Review of Atlas UHP Tire and Update on Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires

- Just a review on two sets of tires. The Atlas Tires has been on my Phaeton for a few months and the Mickey Thompsons have been on my Sequoia for a little while longer.

My Atlas Sportgreen 2 Summer tires are awesome in every condition. Even at 160mph on the Autobahn
I had a defective set.
You should be getting an oil change at least twice a year. I've had my Atlas forces going on close to almost 2 years now.And they're pretty decent tired if you don't beat up on them.The way that I do I do drive very aggressively and I do drive an average of eighty miles I am curious to find out what might the inside of my tire is going to look like when I dismount good video

I agree. I got some different brand tires and they are fine so far. One road trip so far but I need to do more driving of the Phaeton. I have been driving my CL to test some things out.
I have these on my 28s with 25 series sidewall. I love them!! No vibrations!!
Hard to believe. This Atlas Tire Force UHP tire has a 5 star rating at Priority Tire a very large tire seller by many customers who swear by them. Saw the same 5 Star Rating at Walmart on these Atlas Tire Force UHP Tires.
That's why I originally purchased them because of the rating. I never seen a review on youtube either so I wanted to put my experience on line.
@@gasolara2002 I have a question were these tires high speed balanced? That area of the tire the bead you pointed out locks behind the rim with the high pressure put inside the rim to keep it inflated that bead doesn’t move. I tell you this because of my experience with tires mounting and balancing them. I was thinking of putting a set of these same tires on a Corvette I own. It would save me a lot of money. They are rated for my car by the size required at 97Y for the front. 97Y is for up to 186 miles an hour. That’s a High Performance Tire. I would of Contacted Simple Tire.
@@ffas23 I actually got a replacement and they did the exact same thing. I ended up taking them all off and all the tires had the issue. I don't recommend those tires at all.

I have the same brand 265 35 22 for 3 years never had a issued
The tire ended up being defective and I got a full refund.
You say it’s a bad tire but you also say that it vibrates at 60-80mph? It could also be your car. Perhaps you need new wheel hubs, tie rods, or even alignment. I see it’s for a 22inch and obviously if the rim is bigger then 19 inches I’m pretty sure there would be vibration bc of the size. But then again you didn’t specify if your car is the issue too. So there is no proof of it being a bad tire or not. I understand it’s a cheap material. Especially if the interior is very soft but then again you had it on 22s so most likely any tires that size would have issues.
Already replaced the tires. The tires were defective. It had separation of the side wall from the inside leaving bubbles on the inside of the sidewall. I got a full refund. I ended up with getting Vercelli Strada II tires based on Fitment industries recommendations.

Before they gave out, how well did it ride? Was traction and handling good?
The ride was soft, the handling wasn't too good at all. The Atlas UHP is probably at best a drift car tire.
25%side wall😂 its going to shake regardless unless u get runflats with that low of profile
The tire was defective and I got a full refund. My replacement tires are perfectly fine. They put 25 series on plenty of the "poster" /super cars and performance vehicles without any shake or issues.
Could the vibration been because they weren't balanced properly?
Nah. It was a defective tire. The sidewall was defective and coming apart on the inside.
@@gasolara2002 would you try them again? Also was there any rim protector? Considering putting these on my e550 Mercedes.
What size are those you reviewing
The MTs are 305/55 R20
You got tired that are out of round... That doesn't mean they are bad ties
They were actually defective. I got refunded. They were actually coming apart from the inside.
Those rubber bands tires and potholes
Yeah. Part of life. Plan on a big brake upgrade and rubber bands is what will clear the brakes.
