Not forgetting Otterburn Ranges are MOD property and are still subject to live firings from time to time

Hi Ida, sorry I had no idea you were on the other side of the world. Im not sure why I thought you were here in the UK? Never mind glad you enjoy my work. Im pretty sure you will enjoy the rivers project when I get started with it. There are 8 rivers and I think each river will be a series on its own. I will be posting a bulletin about it soon. Meanwhile the third repost of the original films will be out friday and then episode 2 of the new series will be out friday 23rd. Keep supporting the channel by giving likes, shares and donations if you can. My very best wishes Jon

Thank you Jon, I’ve visited UK many times in the past, love everything about this civilisation, glad you live in a part of it which I haven’t been and still looks like the UK I’ve seen in 1966 when I first visited
Today I only travel through publications and videos
      Yours are precious

Hi Jon. Big fan of your work. I have lived in various areas of Northumberland all my life and have travelled to each corner of this county.
I'm fascinated in the history of Northumberland, and would love to delve into it a bit more. Are there any books you would recommend me reading? Keep up the great work, and I very much appreciate the time and effort that goes into these videos 🙂.

Thanks Aaron for your comments. My research is all done online and Ive been privileged to have direct contact with historians living in the areas Ive covered (though not this trilogy that gave birth to the channel - that was all done off the top of my head). These people I refer to have produced PDF's and pamphlets but not books you would find in Waterstones.
If you search the following names it might lead you to publications but I cant be certain.
John Sadler from "Time Bandits" the leading authority on everything Northumberland.
Barry Mead curator of Cresswell Tower
Dr Caitlin Green Cambridge University Roman Britain - Anglo Saxon Britain - Place names - archeology many papers produced.
Brian John Hastings "The Tide is on the turn" booklet produced on history around South Shields and Whitburn. (will be featured in the forthcoming episode 5 of the current series).
This should get you a start and may lead you to other people and authors.
Many thanks for your loyalty and support, as a taurean loyalty is paramount to me. Any thing you can do to support my channel is deeply appreciated wether thats likes, shares, or donations. My very best wishes Jon

Hi Joe thanks for your comments. Not sure how you missed it but glad you enjoyed it. As I said its not in the same depth as my current stuff. This was the period when I was just making films for friends. Hope youve enjoyed the rest of the channel. Last of this series will be up on friday coming, dont miss that. Best wishes Jon
