It bears mentioning that Naruto's base Chakra levels would be _considerably_ higher as an adult than they were during the War Arc. People _routinely_ forget, but Chakra is a mixture of physical and spiritual energies, and it was mentioned _super early_ in the series that both of _those_ aspects can be trained to higher levels through meditation and exercise. Physical maturity would _also_ contribute to the available Chakra an individual has, since, logically, an adult is physically _much_ more capable than a child and would have more physical energy; they'd have more spiritual energy as well, simply by merit of being older, wiser, and having more life experiences under their belt. This is also the reason that the Third Hokage was mentioned to have _lost_ Chakra compared to his prime, since in his old age his physical energy had declined precipitously. Unless Naruto, between the War Arc and Boruto, _completely_ stopped training altogether, his Base Chakra capacity would be _quite_ a bit larger overall. Consequently, even with only _half_ of this Chakra, he could _easily_ have as much or more Chakra than he did in Base during the War Arc.
Yeah it makes no sense for Naruto’s chakra to be high jounin level like you don’t see Kakashi with NINE TAILS amount chakra. It’s even more supported with Kakashi saying Naruto has 4x times as more chakra than him and I personally think that since most of Naruto’s chakra was at the time battling with Kurumas, it was at least 10x more. Naruto most likely got more chakra since then since it was the Hidan arc the statement was said. I think he has really high kage level chakra at bear minimum.
@@tickmop During the Land of Waves Arc, Kakashi _did_ mention that Naruto had some 3x _his_ Chakra capacity... and mentioned via internal monologue that it'd be more like _100x_ if so much of Naruto's Chakra hadn't been tied-up via the Eight Trigrams Seal. This was _12-year-old_ Naruto. And when Hashirama mentioned that Naruto was approaching the level _he_ was at his peak, he was referring to _day-shy-of-17-year-old_ Naruto... and Hashirama died _probably_ in his forties, close to the peak of his power. I _cannot_ envision Hokage Naruto post-nerf being _any weaker_ Chakra-wise in his Base state than his Base state in Naruto: The Last. He's an _Uzumaki_ for crying out loud! His _physical energy_ is _off-the-charts_ ridiculous by default, and time will only _increase_ his spiritual energy.
@@anthonylamonica8301 I want to clarify, you got the scenes and context wrong. While talking to Naruto about learning the Rasenshuriken, Kakashi told him that he had 4x his chakra. Then, in his next sentence, he said that if Naruto had tamed the 9-tails, he would have 100x his chakra. It wasn't during the land of waves, if anything was said there he may have said Naruto in Kyuubi Influence has 3x his chakra but I can't remember either way on that one.
This point is one of the biggest things missing in the video... Naruto has Hashirama's cells in his arms, he should have the same healing factor and wood release.
The problem with power scaling the Naruto universe is that it's hugely inconsistent during the show, so everything would change depending on the reference you're using. The main example is Minato sealing half Kurama when he was exhausted: that makes zero sense whatsoever.
exactly, like it's never stated that minato has a huge chakra pool that's anywhere near comparable to a tailed beast, let alone Kurama, who is known to have the largest amount of chakra.

it always surprises me that hashirama was this strong on his own and could have at any point destroyed madara. Madara always needed help not to go toe to toe with him but to stay alive. Even with the strongest tailed beast he could not beat him. Hasirama knew just how strong he was but never went all out because he wanted madara to be there with him.
Now that Naruto doesn't have Karama doesn't that mean he could summon Ma and Pa and do the fusion like Jiraiya and have them pull in nature energy. The only reason he wasn't able to do that before was because Kurama didn't want to share space with them. Then once Kurama warmed up to Naruto and they became a team Ma and Pa were unneeded. Kurama is gone so Naruto could summon Ma and Pa and have infinite Sage mode.
Naruto is clearly really good at senjutsu, at this point it feels to me that the toads don't add anything other than maybe useful support but not even particularly by being fused with Naruto.
My only issues with using Naruto’s final fight with Sasuke is that Naruto was holding back the entire time, so did Indra’s Arrow really overpower the Rasenshuriken or did Naruto purposely make it weak to not hurt Sasuke? Either way love the video, love you Nick, and can’t wait for the next one.
Saying Naruto permanently lost 50% of his chakra is like saying Naruto lost the natural ability to regenerate chakra that everyone in the Naruto verse has.
@@Mr.BrainMeat It's exactly the same. The one producing the chakra is the user not the chakra itself. You have to destroy the cells that produce chakra to make chakra stop regenerating.
Assuming Naruto was also conferred the releases of the other tailed beasts even post Kurama's death. He might still have access to Boil Release to boost him. It may not be as substantial as KCM modes, but it could still be nothing to sniff at.

Shadow clone chakra wasnt actually split evenly, Neji in OG naruto at first could figure out the difference between the clones and the real Naruto, NAruto just figured that out and changed how he made the clones, so In theory at least Naruto could make the clones with less chakra per, probably wouldnt change the outcome by much though
In Neji’s case, he’s just got really good powers of observation. He first noted that the chakra was evenly split between the clones and that he couldn’t tell who the real one was; then he attempted to pick out the real Naruto by observing his behavior- he saw one body staying in the back lines, avoiding combat, which was a dead giveaway of that body being the real one. Naruto played that part really smart by deliberately leaving a clone in the back like that to bait Neji, while he hid himself amidst the rest of the clones.

