Thing I experienced with the Illuminati 28 is that it looses its stiffness over the years. The one in the clip is my first Illuminati and it started to become much more flexy about 6 months after this shoot. So when I bought the second one I asked it to be coated with texalium both top and bottom wich resulted in a super responsive and stiff pumper behaving in many ways more lika a slalom board than a carving pumper.
