  • In this episode, I make a low budget DIY Mandalorian Jawa costume in record time! I have less than a week to build 2 costumes and the first costume is a Jawa build for my daughter. All easy ... and anyone can do it! #StarWars #Cosplay #Mandalorian

    HA HA HA!! My apologies to everyone for slacking off this time!
    I like the Mouse Droid way in the back at 5:50... Will it drive around soon?

    But how did you make the hood? 😬

      I made a pattern. It was pretty easy. Find Try To Finish Something on Facebook and DM me … I would be happy to give it to you!

    How did you get the eyes to blur

    • @trytofinishsomething
      @trytofinishsomething  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They aren’t blurred at all … when they light up they are bright enough to just be bright eyes and look blurred!!

    What did you use for the eyes? What are they called on Amazon?

    How does your daughter see out of the hood? If the eyes are placed above her real eyes they look out of place but if they're located where her actual eyes are then she can't see.

      The hood is a one way mesh hood and the wire in the hem of the hood make it so I can open the hood a bit higher then her head would make it. This makes the eyes in her eyebrows look more “in place”.

    great video what fabric did you use for the cape please

      It was a cotton-lined burlap fabric I picked up at Joann Fabric. My daughter is a "comfort freak" and won't wear something if it's "itchy" so I had to find something that had the right "look" and still be soft on the inside!

    What material did you use for the robe ?

      I am terrible at material and sewing. I went to Joann fabric and wandered around for about an hour just feeling fabric. Me and 30 ladies over 70. I finally found one I liked, but not sure what it is!