Canonically Naruto mastered the ultra big ball Rasegan, and its later shuriken version, using sage mode. In fact, it was that very jutsu Naruto used in his inner battle against Kurama when he first managed to separate Kurama's Chakra from his will. Every time Naruto tried using Kurama's chakra to make a Rasegan it either turned into the vermillion Rasegan or a mini tailed beast bomb.
Its kinda unfair to scale Naruto in his fight with Sasuke, in fact that fight is pretty much a huge boost to Naruto as he was holding back the entire time, to the point where his base Rasengan cancelled out a Amaterasu + Chidori clash

So by use of the ability naruto burned half of his max reserves away using the technique, that's why Karama DIED in the first place. He did intact destroy half of his own natural Chakra and lost his tailed beast on top of that *permantly*
While naruto could collect a lot of sage Chakra, he still would be limited by how much of his own Chakra he has because you have to blend the nature energy with your own in a perfect mix or you get a imperfect sage art or turn to stone
You forgot to mention that Naruto boxed Momoshiki AFTER being almost completely drained of all of both his own AND Kurama's chakra AND tanking the arena explosion at point blank range to protect the village so he was in a greatly diminished capacity.

I'd just like to push back on a couple of points. Naruto resorted to clones for replenishing sage mode because Kurama wouldn't let him fuse with ma and pa. But without Kurama, that option is back on the table. So Naruto could potentially replenish sage chakra for as long as ma and pa are fused to him. And it would free up his shadow clones to REALLY assist in the battle. Second, in toad sage mode, Naruto does have a healing factor, though admittedly not as good as Hashirama's. That said, I'm inclined to agree with you. Hashirama wins this, but not by much.
How long does it take him to summon Ma and Pa? I don't remember how long it took him Vs Pain, but I do remember Jiraiya spent half his fight Vs Pain running away stalling for time to summon them

I would like to mention one thing. In shippuden, Kakashi mentions that Naruto has about four times more chakra than him, but if he didn’t have Kurama in him and didnt need to maintain the seal, he’d have 100 times more. Which in theory means that Naruto now has 25 times more chakra than before, without Kurama. And ALL of that can be turned into Sage Chakra. So he’s not as much weaker as people say In other words, assuming he lost half his TOTAL chakra, he still has 12.5 times the amount his old base form had. So somehow he STILL has more chakra than Hashirama
Thank you for actually recognizing the various fighting styles and how power alone means nothing ;.; I find that Naruto is a bad match-up when fighting Hashirama based on how they both fight. So when you take away Naruto's power cell, it suddenly gets a lot harder to blitz and overwhelm the literal definition of a tank in the Ninja world.
32:24 I thought the manga explained that Gaara is able to control sand due to his chakra being infused into it. It was even explained that his automatic sand defense was not due to Shukaku but his mothers essence being imbued into the sand and Gaara soul.

35:09 I thought that was regen brought on by being the Ten Tail's Jinchuriki not Hashirama's cell's? Wouldn't Rasenshuriken also prevent Hashirama from regenerating to begin with, after all it deals out damage on the cellular level which we've been shown also effect's a chakra network/tenkestu.
Hopefully, Kishimoto makes Naruto's return to greatness worthwhile if he even does it at all. Chapter 80 has me worried and made me lower my expectations by a lot until Kishimoto actually hints at something great for Naruto.
On the naruto splitting chakra evenly with his clones part, we've seen in the war arc that naruto's clone made other clones....so can't technically naruto make only one clone, thus be left with 50% of his chakra, then have the clone make a few other clones, thus not splitting main naruto's Chakra anymore??
Would still love to see a video on how strong a kimimaro absorbed orochimaru could have been, orochimaru is much stronger than most realize and considering he was taking on four tails cloak naruto and that wasn't even his strongest form, he has alot of power, his hyrdra form is really strong and lets be honest the one shot he received from the totsuka blade left people thinking orochimaru was weaker than he is, but imagine if he hadn't tried to take Sasuke's body, and took Kimimaro's body with his kekei genkai, combine that with his hydra form or mixture of jutsu he could of been a serious force to be wreckoned with, kimimaro was surviving massive sand burials in terrain covered in sand so it was basically full power and he was practically unscathed, how much of a threat could orochimaru have been with these abilities and if he didn't get one shot, who could orochimaru beat/destroy, he can resurrect the dead, his snake jutsu techiniques give him great survivability feats, he was a rival to the fourth hokage for the position who could orochimaru have destroyed and beaten throughout the series with this combination and if he didn't get one shot by the 1 shot blade itachi had, how many of the akatsuki could he have destroyed, I've never seen anybody ever cover this in detail and would love to hear your thoughts on how much of a threat could a kimimaro absorbed orochimaru could of been and how far could he have gone power scale wise if not one shot by the hax blade
Funny enough in the video games, Orochimaru kinda implies he could've just beat Sasori and Tendo Pain at the same time and taken the Rinnegan (although we know he wouldn't get the Rinnegan since it was in Nagato, not in Tendo Pain). Orochimaru kinda destroyed both Tsunade and Jiraiya at the same time while severely weakened and no arms also. Which is, quite insane since Kisame was scared of base Jiraiya.

