You have to level the engine, the way it’s sitting up real high in the front puts the u joints and pinion at dangerous angles. I can’t wait to see it completed!

one of the first things all gbodys need are driveshaft safety loops installed. No matter if its stock or modified.

It is safety loops all high hp cars run them it is just want it sounds like a loop that goes around it so it doesn’t flop all over the place like it did
Mine has a factory one, well sort of, it's got a steel piece that goes acrossed the bottom of the driveshaft tunnel that held on by 4 bolts
@@whiteknightcutlass all gbodys came factory with that bar. It's better to upgrade it to a aftermarket one that surround the driveshaft to prevent driveshaft going thru the floor like the factory bar would cause if it decides to break.

As a person that does swaps on all sorts of cars looking at the engine sitting high and looks like the transmission is sitting with the tail down, which puts a weird angle on the Ujoints and I think that’s what happened here. Your joints came apart because of the angle they’re in.
Be careful people they got lucky that driveshaft didn’t get stuck on the street and catapulted that car because it could happen .

When I first seen the car I said to myself NOPE! The way that motor was setting in that bay! It looked like he was still trying to put it in. Not to mention the wires everywhere I thought that would be the great demise.
It’s really all them old ass parts and that srt engine and transmission is giving off way to much power he would need to do a lot of fabrication and all new parts this would 100% be a professional job and one hell of a price sticker

Horrible engineering just cuz you get a motor in and everything hooked up don't mean us ready to drive the angle was horrible. Very unsafe these guys should not be anywhere near a car especially during stupid stuff like that endangered herself and then everybody on the highway

On the other note, depend on where you're at. Maybe I can trade motor work for paint work let me know i got a 93 svt cobra foxbody that needs some head work it still runs and everything has full power Just a really bad lifter tick. Which I think it's more than that going on And I recently changed out the radiator and a bunch of other stuff and for some reason it keeps overheating. I have a purge tool for it and I still can't get it. So I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the head But the system's holding pressure so it's not making any sense to me. I even bypassed the heater core to see if that might be it and it's not. I did mess with the TPS to get it to idle better. But I'm not sure if that would make it over heat. If you can help, please get back to me.🤙
