Just bought a pair yesterday and they work pretty good! I was surprised with the bass of the buds once the right ear tips are selected and bass boost initiated...they are comfortable and the wing helps keep them in my ear!
The Pixel Buds were, to me, perfect with the exception of battery life. The fact that the controls were universal on both ear buds (whether with both on or just one) were/are a feature that most of not all ear buds lack. My Samsung Buds+ are a close second because of their awesome (and still unbeatable) battery life.
What's your opinion on the Google buds pro?
@@Icedrous I miss the wing tips from the previous Google Buds. Also, the vent that relieved the pressure is missed as well. Aside from those two omissions, Google managed to combine all the things I loved about the Samsung Buds+ and the Google Pixel Buds and added ANC to boot.

The call quality is great. I never have any complaints from anyone when I speak through my Google Pixel buds series A. I just hate that they took away that swipe gesture. I find myself wanting to use it and then it's not there. There was another TH-camr that just said we can use the voice trigger option to control the volume which I do but if you're in a certain environment you don't want to just be using the trigger You just want to quietly adjust your volume without bothering anyone else around you.
Did you face any issues with calls while using whatsapp/ google duo or any VOIP app? My sony wf 1000xm3 picks up a lot of background noise during the calls. But in normal calls it works fine.
Great review. To me the sound of your voice using the mic is pretty good. I'm open for suggestions from viewers who happen to see this comment. I've had a Jabra Storm, and now own a Voyager Legend, and both have this hugely annoying issue: When i use them in a quiet room, the noise cancelling feature attacks my voice from time to time, giving the person i talk to the impression i stand in the other end of the room, far away from the mic. SO annoying. To stop that behavior i either have music playing while i talk, not ideal, or have to clap or make other noises when it happens. I know several Voyager Legend owners with the same issue, and have had my Jabra Storm tested by someone else, who also ran into that issue. Don't understand why companies create headsets that doesn't work properly. ..aaanyways: If people have good suggestions regarding headsets, wireless, that actually work, i'd love to head about it.
I'd recommend the Galaxy Buds+

They are great! Love Google assistant and getting and responding to text messages is awesome. Sound quality & calls are great. Comfort is A+. The only thing I miss is not be able to control volume from the bud itself but the sound control helps and the price makes up for it. Great review.
How is call quality and microphone? I see the microphone is pretty weak in some of the videos

Good review. So what color do you think they are? Also, might one not say that battery life had to take a hit for sake of making them so small?
Samsung Galaxy buds+ is around the same price now but has more features like ambient sound which is not gimmicky and actually life saving sometimes
I like my pixel buds a lot for the most part but my one gripe is that after wearing them after a while the upper ridge of my ear that they sit against starts to actually kinda hurt. I probably just have a weirdly shaped ear honestly.
The only thing I like with pixel buds is the case which I find to be the best in the game.
If not for the Google assistant hands free I am really not ready, to make me listen constantly, nope.
For some people it's a must have, for me it's an intrusion.
This is really the only advantage of pixel buds over other earbuds on the market which in all other aspects are the same and usually better for much less.

I'm watching this video on my Pixel 4 XL while listening on my Pixel Buds A-series.
I bought some, and loved the concept of them. None of the tips stayed in my ear, and kept pushing themselves out. And I didn't spend $138CAD to fiddle and "put up" with earbuds. If they would have fit properly they would have been perfect; small, only had to charge them once in the 5 days I had them, case was so small.
I did all the tricks; i put them in and twisted them, I made sure the wing had a grip on the back of the ear, tried all the sizes, made sure I wasn't just jamming them in my ear. I guess I just have funny shaped ears.

I have galaxy buds plus also the only problem I have Is that I spilled Dr pepper all over the case and the case no longer charges
The pair I owned had a major flaw. They didn't work if you put your phone in your pocket. They just cut in and out constantly. When I would go for a walk, I would pop my AirPods in and get some tunes going on my iPhone X, then drop my phone in my back pocket. I never gave it a second thought. I recently switched to a Google Pixel 4a and Pixel Buds A Series. I start on a walk and drop the 4a in my pocket and the Buds just cut in and out constantly. They were unusable with the phone in my pocket. I went through Google support and they heard it on the call and would have replaced them. I chose instead to swap them at Best Buy. The second pair I got had the same flaw so I took them back as well and got the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro. They work great with my phone in my pocket! The Pixel Buds A Series have a serious flaw.
This was an absolutely wonderful video to watch after I purchased a pair of pixel bud a series I did not get The OG pixel buds, however, I do have the pixel Bud a series. I'm a little bit bummed out about the wireless charging, but it is what it is. I am currently using them along with their Pixel 6 to make this comment. Thank you very much! Great video.

Can you do comparison of microphone with other competing brands next time? At least we know how good or bad it is at that price point.

since you mentioned you always use one side of the earbuds, did you encountered the deteriorate of battery life on that particular side which always wore?

I've had them for a month and have to say I really like them, especially since i got them for free with the purchase of my pixel 7. Sound is just as good as my Jabra Elite Active 75t. They are also very comfortable, but I'm still getting used to them and have to say the Jabra are just a little more comfortable.
A great utility item for the price point. Unfortunately the sound quality doesn't live up to my standards. Would I buy again? Probably not. I'd pay a little more for better audio.

got the buds recently and they didn't fit in my ear correctly and once I found out how to wear them correctly, I didn't like how I couldn't put the buds completely in my ear canal. had to return them and now I'm waiting to buy some Sony earphones.
Do you have to hold it down to get Google Assistant? Or can you activate it using the wake command such as Hey Google?
How did you get the alert notification for the case and buds, is that only available on a pixel phone?

These are comfortable but for some reason these leave too much space in my ear so they slip while I walk. The battery life also isn't good as you mentioned and they are not loud at all. Still debating on returning these. The bass is weak on these. They are clear but not as clear as some budget earbuds I have. Still haven't decided if I'll return them. Need to decide tomorrow

Check out the case that Nomad makes for them. Last I checked Google sells replacement buds but not a replacement case. A case for your case just in case.
Is it worth it over the Samsung where I got an Samsung and I want a good pair of buds without spending a lot$ 99 to 150 but from a good earbuds

I have the buds+ got them for like $60 I feel like google coulda added the volume feature which I am use too on the buds+ with a simple software update but I guess it's more to it than that

I seriously wished that the buds pro would have those in-ear hooks as well... Anything else falls out of my ears WAY too easily.