Naruto reached hashirama levels when kurama told him he could use sage mode with kcm. By that point, he had already surpassed minato by kuramas statements about his ability to control and transfer larger amounts of chakra, and this Naruto added sage mode (which can take a ninja from jonin level to sannin level). If they actually fought at that level, hashirama has the counter to deal with the chakra of the ninetails. Hashirama would win.
Yes hashirama wood dragon can absorb tail beast chakra. Tail beast bomb has no effect on Wood Golem. Naruto has no counter to Shinsusenju. Only 6 path sage mode naruto can beat Hashirama. And of couse, Baryon mode is overkilled and would kill Kurama.
It was actually displayed in the original series that shadow clone doesnt require an even split of chakra to operate. I believe it was during the Neji fight that he produced an uneven split in the chakra put into his clones to trick him into attacking the wrong person.
Great video, but i disagree with the statement that Naruto cant produce sage chakra while fighting except if he uses shadow clones. I think so because of Ma and Pa, who Naruto should be able to fuse with, so they can collect the sage chakra for him. That should make Naruto an close to equal sage as Hashirama. Correction: did everyone forget that kakashi said without Karamas chakra in competition with his own Naruto’s chakra is 100 fold, he is a uzumaki and his stamina is off the charts even for his clan.
I've seen others mention it already so I wont go into detail, but as you train through meditation you can increase your chakra levels. Also when you couple that with the fact that kakashi explained to Naruto that he was expending WELL over the amount of chakra needed to perform justu due to his poor chakra control, which certainly gets better with age. Even sasuke who could only use chidori twice when first learning it is able to use it FAR more times in combat by the war arc and as an adult. AGE = More skill = More Power. While Hashirama was DONE training by the time he fights with Madara (because he died). Adult Naruto has had 16 YEARS of additional training from that time.
Even still, Naruto also can cheat in a way literally nobody else in the series can using shadow clones since he accumulates the experience and power his shadow clones gain while training with them. Naruto would use his shadow clones all the time throughout Boruto to do tasks for him, plus we probably don't see any of the shadow clones he uses to train passively with. We just don't really know just how strong Naruto had gotten since the war arc. For all we know base Naruto is at least 100x stronger than his war arc self, which means his nerf only makes him 50x stronger than his war arc self......which is still ridiculously strong
I understand that it is difficult to be accurate for current Naruto since he hasn't really done anything, but most of the stuff you mentioned was stuff that Naruto had done after constantly fighting the strongest people in the war. Like, there is no way Naruto and Sasuke were even close to full power when they fought each other after the war. When Hashirama mentioned that Naruto and Kurama's chakra was close to his when he was alive, Naruto was nearly tapped out of energy compared to what he would be at full. He had sent shadow clones all around the battle field to help others battle impossible enemies during the war. He fought Itachi and Nagato. He fought 7 Jinjuriki at the same time, he had fought Obito and the ten tails. Before the alliance showed up to help, Naruto was basically completely out of chakra and barely had time to recover, and only after all of that did Hashirama say "huh, that's almost as much as I had" Now you can argue that receiving six paths completely replenished him, But then he fought ten tails Madara and then Kaguya. Then he and Sasuke fought. This topic is a difficult one to cover and I do think you covered it well, there are just a few points I think you omitted, either intentionally or unintentionally. Interesting theory: While on baryon mode, Kurama was gathering nature energy to burn instead of Naruto's chakra to make sure Naruto survives. Cause at the beginning Kurama mentioned that they would both die if they used baryon mode. So maybe after that conversation Kurama came up with the idea to absorb nature energy for Naruto to keep him alive. That would make complete sense why Naruto had exactly half of his chakra left at the end. Cause it is stated during the sage mode training that you can only absorb an amount of nature energy equal to you own chakra. So at the end of the Isshiki fight Naruto was left with half his own chakra while the other half was burned with the nature energy
Neat theory. Except there's the fact that it's directly stated it's their Chakra clashing with each other, and nature energy isn't Chakra. Senjutsu may work similarly, but it's not known. Naruto also had "around half" of his Chakra left, not exactly half.
Idk it makes no sense that Naruto's own chakra got burnt away and never came back. I can see it happening to Kurama but no sense for Naruto to lose half of his own and not get it back.
@@Xeno574 Well it they were exploding their Chakra against each other to create something else entirely, so that could explain why naruto permanently lost it. But yeah, no matter how much Chakra he uses, as long as his capacity for Chakra itself isn't lowered, it should replenish over time. Same with using any other jutsu. In that vein, you could argue that his body was irreparably damaged by using baryon mode, thus lowering his physical energy, and since Chakra is spiritual and physical energy, lower physical energy would mean lower overall Chakra. Although, in the end, we all know it was just an excuse to nerf naruto since he was too strong for boruto, same with Sasuke losing rinnegan.

