    Maybe Google is finally getting it...probably not...but maybe...

      I've always questioned why they launched directly against Apple. Not the best business plan when you're scraping for market share 😂.

    Steve as a Pixel fanboy myself, I LOVE the raw passion and honesty in which you deliver your perspective on Google and their hardware decisions. This is what we need. Keep holding them accountable! C'mon GOOGLE GET IT TOGETHER!!!! 😤😤😤

    Truth be told, I think the regular 9pro is going to sell like crazy if they give the same camera hardware as the pro xl. But we'll see! Pixel 8pro is my second pixel and there's a lot to like! But also a lot to dislike.

    My Pixel 8 Pro has been pretty much flawless, but I'm starting to get very tired of its size (coming from iPhone 14 Pro). I'm very much looking forward to getting the Pixel 9 Pro (NOT XL). Pixel 8 and 8 Pro owners don't have any reason to worry, they'll have 7 years of updates & support. And Google's track record with promised support period has been 100% clean.

    I hear what your saying, but do you all hold Samsung to the same standard, these guys drop at least 15 phones a year lol.... Damnit i love the rant Steve you got me in tears 😂 especially about standing outside LG whom i miss terribly... Great video

      Well, yes, for instance, I've been pretty straight-forward about the A35 and how I think its odd in the Samsung lineup, but for the most part, the company has a product for each price point and does a good job (even if it's artificial) of having a set of capabilities at each price range. Google...not so much.

    I’m seriously thinking about crossing over to the iPhone 16 pro or pro max. I’m currently using a Pixel 7. They’ve gotten boring. It’s time for a change.

    They treat each model as if the development team worked in total isolation from the others. Please introduce the left hand to the right, Google!!

    Question: Are we allowed to purchase Pixel phones from "Google Fi" and use phones with another provider such as Verizon, AT&T, and so on?

      Just picked up an 8a and will be switching my 8 to them for less then what I was paying for one line with T-Mobile who's prices are crazy

    Most of reviewers never mention the constant bugs, missing features, even the camera and camera UI that used to hold pixels up above anyone else is now the most horrendous unintuitive buggy piece of crap.
    My pixel 6 Pro has lost telephoto lens switch while recording video (4k 30 with 20x zoom) was flawless but since android 14 it has never worked.

  • @DWtechfan
    @DWtechfan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    😂. Google compared to a drunk, pretty apt comparison. I really hope the Pixel 9 series is a much better experience and they’re not just rushing the 9 lineup out to focus on the 10 series. Because Google has had numerous opportunities to improve and keep screwing up. They’re a billion dollar company who owns Android but they keep making the same amateur software mistakes. They need to focus on making the core user experience flawless and stop focusing on stupid AI gimmicks that casual users don’t care about. A phone needs to function well on basics before AI can even be useful. I agree, if the Pixel 9 series isn’t done right everyone should be finished with Google. Because that’ll mean 3 generations of tensor has failed and changing to TSMC won’t fix their problems. It’ll just be switching to a new set of issues

      Looking at the benchmarks for the Tensor G4, it's only Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 performance. Embarrassing. Y'know, is the Tensor G4 even based on the Exynos 2400 because the Exynos is about 50% more powerful.

    • @DWtechfan
      @DWtechfan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pixelgaming7261 You know going in that Pixels have never been raw powerhouse phones. But, if they can manage to avoid the typical bugs and weird glitches, then their phones would still be fine. If you’re looking for raw power then you’re better off going with a Samsung or iPhone.

    Does 9 pro still have a temp sensor? If it does don't waste your $. It just shows they've learned nothing.

    • @bratanvova
      @bratanvova 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@SolitaryCrypto it's a gimmick at best, unreliable one as well. I used p8p for 2 months. They need to focus on stability not stupid features. Not untill I switched to a s24 did I truly know how terrible the tensor chip is. 👎👎👎👎💩💩💩

    People are losing interest after the 6, 7 and 8 series My pixel 6 Pro is the most inconsistent phone I've ever owned, Google is ran by Indians now who are known to cut corners and half arse things. Going to buy the Realme GT 6 for £400 and spec wise beats everything the pixel 9Pro will be for £900

    Google need to leave Samsung alone far as Parts, chips whatever they are using from Samsung. They need to hook up with LG get there best display and go back to snapdragon for the chipset.. and steer away from this apple design look.. time bring excitement back to phone game. Its plan and boring now. Once LG stepped out the phone game is so boring. Innovation is died. Phone companies scared to take chances because of certain tech reviewers. gatekeeper Tech reviewers.. it sad.

      I understand what you mean. Pixel was a quirky phone. LG was not afraid to experiment, but all that experimentation is what ultimately killed LG. I do think the 8 series is a stand out line up, and I'm excited for the 9, because it looks rugged and sleek at the same time. That said, I've been disappointed with pixel devices since 5. I have all except 8 because I returned the 8 and the 8a. I refuse to give google more money for phones that suck as bad as the Pixel phones suck.

  • @Stankpitshentai
    @Stankpitshentai 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The crazy thing is I just got off with Google tech support and started a RMA for my pixel 8a! The phone gets hot to the point that it crashes while the camera is open. Last month I returned the pixel 8 because it was a buggy mess! Scrolling through apps was choppy to the point that it would scroll back up on its own. I clicked and licked accidentally on so many posts and links because my feeds would automatically scroll back up while I was trying to scroll down! What's going on at Google? My Pixel 6a is wonderful in terms of scrolling and charging. Battery life is barely okay but I'm not a power user. Come on Google! I ditched iPhone for your pixel and this is what I'm met with.

  • @Stankpitshentai
    @Stankpitshentai 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    i swear if the 9 is a broken choppy mess like the 6, the 7, and the 8 were and are currently, then im just quitting google and jumping to IOS.
