Brilliantly done!. Now do it in your house's driveway, with hand tools, on a car that has rusted bolts and is lifted on jack-stands, as most of us do it :D
You dont need a spring compressor , I did with a jack and jackstands. 1. Put the car under jackstands 2. Put the jack under the wishbone where the spring is recessed 3. Loosen the bolt and hammer it out 4. Remove shock absorber bolt (17mm) 4. Push wishbone downwards and remove spring. Reverse all. Recommend to change the shocks aswell and the lower rubber bearing of the shock absorber
Thank you for your question! The first sign that the spring has gone bad is its length degression, which will be visible in the vehicle clearance. Best Regards, Autodoc Team
i guess im asking randomly but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Kash Cole I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@@dannydonu5947 My comment was about using the X1 (E84) coils on my E93, which is about 200kg heavier than the E92. I'm sorry I can't give more advice - it's one of those things that's not a simple formula. If you don't want to take a gamble with springs, consider adding shims instead. Good luck.
Thank you for your comment. Such a tool can be purchased, it will not cost much, but with a special tool you can make the replacement easily and safely. Best Regards, Autodoc team.
I think you are the one who is stupid Albert, you need proper tools to do a proper Job, I do not think you should try fix the car yourself , bring it to the shop

I did. Worked flawlessly… maybe some heat was needed on a bolt or two lol.

How long are oem springs
315mm for m-sport but I'd highly recommend putting the 350mm X1 coils to raise the car up. Mine scrapes like mad at the stock height.
@@sparkey196so they fit perfectly? I need to add some height on the rear 😅