Umm Nick have you forgotten when the tenseigan almost drained Naruto and Kurama's chakra to zero. The explosion generated by the attack was so powerful it blew the Moon's back out. Naruto tanked this and it took three days for Sakura to recover his chakra.
Keep in mind that Madara also had Sage made. Which from what we know about Toad Sage mode, you also get a "Danger sense" ability which may also be the same for Hashirama's sage mode.
Just wanted to mention that while using Naruto boxing with fused momoshiki is good he also just got a ton of his chakra tanked so was boxing while already pretty damn weakened
in shioouden kakashi states that naruto in base has 4x more chakra than him... and then later says in his mind "it'll be around 100x if he wasnt suppresing the 9 tails" and this is pre-war naruto like very early shippuden.. usually people only get more and more chakra as they age or hit their peaks... in boruto naruto is like 33 years old which is around the age kakashi is in shippuden... also naruto is able to make giant rasengans while in base which he needed sage mode to do before... further suggesting his chakra reserves are higher now... I'd say base naruto is still 100x more chakra than shippuden kakashi after losing kurama... and he'd be 200x with use of sage mode...
Naruto should be able to use ma and pa to continuously take in naturechakra, plus he would be able to use gamakichi to nullify the wood jutsu with combined fire jutsu. Or he could even use lava... I think.

My two main thoughts after this are 1) Does the limitations of shadow clone use to gather sage energy change the viability of that strategy in the Itachi vs Minato fight, and 2) eight gates Hashirama vs Baryon mode? Or maybe just a video on what the heights eight gates Hashirama could reach of Bayron is still untouchable.
Edo hashirama wasn't made by kabuto and was incomplete the way orochimaru reanimated them he was approximately halved in chakra level Also current naruto has a great healing factor BECAUSE he has one arm made of hashirama cells Which we learned that obito was able to spam his sharingan use because he had those cells and it was constantly healing him

There is something that you're forgetting regarding current Naruto's speed that puts him in that "speed-blitzing" range. During the fight between Borushiki and karma-awakened Kawaki, Kawaki stabs Borushiki with a bunch of rods, sends him falling, and was about to crush him with one of those cube things. Sage mode Naruto was able to rescue Borushiki and we know from that fight that he was considerably far away for him to be able to react to them. This, at the very least, puts him in the range as Borushiki and Karma-awakened Kawaki in terms of speed. Because we know that Kawaki at this point is fully Otsutsukified, and that Karmas give you not only the power but all the battle iq of the person who you got it from, we can assume that Karma-awakened Kawaki is around the same range in attack speed as at least Isshiki. Therefore in terms of speed SM Naruto ~ Kawaki ~ Isshiki. It might've been a mental amp but if it can allow SM Naruto to reach that level of speed, then Hashirama would definitely not be able to react to him.

Two things.. one, since Naruto lost Kurama, he could have been rebuilding his chakra and might not even take that long for him because of his Uzumaki blood. And two, since Naurto doesnt have kurama, he can just summon the toads like Jiraiya and let them absorb sage energy. Obviously pa is dead but they must toad successors. And Naruto losing half his chakra.. could just mean that him and Kurama combined equal 100% and him minus Kurama means he lost 50%, and Kakashi said he had 6times his charka.. but Kakashi could beat Naruto when he said that.. doesnt mean that cause Hashirama has more chakra, he is stronger than Naruto or could beat him. Naruto speed is way too crazy for Hashirama to handle.. no matter what happens, Naruto would speed blits him.
Is Pa dead? He was one of the many that Nagato revived at the end of the Pain arc. Did he die in Boruto? But even so, the way Ma and Pa were talking during Jiraiya’s fight against Pain made it sound like one of them would’ve been enough to maintain Sage Mode.
I believe your first point is plausible since it's been showcased many times that one has the potential to increase their Chakra reserves. However as far as Kurama, you're under the assumption that he contributed only half or less of Narutos total power output when that was never explicitly stated. But following that logic, when Naruto lost Kurama he would have on average lost half his power, placing him at 50%. And again, that's if we assume both Naruto and Kurama were contributing half of the total output. Also as a side note, his speed feats were only ever performed in KCM, so without it there's no telling how fast he is these days (not to be confused with reaction time). Unfortunately, there's just not enough evidence to support his current power. Which is precisely why Nick examined the feats we've already been presented with in his base.

Naruto and Sasuke do not have Sage of The Six Paths chakra anymore since the seals returned to Hagaromo when the fight against Madara ended. Naruto DOES NOT have more chakra then Kuruma.
Theoretically, naruto could use Ma n Pa to enter sage mode similar to Jirayia no? That would negate the advantageous fighting style for sage mode. Now thay he doesnt have Kurama's chakra interrupting them from doing so. This opens his strategies and attack potential pretty significantly, especially since it would add genjutsu to his arsenal. Still think Hashi wins with high difficulty.

