Dude, if I'm being honest, my mentality is anchored DEEP in the past. I didn't even begin to accept that realization until very very recently. I used to mock clips I've seen of you jogging and shouting. I'm tearing up as I'm typing this, just thinking about how much of a coward I've been without even letting myself realize it. I'm literally homeless, under a bridge, laying on a mattress, binging youtube videos after I just stuffed my face with beer and thousands of calories of fast food... And I'm like wtf am I doing? I'm watching all these youtubers do things that I've always wanted to do... And I feel like I could do it better if only I had a chance... Like, as if someone is going to find me and drop a big break in my lap. Then I thought, "Where's that Goggins video I used to mock? Wtf makes me think I'm anyone to mock him? I'm a fucking bum." I found the video, watched it, and this time I actually listened to your message. I can't run from my demons. Can't 'fake smile' them away. They ARE the fake smiles -_- so I searched "overcoming victim mentality" on youtube, and this was the first vid I saw. I can't outrun demons, and I can't outrun you lol not even on the internet. I'm going to be 10% better. Where I'm at now definitely isn't my highest potential. I also have a 4th grade reading comprehension level... There's a bookstore not far from my camp. I'll look for your book when the sun comes up.
The concept of self responsibility is not common or being taught in university today. They're teaching people to be victims! One thing that is successful people have in common is they take accountability for their actions and if one does not address their short cumming, nothing changes.
The problem with you and society is that you only believe in self responsibility when the situation is negative, not when it's positive. When someone fails, they should take responsibility but when someone has success someone else should take the credit...sounds like double standards doesn't it?

Because if your constantly hurting yourself with internal dialog that shows your weaknesses in a destructive way. (Instead of inspiration, it destroys you). I think it's important to see the intention behind the words. "I don't want to be stupid anymore" vs "I am stupid" one has intention and other sounds like a absolute.
Goggins is a beast gave me the spark to change my fuckin life i was a 1 timer man always living on yesterday achievements i fuckin burnt my life to the ground over and over by being a victim hiding from my fear and covering my insecurity I was totally fake as fuck and in so much denial I didn't even know i was a fake weak punk. Ill never be the best but I can be better than yesterday its me against me

I usually have good internal dialogue and then I get attacked n then im like wtf everyone's attacking me n taking shjt then I lose my Good self talk. But idk maybe I should write a book but I'm afraid to breath more life into.

Its hard when u live with others n can't control then its their house cost a lot of rights and my circumstances are such I'm stuck atm. Idk I guess im looking for the more concrete way of doing it. How to not be a victim when you have zero control over 90% of yr lifes choices. Idk how to do it I can be Told a million times do it..how? Just do it.. sounds like it is something we have about as much control of as our breathing or heart beat it sounds like that to me when ppl say these things are as hard to comprehend and make literal in a concrete way is like saying to control ur heart beating and then trying to explain to someone else how ur doing it's involuntary. What I've said is just a fragment of an explanation to my life story in relation to the concept of self awareness and the misunderstanding of self victimisation from the outside perspective. Feel free to explain the "entire" concept. To me, there were multiple concepts within this video, motivation being one of them. Self respect, courage, the weakness of compassion to name a few.
