in My Own Hometown, there’s a song from the Aloha concert in 73 called Steamroller Blues he sings his catalog is so extensive over 800 songs. I’m sure the journey will fun for you to discover his different genres. Plus some of the songs in other languages happy discovery!
I think you had as much fun watching that as Elvis did performing it! Here's another one I think you'd like: The Lady Loves Me - Elvis Presley and Ann-Margaret in Viva Las Vegas 1964 (4:13).
Thanks. I'm thinking you get a little "Fever" whenever you hear Elvis :-) You've probably heard the Peggy Lee version. I get a little "Fever" when I hear it. Here's some Elvis trivia. "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles was written after their lead singer "Susanna Hoffs" visited Graceland and she saw his grave. It was one of their biggest hits.
Fever is an old song originally sang by Peggy Lee I don't know how many people might have covered this since then Elvis could never get over the girls screaming over him especially way back in the beginning when he realized if he moved any part of his body let alone really get down shaking the girls from spring so lot of time on stage he would tease them with just maybe a shoulder move or help move or anything just to hear him scream it made him smile because to the day he died he couldn't really understand why the women always screamed over him try his Polk Salad Annie try his cover version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters his cover version of You've Lost That Loving Feeling Trying song called I've lost you this 76 year old woman can make me a lots of lots of songs out of his 31 movies do television appearances Vegas the man only had a 22-year career he accomplished in that short period of time he's been gone 44 years and I'm missing still on Elvis stamps do AKA Elvis Junkie
I don’t particularly like Elvis , he just another singer., (I’m expecting a barrage of abuse haha ). But he has 1 that really does stand out even for a none believer in the king it’s “If I Can Dream “ 68 comeback it’s the most real I’ve ever seen him sing just beautifully sung with heart and passion. You might have already done it if you haven’t honestly have a look at it 👍
The last song of the Special. He was wearing a white suit. The song and his performance are incredible!!! So many who don't like Elvis music, aren't open enough to like something of his, much less recommend it! You're a rare individual. Thank you!!!
He’s so precious with all his laughing and goofing around lol
Ah I love elvis.
I think I may have to call the doctor ... I'm feeling very warm !!! Love that man !

This man gives me fever with those looks looking good in that suit and that voice and those teasing moves like no other

Peggy Lee sang it.
Thumbz up.
Elvis Presley was the blackist white singer, ever!
He is also more black than most black guys will ever be.
Bobby Caldwell fooled more black ppl than Elvis did. They didn’t know Bobby was black until they saw his face
this was just four years before he died .....
C’ mon the rings are everything

Beyonce sang this song in the movie "Fighting Temptations"
Unless you are Peggy Lee, this is a song that has to be done in a silly way; to take it seriously; would make one look like a clown.
Elvis did many many covers ... some good some ok some not so good. I love Elvis but sometimes to original artists are better.
The version by Peggy Lee is so much better.