"Who is the strongest Hokage", I think you can angle two ways: 1.) Who was strongest in their Prime. 2.) Who is the strongest one at the moment. So... For 1.) we have to account for Naruto + Kurama (Pre-Baryon Mode), but without the lent chakra from Haguromo. For 2.) we have only have three to choose from, being Naruto, Kakashi, and Tsunade. (All other Hokage are currently dead, so their powerlevel is 0.) In onther words, comparing Prime Hashirama to Current Naruto is unfair and somewhat pointless. With that said, I can agree with the comparison you did here, Nick. For the premise you set down, Hashirama would surely beat Naruto Post-Baryon Mode. Though at the same time, I'd see no way of Hashirama to even really touch Prime Naruto either, as the power scaling of the strongest Naruto is just way too crazy lol.

Hashirama pretty much states Naruto is stronger than him during the 4th war. He states Naruto almost had as much chakra as him - but this is after Naruto had already fought just about everyone as well as created well over 200 clones… and it’s before he gains Sage of Six Paths power.

Chakra is such a pain. Kurama's chakra was constantly blending into Naruto's by the seal. After the seal was opened in the war arc, I'd assume the constant mixing would have stopped.... at least through a seal. Knowing that Otsutsuki's were a possible threat, Kurama could have constantly been giving Naruto chakra, and this is assuming the opened seal has stopped working. To add to this, Naruto's body can handle that amount of chakra. I'd bet his chakra actually will regenerate back to his normal levels. Casting a Jutsu would burn a set amount of chakra, after a bit of rest it'll come back. I'd assume, even though it wouldn't be fast, Naruto will have his normal amount. Knowing how Naruto can cut down training time by literal years, I'm sure he'll have more insane jutsus in the future.

So Naruto’s base chakra reserves is actually much greater than what we see. When holding in Kurama 96% of his natural reserves are used to hold Kurama back. However Kurama’s chakra slowly merges with Naruto’s. This really only happens after the Haku fight because that was the first instance of Naruto using nine tails chakra.
A drained base Hokage Naruto swapped hands with Fused Momoshiki. That feat alone surpasses anything prime Hashirama done. Um Naruto was able to dodge, block, counter and react to Fused Momoshiki attacks? Then a base Hokage Naruto with multiple chakra rods impalling him, casually, while smiling powered up Boruto's small Rasengan, that obliterated Fused Momoshiki. In one of those novels, Sasuke stated that Naruto could've easily defeated Fused Momoshiki but let Boruto do it to make him want to train. Naruto speed blitzes prime Hashirama and proceeds to terminate Hashirama's regeneration on an cellular level. A sick Hokage Naruto with no chakra having seizures have feats that >>> Hashirama. Base to base Naruto's stronger and Naruto's SM is far stronger than it was when he was 16. Niggaz act like Naruto peaked in the war arc at 17. The guy kept up his training until he became the Hokage at 27. Then he kept training. Occasionally, he'd spar Boruto, and we know he trained Kawaki teaching him Fire Style.

Yes Indra’s arrow was at a disadvantage due to nature. But look at kakashi who was able to counter lightning with an earth style mud wall. Sauske was using the tailed beasts like a battery. So he probably had to output an insane amount of chakra energy to match/cancel out Naruto’s special tailed beast rasengan’s. But not an impossible feat. Which probably helped lead to his loss/tie to naruto. Because sauske had to output so much chakra to match naruto. He burned himself out quicker which in essence made them more “matched”. Also remember Naruto was fighting for a stale mate where sauske was trying to kill naruto. So Naruto was possibly holding back at certain points. Like pulling punches or certain attacks. He was trying to knock the senses back into sauske. Naruto pulling punches would’ve also contributed to him burning out or tiring because he was dragging the fight out. Hence why they were BOTH so burned out at the end of their fight.
My only problem with the calculation of Narutos chakra is that Harishama compared their chakra when Naruto has already been fighting an entire war, with dozens, if not hundreds of clones at the same time, and we know that one clones made hundreds more using giant rasengan against Madaras wood style
Let's not forget that Naruto without Kurama can now merge with toads like Ma and Pa for sage mode. Not saying this would make him win but it is a fairly large oversight when speaking about chakra, and durability.

It bears mentioning that Naruto's base Chakra levels would be _considerably_ higher as an adult than they were during the War Arc. People _routinely_ forget, but Chakra is a mixture of physical and spiritual energies, and it was mentioned _super early_ in the series that both of _those_ aspects can be trained to higher levels through meditation and exercise. Physical maturity would _also_ contribute to the available Chakra an individual has, since, logically, an adult is physically _much_ more capable than a child and would have more physical energy; they'd have more spiritual energy as well, simply by merit of being older, wiser, and having more life experiences under their belt. This is also the reason that the Third Hokage was mentioned to have _lost_ Chakra compared to his prime, since in his old age his physical energy had declined precipitously.
Unless Naruto, between the War Arc and Boruto, _completely_ stopped training altogether, his Base Chakra capacity would be _quite_ a bit larger overall. Consequently, even with only _half_ of this Chakra, he could _easily_ have as much or more Chakra than he did in Base during the War Arc.
Yeah it makes no sense for Naruto’s chakra to be high jounin level like you don’t see Kakashi with NINE TAILS amount chakra. It’s even more supported with Kakashi saying Naruto has 4x times as more chakra than him and I personally think that since most of Naruto’s chakra was at the time battling with Kurumas, it was at least 10x more. Naruto most likely got more chakra since then since it was the Hidan arc the statement was said. I think he has really high kage level chakra at bear minimum.

