Thanks for watching, glad you liked it :-) Trip was in Jul-19, and we are planning to head back there again this year to see the northern side of the country.
As your camper had only sleeping arrangement …where you guys use to do toilet? Reason for asking is I am curious to know whether I should take motorhome or camper van for 2person
You must stay overnight in a proper campsite. They are everywhere and most have all the facilities you need :-) The various stopovers will also have toilets to use - it was never really a problem.
Hey that waterfall on the side of the road when I went back and looked at my video on my iPhone. It was marked on the map as Kirkjubajarklaustur. So doing a Google search, I found out it is called Fossálar waterfall which is located on the South Coast of Iceland, in the village of Kirkjubaejarklaustur right alongside the Ring Road .
Thanks for commenting. I have taken these names down on my notepad for future reference! It is an incredible stretch of road there with some of the small towns on the inland side of the ring road also having some incredible mountain views and diverse colours.
There are campsites all over Iceland that have showers, bathrooms, and sometimes kitchens also. The various stopovers will also have toilets to use - it was never really a problem.
The prices will vary based on the time of year, and they have probably changed since our trip last year. Both times I have visited the country I rented through www.motorhomeiceland.com... Happy Camper is usually promoted by bloggers and TH-camrs because they an affiliate program, but i found them to be poor value so I didn't use them (nor do I promote them).
Love this channel!!!
Thanks for watching. This is much older footage so hopefully you like some of the newer stuff too :-)
What is impressive is Your pronunciation of Icelandic names 😊
Nice Video 👍
Thank you :-) This is what I was most worried about when putting this video together!
Beautiful video & thanks for sharing such amazing views. When was this?
