How to replace the brake light in a 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 Toyota Corolla

Thanks for video. First time writing on here. I own an old Toyota Matrix 2004, basic model. There's an issue with the rear brake light on the right. Left side is fine. Tried to change the bulb. it's not that. Pushing break pedal only lights the left side. I also noticed that when the engine is off, and I turn the headlights to high beams, the lights in the back also light up - and both sides. - all the lamps! I know, this sounds like a mistery. Any advice would be aprreciated. Thx.

Hi and thanks for watching. It is hard to know for sure unfortunately. If it was me I would try a different bulb first just to be sure that it wasn't a bulb issue and go from there. Sorry I cant be more help, I hope you are able to get it fixed and thanks again for watching!

Great video! However, you should wear gloves and use bulb Grease.

Hi Thanks for watching! The tail and brake light should be the same, I'll have to verify when I make the video. The turn signal is same bulb also but orange color. I will make a video for the other two in the next week or so. Getting dark early will have to find a good day to do it.

@@brownboii999xx Hi again! I would try making sure the bulb is in there correctly first and try a new bulb. If that doesn't work it might be wiring but hard to know without being there to see it. Good luck hope you get it fixed!

Most likely the bulb needs to be replaced. There are two filaments in the bulb. One is probably burnt out.

Hi. Hard to know for sure without seeing it. Does the other side work? Could be a bad fuse or switch. Verify is correct bulb. Hope you figure it out.

Try to use gloves so it doesn't shorten the life of the bulb due to the grease on our hands