And when Hashirama mentioned that Naruto was approaching the level _he_ was at his peak, he was referring to _day-shy-of-17-year-old_ Naruto... and Hashirama died _probably_ in his forties, close to the peak of his power.
I _cannot_ envision Hokage Naruto post-nerf being _any weaker_ Chakra-wise in his Base state than his Base state in Naruto: The Last. He's an _Uzumaki_ for crying out loud! His _physical energy_ is _off-the-charts_ ridiculous by default, and time will only _increase_ his spiritual energy.

The problem with power scaling the Naruto universe is that it's hugely inconsistent during the show, so everything would change depending on the reference you're using. The main example is Minato sealing half Kurama when he was exhausted: that makes zero sense whatsoever.

it always surprises me that hashirama was this strong on his own and could have at any point destroyed madara. Madara always needed help not to go toe to toe with him but to stay alive. Even with the strongest tailed beast he could not beat him. Hasirama knew just how strong he was but never went all out because he wanted madara to be there with him.
Now that Naruto doesn't have Karama doesn't that mean he could summon Ma and Pa and do the fusion like Jiraiya and have them pull in nature energy. The only reason he wasn't able to do that before was because Kurama didn't want to share space with them. Then once Kurama warmed up to Naruto and they became a team Ma and Pa were unneeded. Kurama is gone so Naruto could summon Ma and Pa and have infinite Sage mode.

Shadow clone chakra wasnt actually split evenly, Neji in OG naruto at first could figure out the difference between the clones and the real Naruto, NAruto just figured that out and changed how he made the clones, so In theory at least Naruto could make the clones with less chakra per, probably wouldnt change the outcome by much though
In Neji’s case, he’s just got really good powers of observation. He first noted that the chakra was evenly split between the clones and that he couldn’t tell who the real one was; then he attempted to pick out the real Naruto by observing his behavior- he saw one body staying in the back lines, avoiding combat, which was a dead giveaway of that body being the real one. Naruto played that part really smart by deliberately leaving a clone in the back like that to bait Neji, while he hid himself amidst the rest of the clones.

Canonically Naruto mastered the ultra big ball Rasegan, and its later shuriken version, using sage mode. In fact, it was that very jutsu Naruto used in his inner battle against Kurama when he first managed to separate Kurama's Chakra from his will. Every time Naruto tried using Kurama's chakra to make a Rasegan it either turned into the vermillion Rasegan or a mini tailed beast bomb.

How long does it take him to summon Ma and Pa? I don't remember how long it took him Vs Pain, but I do remember Jiraiya spent half his fight Vs Pain running away stalling for time to summon them

In shippuden, Kakashi mentions that Naruto has about four times more chakra than him, but if he didn’t have Kurama in him and didnt need to maintain the seal, he’d have 100 times more.
Which in theory means that Naruto now has 25 times more chakra than before, without Kurama. And ALL of that can be turned into Sage Chakra. So he’s not as much weaker as people say

I find that Naruto is a bad match-up when fighting Hashirama based on how they both fight. So when you take away Naruto's power cell, it suddenly gets a lot harder to blitz and overwhelm the literal definition of a tank in the Ninja world.

Funny enough in the video games, Orochimaru kinda implies he could've just beat Sasori and Tendo Pain at the same time and taken the Rinnegan (although we know he wouldn't get the Rinnegan since it was in Nagato, not in Tendo Pain).
Orochimaru kinda destroyed both Tsunade and Jiraiya at the same time while severely weakened and no arms also. Which is, quite insane since Kisame was scared of base Jiraiya.

Naruto reached hashirama levels when kurama told him he could use sage mode with kcm. By that point, he had already surpassed minato by kuramas statements about his ability to control and transfer larger amounts of chakra, and this Naruto added sage mode (which can take a ninja from jonin level to sannin level).
If they actually fought at that level, hashirama has the counter to deal with the chakra of the ninetails. Hashirama would win.

Yes hashirama wood dragon can absorb tail beast chakra. Tail beast bomb has no effect on Wood Golem. Naruto has no counter to Shinsusenju. Only 6 path sage mode naruto can beat Hashirama. And of couse, Baryon mode is overkilled and would kill Kurama.

It was actually displayed in the original series that shadow clone doesnt require an even split of chakra to operate. I believe it was during the Neji fight that he produced an uneven split in the chakra put into his clones to trick him into attacking the wrong person.

