Well that proves that even the best coatings are still going to get dirty. The beauty lies beneath the surface and that proves it’s ability to shed with a light wash process

Just applied my body 36 and I’m on my first week. 90miles round trip daily and I notice less dusting. I’m expecting similar results in a couple of weeks. Great vid!👍

I wish I had some pictures of my old ‘93 4Runner after some of my off road excursions. That Sequoia is not dirty, that would be equivalent to a few weeks of daily driving for me. It is a very nice looking truck, I’d love to have one! That coating certainly does pique my interest!

If you have owned a coated car, you know that dirt affects the hydrophobic behavior. It seems to have no affect as this coating rejects soil so well.

Good stuff. I used this yesterday on my new car & the shine looks almost like it's a show car with carnauba wax. I applied a 2nd coat & it shined a little more. Very happy, especially if it lasts 3 years or close.

Idk if I’m doing something wrong but I have installed this coating on two separate vehicles and each time I have it the 10-15 minutes before buff off and it was a pain to get off. Felt like it left a small amount of haze that reminded me of buffer trails when hit with the scangrip.

I wonder how hard the paint is. That is a huge factor if it would scratch, coating can always help harden surface but if it’s really soft I bet you it would scratch if someone wrote on it. I will be trying out diamond body 36 soon to test it myself.

What off shelve brand soap can I use to wash the car when my car is diamond coated? Can get them in Walmarts, autozone etc?

    • @theragcompany
      @theragcompany  ปีที่แล้ว

As long as what you use is PH neutral and doesn't contain protection in it, you should see the best results. Although most of us prefer to rinseless wash our personal vehicles!
The coating has chemical resistance built in so it can handle harsher cleaning chemicals, but for most washes you don't need more than ph neutral soap.

Put some proper light on the panel and then let’s see it. Having that soft lighting will make any car look good. Even the nasty swirled up black cars.
I bought a handful of these costing and am doing my own testing currently.
What I have found so far is they are not super hard curing making them harder to scratch.
So far it seems like these are just another coating like graphene, or any other new name buzzz word coating to come out.
I personally don’t see how the diamond nano coating is out perform or are better than your typical ceramic coatings.
My testing will continue and time will tell.
Keep up the great videos just please use some proper light to see the paints actually condition. It’s boarder line miss leading information and getting close to some Ceramic Pro selling tactics essentially saying these new coatings will protect your paint from going bushwhacking off roading. Cmon man… only PPF will do that.
No coating on the market does that.

    • @hmautospa

My issue with this coating is that it’s so easy to scratch, I have micro straight line scratches that I’ve never seen before with other coated cars. Idk what I did wrong but this coating seemed to make the clear super soft and now it’s so easy to be micro scratched

Coating looks great but the body 36 should have been a 50ml not a 30ml, I know 30ml is enough to coat a car but you usually try to use the least amount of product per panel because you are scared to run out before getting the whole car with a 50ml two coats are possible. Once a 50ml is available of body36 I will purchase a bottle for sure.
