My husband's nephew is a cholo. In '15 we went to Guanajuato and @ first his nephew assumed bad b/c I'm a gringa. But we spent Christmas there & I got to know the rest of the family, etc. .. Before we left, his cholo nephew said to me "I like u. U r accepted into our family. I nvr saw a gringa drink that much champurrado!" 😄 I been w/my husband almost 11 yrs now .. Gringos & Mexicans got a few differences but not much.