I've seen others mention it already so I wont go into detail, but as you train through meditation you can increase your chakra levels.
Also when you couple that with the fact that kakashi explained to Naruto that he was expending WELL over the amount of chakra needed to perform justu due to his poor chakra control, which certainly gets better with age. Even sasuke who could only use chidori twice when first learning it is able to use it FAR more times in combat by the war arc and as an adult. AGE = More skill = More Power. While Hashirama was DONE training by the time he fights with Madara (because he died). Adult Naruto has had 16 YEARS of additional training from that time.
Even still, Naruto also can cheat in a way literally nobody else in the series can using shadow clones since he accumulates the experience and power his shadow clones gain while training with them. Naruto would use his shadow clones all the time throughout Boruto to do tasks for him, plus we probably don't see any of the shadow clones he uses to train passively with. We just don't really know just how strong Naruto had gotten since the war arc. For all we know base Naruto is at least 100x stronger than his war arc self, which means his nerf only makes him 50x stronger than his war arc self......which is still ridiculously strong
I understand that it is difficult to be accurate for current Naruto since he hasn't really done anything, but most of the stuff you mentioned was stuff that Naruto had done after constantly fighting the strongest people in the war. Like, there is no way Naruto and Sasuke were even close to full power when they fought each other after the war.
When Hashirama mentioned that Naruto and Kurama's chakra was close to his when he was alive, Naruto was nearly tapped out of energy compared to what he would be at full. He had sent shadow clones all around the battle field to help others battle impossible enemies during the war. He fought Itachi and Nagato. He fought 7 Jinjuriki at the same time, he had fought Obito and the ten tails. Before the alliance showed up to help, Naruto was basically completely out of chakra and barely had time to recover, and only after all of that did Hashirama say "huh, that's almost as much as I had"
Now you can argue that receiving six paths completely replenished him, But then he fought ten tails Madara and then Kaguya. Then he and Sasuke fought.

Interesting theory:
While on baryon mode, Kurama was gathering nature energy to burn instead of Naruto's chakra to make sure Naruto survives. Cause at the beginning Kurama mentioned that they would both die if they used baryon mode.
So maybe after that conversation Kurama came up with the idea to absorb nature energy for Naruto to keep him alive.
That would make complete sense why Naruto had exactly half of his chakra left at the end.
Cause it is stated during the sage mode training that you can only absorb an amount of nature energy equal to you own chakra.
So at the end of the Isshiki fight Naruto was left with half his own chakra while the other half was burned with the nature energy
Neat theory. Except there's the fact that it's directly stated it's their Chakra clashing with each other, and nature energy isn't Chakra. Senjutsu may work similarly, but it's not known. Naruto also had "around half" of his Chakra left, not exactly half.
Idk it makes no sense that Naruto's own chakra got burnt away and never came back. I can see it happening to Kurama but no sense for Naruto to lose half of his own and not get it back.

But yeah, no matter how much Chakra he uses, as long as his capacity for Chakra itself isn't lowered, it should replenish over time. Same with using any other jutsu. In that vein, you could argue that his body was irreparably damaged by using baryon mode, thus lowering his physical energy, and since Chakra is spiritual and physical energy, lower physical energy would mean lower overall Chakra. Although, in the end, we all know it was just an excuse to nerf naruto since he was too strong for boruto, same with Sasuke losing rinnegan.

Umm Nick have you forgotten when the tenseigan almost drained Naruto and Kurama's chakra to zero. The explosion generated by the attack was so powerful it blew the Moon's back out. Naruto tanked this and it took three days for Sakura to recover his chakra.
Keep in mind that Madara also had Sage made. Which from what we know about Toad Sage mode, you also get a "Danger sense" ability which may also be the same for Hashirama's sage mode.
Just wanted to mention that while using Naruto boxing with fused momoshiki is good he also just got a ton of his chakra tanked so was boxing while already pretty damn weakened

There is something that you're forgetting regarding current Naruto's speed that puts him in that "speed-blitzing" range. During the fight between Borushiki and karma-awakened Kawaki, Kawaki stabs Borushiki with a bunch of rods, sends him falling, and was about to crush him with one of those cube things. Sage mode Naruto was able to rescue Borushiki and we know from that fight that he was considerably far away for him to be able to react to them. This, at the very least, puts him in the range as Borushiki and Karma-awakened Kawaki in terms of speed. Because we know that Kawaki at this point is fully Otsutsukified, and that Karmas give you not only the power but all the battle iq of the person who you got it from, we can assume that Karma-awakened Kawaki is around the same range in attack speed as at least Isshiki. Therefore in terms of speed SM Naruto ~ Kawaki ~ Isshiki. It might've been a mental amp but if it can allow SM Naruto to reach that level of speed, then Hashirama would definitely not be able to react to him.

Is Pa dead? He was one of the many that Nagato revived at the end of the Pain arc. Did he die in Boruto? But even so, the way Ma and Pa were talking during Jiraiya’s fight against Pain made it sound like one of them would’ve been enough to maintain Sage Mode.

I believe your first point is plausible since it's been showcased many times that one has the potential to increase their Chakra reserves.
However as far as Kurama, you're under the assumption that he contributed only half or less of Narutos total power output when that was never explicitly stated. But following that logic, when Naruto lost Kurama he would have on average lost half his power, placing him at 50%. But Naruto also lost half of his own Chakra pool, which would actually place him at around 25% of his peak output. And again, that's if we assume both Naruto and Kurama were contributing half of the total output.
Also as a side note, his speed feats were only ever performed in KCM, so without it there's no telling how fast he is these days (not to be confused with reaction time). Unfortunately, there's just not enough evidence to support his current power. Which is precisely why Nick examined the feats we've already been presented with in his base.

For 2.) we have only have three to choose from, being Naruto, Kakashi, and Tsunade. (All other Hokage are currently dead, so their powerlevel is 0.)
In onther words, comparing Prime Hashirama to Current Naruto is unfair and somewhat pointless.

Chakra is such a pain.
Kurama's chakra was constantly blending into Naruto's by the seal. After the seal was opened in the war arc, I'd assume the constant mixing would have stopped.... at least through a seal. Knowing that Otsutsuki's were a possible threat, Kurama could have constantly been giving Naruto chakra, and this is assuming the opened seal has stopped working. To add to this, Naruto's body can handle that amount of chakra. I'd bet his chakra actually will regenerate back to his normal levels. Casting a Jutsu would burn a set amount of chakra, after a bit of rest it'll come back. I'd assume, even though it wouldn't be fast, Naruto will have his normal amount.
Knowing how Naruto can cut down training time by literal years, I'm sure he'll have more insane jutsus in the future.

There's something I've been asking myself, but aren't Naruto's chakra pathways have been drastically increased by Kurama's chakra? Has such, isn't he supposed to have a High jonin chakra reserve du to Uzumaki half blood, and Kurama? Just asking, I'm curious about that^^'
So Naruto’s base chakra reserves is actually much greater than what we see. When holding in Kurama 96% of his natural reserves are used to hold Kurama back. However Kurama’s chakra slowly merges with Naruto’s. This really only happens after the Haku fight because that was the first instance of Naruto using nine tails chakra.

Naruto's base chakra reserves at just 16 were 4X as much as Kakashi, and that was with Naruto using most of his chakra, to suppress Kurama's chakra which if he didn't then it would've been 100X as much as Kakashi. Naruto's chakra reserves only increased over time. Ohh he's also the Asura's reincarnation as well. Wind Style the Wind Style Rasen shuriken negates regeneration. Naruto's far faster. He's clearly the more physically stronger out of the 2 and his destructive AP is a lot greater since he can create Oodama Rasengans or Rasen shurikens the size of Tailed Beasts bombs. That in combination with 1000+ of Shadow Clones easily negated Deep Forest Emmergence. Naruto has multiple SM boss Toad Summonings, that can use ninjutsu's and senjutsu together. Naruto speed blitzes prime Hashirama and proceeds to terminate Hashirama's regeneration on an cellular level. A sick Hokage Naruto with no chakra having seizures have feats that >>> Hashirama. Base to base Naruto's stronger and Naruto's SM is far stronger than it was when he was 16. Niggaz act like Naruto peaked in the war arc at 17. The guy kept up his training until he became the Hokage at 27. Then he kept training. Occasionally, he'd spar Boruto, and we know he trained Kawaki teaching him Fire Style.

Thats not even a thing it's just some fan made non sense not trying to insult you but sun sage mode is not a thing nor does it exist. Hashirama just has a general form of sage mode

As the sun is a form of nature energy, it's not beyond possibility, and I highly doubt Hashirama's sage mode is just "some sagemode" it must have come from somewhere. So it's all theories
@@davidadetun8029 i never said it's impossible but rather unlikely. And we basically do know how sage mode is learned you must be taught by a sage of said sage mode transformation. Example : Toad sage mode is taught by a toad sage,and the Snake mode is well taught by a Snake sage and so forth. How could the sun do any of that when it's just a hotball of gas.

Yes Indra’s arrow was at a disadvantage due to nature. But look at kakashi who was able to counter lightning with an earth style mud wall. Sauske was using the tailed beasts like a battery. So he probably had to output an insane amount of chakra energy to match/cancel out Naruto’s special tailed beast rasengan’s. But not an impossible feat. Which probably helped lead to his loss/tie to naruto. Because sauske had to output so much chakra to match naruto. He burned himself out quicker which in essence made them more “matched”. Also remember Naruto was fighting for a stale mate where sauske was trying to kill naruto. So Naruto was possibly holding back at certain points. Like pulling punches or certain attacks. He was trying to knock the senses back into sauske. Naruto pulling punches would’ve also contributed to him burning out or tiring because he was dragging the fight out. Hence why they were BOTH so burned out at the end of their fight.

My only problem with the calculation of Narutos chakra is that Harishama compared their chakra when Naruto has already been fighting an entire war, with dozens, if not hundreds of clones at the same time, and we know that one clones made hundreds more using giant rasengan against Madaras wood style
You forgot about Naruto's Sexy Jutsu, it works better the stronger the opponent
Let's not forget that Naruto without Kurama can now merge with toads like Ma and Pa for sage mode. Not saying this would make him win but it is a fairly large oversight when speaking about chakra, and durability.
